'Incident report:

After successfully entering the dungeon located beneath the Alamo, our team encountered the cryptid species referred to as the 'Air spirit people' in the reports of the few surviving soldiers that ca back after the first exploration.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to confirm their alleged kind and gentle behavior because of the insubordination of one of our mbers, Mark Jacobson, who attacked them on sight.

I, colonel Cassandra, took the swift decision to provide support in order to bring down the creature before it alerted the rest of its flock but sohow, the biggest one among them was drawn towards us nonetheless and we opened fire against the creature.

We didn't suffer any losses, but because of the reckless actions of our mber we were forced to spend at least half of our batteries fighting a single cryptid. I suggest taking asures against said mber to make a statent and prevent such incidents from happening again.'

Inside the biggest tent a woman dressed in an army uniform was writing the incident report after their attack on the Air spirit people, but she didn't look much like the Cassandra Uriel knew. She had a stern face and instead of her usual rebel deanor, her appearance was neat and it gave off the disciplined vibe of experienced soldiers.

"I did what I had to do to keep us safe and I stand by my actions." Mark said as soon as he was brought inside by two ard guards. Even a heavenly rank like him would think twice before fighting against people ard with shoulder cannons.

"I didn't ask any questions, therefore you shouldn't speak. The next ti you disrespect , I'll make you regret it."

"Disrespect you!?" Mark scoffed and Cassandra went through with her word and crossed his face with a slap. "I won't be treated this way." That comnt earned him yet another slap only this ti he fell silent.

"Even a dog would learn after the first slap, how dumb are you?" Cassandra glared at Mark. "I asked you a question, do I need to repeat the rules?"

"I'm very dumb, I'm the dumbest." Mark said keeping his eyes on the ground. What he thought would be a slap with more noise than weight turned out to be much stronger than expected.

It wasn't just the fact that, contrary to Mark who began his hunting career as an ascended and he ranked up to heavenly, she started as a heavenly rank as soon as she acquired her trait. No, it was because of the size of her hand, it was much smaller than a man's which allowed her to apply much more force into a smaller area. Instead of a slap, it was like a sword slash.

"Good, now sit... not on the chair, on the ground. Stay there while you reflect on your actions."

Mark would have loved to rebuke, to complain or even to throw around the weight of his father's company. But inside that dungeon even his brother was killed and no one 'knew' what happened to him and he was a colonel and had the support of all of his n. Just the thought of what would happen to him who had no backing inside the dungeon made him sweat buckets.

"Colonel, there's a couple of intruders heading our way. Should we open fire?" A corporal inford behind his full armor that made impossible to identify him.

"If we learned sothing this morning it was to not rush our judgent. Let them get to a safe distance until they identify themselves." Cassandra headed outside the tent and used binoculars to spot the two intruders.

One was a handso man with gleaming yellow eyes that waved at her like he could see her in spite of the darkness and the distance, the other was soone she hated from the bottom of her heart but she couldn't touch him without angering her sister.

"What do you want?" Said Cassandra as she t them mid way.

"We? Absolutely nothing... it's not what we want, it's what you need." Sam replied.

"I don't need anything from you."

"Just because you can't see a threat doesn't an it isn't there." Sam didn't have to explain any further as Cassandra was already aware of his trait.

"Listen, if you're trying to pull sothing to get to date you, I've already told you like a million tis I won't ever date you. You're not my type."

"Will you at least tell what is your type?" Sam asked earning a well deserved elbow to the ribs.

"Stronger than . Now spill the beans." Her cold eyes showed how unamused she was.

"We're not so dumb as to give you the information for free. We want one of your mining lasers."

"Done." Cassandra replied imdiately which made them doubt if they asked the right price for the information, but after striking the deal they couldn't back on their words.

"The island on top of you is falling, it may take hours, but it's certainly going down."

"Corporal, as a lieutenant to confirm this. You two, you're dismissed."

"We're not from the army and you can't 'dismiss' us. We're not leaving until you give us the laser." Sam replied offended.

"I will give you the mining laser, as soon as we're done with them. Now leave before I change my mind and kick your both your asses."

"See? I told you we couldn't trust her," Uriel said. "If you don't give us the laser we'll have no choice but to go back from where we ca from. But we won't lift a finger to help you after even if you co begging on your knees."

Sothing in Uriel's tone of voice irked Cassandra to no end and she assud it was because a lowly ascended that started as nothing but an evolved who wasn't even stronger than a regular human, dared speak to her like that.

"Like I would ever do sothing like that." Cassandra was very different from her sister, in the sense that she didn't have any troubles communicating her emotions with her face. And what she was showing right there was pure disgust.
