"You can't call dibs on this! We made the discovery together!" Uriel's eyes now glead in bright blue.

"What was that? I can't hear you." Said Sam as he covered his ears with his fingers.

"You!" Uriel started chasing after Sam around the rock formation, while the latter kept pretending he didn't hear him. With every lap they took, the glimr of the rocks grew stronger in a pulsatile manner and the resonating sound of the rocks beca sharper, but the two youthful hunters took notice of this a second too late.

A sudden flash of ligh lit up the place entirely and by the ti Uriel ca back to himself, Sam was nowhere to be found and the only light nearby ca from his tallow torch.

"Sam, quit playing, I give up. I'll let you have the full credit for this, I'll even help you write an article about this. co back," Uriel said trying to hold off his laughter. "It's not funny, this isn't the ti to be playing around." His voice was lost in the cave and Uriel finally realized he was completely alone.

The first thing he did was to channel flux in the sa stone Sam did, but it wasn't accepting it. It felt the sa as trying to fill a broken glass with water.

"It seems there's a cooldown period. Does that an that this dungeon is ant to be cleared by a single person? Or is it because I'm not an adult? But then, why would Sam be considered an adult? It doesn't add up, unless... the earring!

He was acknowledge by the Air spirit people as one of their own and since a marriage ceremony was held, it ans he is considered an adult." If his theory was correct, it ant that the only way to get inside the dungeon was to get married, but that ca with many problems on its own. "Ah!

This is so troubleso, I won't be able to enter if I'm not considered an adult, the easy solution would be marrying soone, but then I won't be able to enter Chichén Itzá. Why are dungeons so problematic?"

Uriel sighed as he sat on the biggest rock, thinking on possible solutions. However, as ti passed and the tallow torch began flickering he realized how truly direso his situation was. He didn't have any ans to buy food, water or anything really.

Besides, even if he was juggling with the possibility of getting married in order to be granted access, he would need to go back on his own and finding the way was absolutely impossible on his own. In fact, he was counting on Sam's eidetic mory in case he needed to return.

With no way to return, his only hope was to find a way to enter the dungeon and he knew it. The problem was that his ti was limited and his tools non existent. Still, ard with his wits and a disgusting tallow torch made with suspicious materials, Uriel leaned close to the carvings trying to find any possible secret aning behind them.

"I get it, the belly button of the world is located right in the middle of the world," He muttered after reading it for the fifth ti, but then it hit him. "No! It doesn't say it's located in the middle of the world, it is the middle of the world. This is the 'axis mundi'!

It's just like in the Alamo, could they be connected?" A mad glint was revealed on Uriel's eyes, his mind racing under the last remnants of a dying torch.

The cave beca dark and silent as a grave, a fitting place for a person who seed to be immune to death, but Uriel wasn't planning on giving up so easily.

"Of course there's a connection, there must be!" He said as he placed his hand on the rock, ony this ti instead of attempting to channel flux energy, he focused on his mystical sense.

Thanks to the lack of any external distraction, Uriel was able to enter in a state similar to ditation which allowed him to focus his whole self on the task at hand and suddenly, a connection to the mystical realm was established.

Instead of the bright flash that took place when Sam disappeared, Uriel felt as though the world turned upside down and he was now sitting on a rock on the roof instead of the ground. In reality, nothing seemingly changed.

Everything was still pitch black and there were no sounds to go by, but Uriel was positive he was inside the dungeon now because he was able to feel the strange mbrane that marked he crossed whenever he entered a dungeon. However, he had no ans to confirm whether or not his theory was true.

Then, the strangest thing happened. He felt as though the rock he was sitting was lifted up and then dropped on the ground with him still sitting on top of it. It was weird, but Uriel didn't think much of it until it happened again.

"What's this?" He said as he passed his hand over the surface of the 'rock', only to realize it was a tortoise shell, still attached to a very alive tortoise.

Suddenly, all the air was vaccuud out of the place and Uriel couldn't breathe anymore. It was a simple, yet incredibly effective way of getting rid of any unwanted visitors as no living creature could survive without air.

Panicked, Uriel attempted to activate his trait, but just like it happened with the air all of his flux energy was also being vaccuud.

'No way' He attempted to say, though sounds couldn't travel in the void and he futly moved his mouth. Then, sothing completely unexpected happened, the system stepped in and saved the day.
