It was early in the morning when soone appeared at the front door of the Dungeon Raiders headquarters. It was a young woman with black hair and a tired look on her face, however, she didn't have the appearance of the usual slum dweller and her clothes were brand new.

Janett greeted her on the door asking for what business did she have in there and the woman replied that she was looking for Uriel Sage.

The fact that she knew him by na left the receptionist perplexed, especially taking into consideration that gacities were so huge people would get lost even if they knew the exact address they were looking for and finding soone in the slums was a titanic task.

Janett thought maybe the stars had aligned and she was an assassin sent by soone to kill Uriel and she would finally be free from her tornt, but her hopes were cut short once she realized that the woman in front of her wasn't a hunter.

Her physique was sowhat exuberant, which was usually a sign of soone possessing a trait, but her energy signature was so low she couldn't perceive any flux coming out of her.

"Mister Sage, there's a woman looking for you at the entrance but she won't tell her na." Janett said respectfully after entering the second floor, which was forbidden to any employee other than the original Dungeon Raiders and Janett the receptionist.

"What does she look like?" He asked, receiving a powerful elbow on the ribs from the woman cuddling next to him on the sofa. "I'm asking because I have no idea who could possibly be looking for ."

dusa glared at him with suspicion, but she knew she wasn't Uriel's girlfriend and had no rights to stop him from following Janett downstairs where the unknown woman tried to ease her anxiousness by scanning the place. Since the place was still on renovations, they didn't have a hall or a proper place to receive guests, so the woman stood awkwardly in the midst of busy hunters coming and going.

"Miss Vivian, what are you doing here?" Uriel imdiately recognized the real state agent who sold the place to him.

"Excuse , Mister Sage, I had no one else to turn to." She said trying to hold back tears and rushing towards the hunter in an awkward hug Uriel didn't return. Uriel tried to get the woman to state her business, but she was sobbing ss and he couldn't make anything out of her words so he took her upstairs where they at least had so furniture to make her more comfortable.

"What brought you here? If you need money, I'm sorry but tis are hard for everyone."

"You can't possibly be so heartless! Can't you see she's crying!?" dusa scolded him and offered a cup of coffee to the woman.

"I couldn't possibly ask for money from you, not after all you did for ." Vivian hurriedly replied.

"Really? There's another one! Uriel, you womanizer!" dusa nagged at Uriel who remained unfazed.

"I just bought this place from you, it was nothing but business."

"No, you did so much for even if you didn't notice. The commission alone allowed to quit that souless job and you didn't... you didn't take advantage of and I will forever grateful for that."

Uriel lifted his brow pondering since when being a decent human being was sothing to be grateful about, but the answer was obvious. Since the arrival, morals beca more flexible in society and the value of life and dignity was nothing compared to wealth and connections.

The woman seed awkward for a minute and then continued speaking.

"That's why it's so difficult for to ask more of you, but you're my last hope."

"Alright, then, what's the deal?"

"There's a woman in my apartnt." Vivian tried to take a sip from her coffee, but her hands were trembling uncontrollably.

"And you want to evict her." dusa nodded knowingly.

"Hang on, you're skipping the most important part. What's in it for ?"

"I still have most of the money from the commission and I can pay you handsoly, but that's only if you succeed. The problem is that I don't want you to evict her, I want you to get her to give back my sister and then kill the woman." Find your next adventure on My Virtual Library Empire

"Your sister was kidnapped and instead of going to the authorities you co here? I'm sorry, but I'm too busy to solve your problems."

Vivian looked dejectedly at the man in front of her. The first ti he t him he seed to be cold, but nowhere near his current deanor. She then wondered if the reason why he didn't touch her wasn't because he was a good person and simply because he didn't find her attractive.

"It's not like that! I would have gone to the authorities, but the problem is that she's a hunter and the Rangers are too busy these days."

Needless to say, Uriel knew the reason why the rangers were so busy was because of the massacre that took place in the outpost which, apart from the cost in human lives, also caused a shortage in peace officers inside the city.

"Fine, I'll go. But don't bla if it ends up being too expensive and you end up in debt."

"Thank you! thank you so much! I'll pay whatever price you say even if it takes my whole life!" The woman cheered revealing a faint smile of relief.

"Uriel, are you sure? She's asking you to kill a hunter... a human." dusa looked him in the eye.

"That's not a problem, if she kidnapped or hard soone it ans they're not innocent. Killing scum isn't an issue for , unless they're stronger than of course. Do you know what's her trait?" Uriel said with a grin that hinted that he was actually excited.

"I'm not a hunter so I don't know how strong she is, but I think her trait is related to her eyes. She's always weeping blood."
