The next morning Uriel woke up to Nika shouting in spanish and he hurried over to the living room to see what was that about. dusa exited her room already dressed in her daily clothes, but Luna showed up with her pajamas on and rubbing her sleepy eyes.
"What's going on?" Uriel asked trying to figure out what she was saying, but his knowledge in foreign languages was limited unless they were from ancient civilizations. Nika was in her comfy clothes as usual, but her face looked pale and her hair was disheveled which made her look crazy.
"I- I was in your shadow to regain so flux before starting off with my day like usual, but then I felt sothing touch !"
"Calm down, you must have brushed past sothing." dusa said as she rubbed her back to comfort her.
"No! In my shadow form I can't be touched, sothing is off, I can feel it." Nika's eyes were fixated on the distance and she was anxiously biting her nails to the point they were ruined which, knowing how much she cared for her appearance, led everyone to believe she was telling the truth.
"Can you show us where you were touched?"
"Over there." Nika pointed towards Uriel's shadow.
"Uriel, did you do touch Nika without her permission? I can't believe you would stoop so low, but she doesn't seem to be lying." dusa hesitantly asked.
"Of course not! That idiot is pointing at my shadow."
"Oh, you ant the spot where I was touched. It was here." Nika lifted her long shirt revealing her shapely sunkissed thighs prompting dusa's envious look. Ever since she lost her long hair she had been feeling insecure about her looks and she couldn't help but feel envy at the beautiful tanned legs of her friend.
"Uriel, look the other way!" dusa said to prevent him from seeing the spectacle as Nika was showing way too much skin.
"Uhm," Luna crouched near Nika and started sniffing her. "You sll funny."
"What!? I took a shower, I swear!" Nika said blushingly. Seeing her so flustered was a treat for all of them as she was usually so carefree and annoying they felt sowhat vindicated by her discomfort.
"You sll like the thing Uriel wanted to gift ."
"The snake?"
"It was a quetzacoatl, winged snakes from the Mayan mythology. Their weakness must be cold since they're also reptiles." Luna said.
"Wait, I don't get it, why didn't you like it then? I thought you liked all cryptids."
"It slled wrong, like she does." Luna pointed towards Nika, who shyly stretched the long shirt to cover her legs as much as possible.
"I wish I was wearing pants." Nika muttered triggering murderous glares from everyone present. Even Luna was bothered by her nasty habit of never wearing pants at ho.
"Where did you get the pluhie?" Luna asked Uriel, who lingered for a few seconds before replying.
"From the sa place I got the rabbit, my trait. There's a souvenir shop inside my museum and I can buy stuff from there but before you get any ideas, I have to spend credits and everything is really expensive."
"I see," dusa nodded knowingly. "transforming matter into energy and then energy into matter is a possibility with flux energy."
"Did the rabbit sll funny too?"
"No, he was the cutest." Luna shook her head.
"Nika, enter my shadow again and see if it happens again."
Nika wanted to refuse, every inch of her body told her it was a bad idea, but if she couldn't enter Uriel's trait now that she was accompanied she wouldn't be able to do it when alone either which would leave her without any ans to regain flux.
She disappeared into Uriel's shadow and appeared inside the museum, relieved that nothing touched her. She looked around the hall and it was pretty much the sa as always, then she entered the ancient exhibition room where the clay figurine was being showcased and finally she headed towards the pre apocalyptic exhibition where she noticed sothing was off.
"Co on, do you really need inspiration to do that when you live with three beauties like us? If you need a 'hand' you could have just asked, the worst that could happen is getting rejected." Nika said mockingly as soon as she stepped outside Uriel's trait.
"What are you talking about?"
"She ans masturbation. It's a healthy habit for young n that brings many benefits such as better sleep, relaxation and has positive psychological effects. But you must be careful to do it with moderation." Luna spoke with a plain tone of voice, just like any doctor would.
"Uriel, you do that kind of thing!?" dusa asked with a mix of disgust and curiosity.
Everyone turned to look at Uriel who was evidently uncomfortable by the subject.
"I don't get what does this have to do with anything!"
"It's obvious, you took your dirty magazine out and you still haven't returned it. It's the first ti it's been missing for so long."
"I didn't take it!" Uriel replied as he attempted to summon it, but it didn't appear. Suddenly, his face beca pale and he started sweating.
"What is it?"
"I can't take it out from my trait!"
"What is that about a dirty magazine?" dusa placed the tip of her finger on her chin in a pensive manner.
"It's an old collector's edition Lewd ladies magazine I found during one of our incursions to the lost city. I kept it because at that ti I was having trouble finding artifacts I could store and it also gives the ability to know the body asurents of won."
