The girls remained unblinking at the revelation made by Uriel and they awkwardly laughed not knowing if he was joking or if he ant sothing different to what he just said. Then dusa broke the silence with the sa question they all had in their mind.

"But you're here, aren't you?"

"Yes."

"What do you an then? Did you die for a few minutes or sothing?" It was Nika's turn to ask a question.

"It's complicated."

"Are you a zombie?" Luna said as she stood on the tip of her toes to lean closer to his face, but her question prompted Nika to take her distance from Uriel.

"No, no! I'm not a zombie or a cryptid. The dagger I found in Chichén Itzá had an inscription that said 'offer thy heart'."

"And of course the first thing you thought was to stab yourself in the heart like a moron!" Nika scolded.

"I did think about it, but you need to understand that I went through a lot. There were two horror level cryptids nipping at my heels, I was badly injured and burned and I was about to die anyway so I figured I should at least give it a try.

When I first found the orichalcum dagger it was ruined, but after breaking a few orbs nearby it started repairing itself, then I charged it with the batteries and it started shimring and I was transported to the mystical realm where I t Water warlock, a mber from a civilization that precedes the diluve,

In the mystical realm I saw a vision of 'El dorado' and I saw Dearest One and Father of many nations. I know this sounds crazy but I'm telling the truth. I was atop the pyramid and I saw Water warlock killing himself with the dagger, then we were both transported to a different place.

We argued because he was an absolute jerk and he blabbered sothing about bestowing a blessing upon , which he didn't want to do but ended up doing it anyways. But the thing that bothers is I don't rember what happened after that and I think I now know why."

"Uhm, that's odd. Entering the mystical realm with your body shouldn't be possible." Luna muttered.

"Wait, you knew about the mystical realm from before?"

"Of course I did. Every culture calls it in a different way, but what defines it is that you can't go there with your body."

"I still don't see how using my trait on you will be of any use." dusa was clearly reluctant to use her trait on him again because she didn't want to grow even more distant to him.

"I think that so of the visions I saw weren't an effect of your trait and they were simply triggered by the fear instilled on . In other words, they were mories."

"Fine, I'll do it but please don't hold it against if it's too scary." dusa warned and proceeded to activate her trait.

Uriel felt his throat dry imdiately and his palms began sweating even before looking her in the eye. Sothing like that was more than understandable taking into consideration that if it worked he would relive painful mories his mind had kept hidden from him because of trauma, but even if it didn't work he would still have to face his worst fears.

"Here I go." He said and proceeded to look dusa in the eye. They were pure crimson eyes, glimring and powerful, but sad looking too. The tears that started forming caused so of the light to refract, giving a beautiful effect that heavily contrasted with what followed.

Uriel fell to the floor convulsing, spitting foam out of his mouth and his complexion paled instantly, but that was only what they were able to see.

Inside of his mind, Uriel saw the sa visions as last ti, only now he tried to remain calm while thinking it was all a fignt of his imagination, but even if he knew that it was still hard for him to think of anything other than the insects crawling all over him. However, that fear was completely outshadowed when the mories started flowing back to him.

He rembered everything, stabbing himself in the heart, the cyan liquid entering his body and healing him and also what happened when Water warlock decided to bestow his blessing on him.

The gigantic man placed his hands on top of him and started pouring out imnse amounts of flux energy to the point Uriel couldn't resist and passed out, but after that he kept going with an eerie smile on his face.

Then he saw himself and Water warlock on top of a pyramid during a solar eclipse just like last ti, only now things were different.

"What are you doing to him!? Let him go right this instant!" dusa commanded.

"You shouldn't be here, child." Was all he said in reply before taking a bite out of Uriel's heart.

"I said, let him go!" dusa's eyes flared up in crimson as she rushed to kick Water warlock who didn't even bother dodging.

"If you want to help the kid, tell him to listen to the system. It's the only way I have to communicate with him." Water warlock said as Uriel's blood dripped from his mouth.

"Why would I do that?"

"If you value your life you won't co back here ever again. Now go, child." Water warlock waved his hand and dusa ca back to reality where Uriel was unconscious.

dusa was beyond perplexed. She didn't expect to be able to enter Uriel's vision, let alone et Water warlock who she didn't even think was real. She didn't know how sothing like that was possible, why would her trait allow her to do sothing like that and she didn't even know whether it was a good idea to tell Uriel what Water warlock said.

The only thing she knew was that within Uriel's body lurked sothing far more dangerous than anything she could imagine.
