Chapter 33: Chase Them!

Lucien inside the dungeon was ready to leave.

He walked out of the inner cave holding Mumu in his hands as he waved at the spider queen.

"Wait for

at ho. All of you will be settled in a new place."

"Kikkk!"

The spider queen didn’t move even an inch, lowering her head obediently, her huge body trembled slightly.

[19:58]

At the sa ti, Lurenzo, who had just exhausted all his courage and various tricks to survive from the two big spiders, spotted Lucien’s figure.

His face instantly darkened.

Oh, how he wished he could strangle this lord, but he signed a slave contract...

Nevermind.

"My lord! You’re safe!" Lurenzo’s face changed like a book and he imdiately flattered Lucien with his professional rchant smile.

Lucien rolled his eyes silently as he stood still, dropping a bomb to Lurenzo.

"The dungeon is going to disappear. Prepare yourself."

...??

"Uh, disappear? Did my lord clear the dungeon— "

Ah, impossible. Even an E-rank hunter couldn’t solo-clear an F-rank dungeon...

Unless he’s a D-rank hunter with an extre offensive ability..

It can’t be, right...?

[19:50]

The void twisted, the familiar dizziness and the feeling of passing through the invisible mbrane swept through.

Lurenzo almost broke his professional smile.

It can’t be?!

"My lord!! If you destroy the dungeon, the guild will be— ahhhh!"

The two people and one sli cub disappeared from the dungeon and the dungeon itself also slowly disappeared, reappearing sowhere else.

The mont Lucien left the dungeon, the dizziness struck but only briefly and he could keep his calm, his feet landed safely on the camp’s ground.

Hooo...good—

"Don’t move!"

Rows of glinting cold weapons surrounded Lucien, the sharp tip was only a few inches away from stabbing his body.

Lucien’s smile stiffened on his face.

Even without looking, he could feel the weapons surrounding him from all sides tightly—

Not even a fly could break through!

Lurenzo, who had just co out of the void, silently slapped his forehead.

Ah, what did he say?

They’re done for.

Lucien’s inner soul was so scared that he almost cried while biting the handkerchief, but outside, he furrowed his eyebrows coldly.

His Landlord’s aura surged, shrouding him in a low, mysterious pressure.

"What are you doing?"

Lucien’s voice was clear and calm, striking right at the hunters’ hearts like a hamr.

The hunters subconsciously stiffen.

They could feel a deep, unreadable pressure coming from this handso young man.

Gulp.

E-rank?

No, maybe D-rank...

Or higher?

The other hunters looked at each other with sweats dripping down their temples.

What to do? What to do??

Amidst the panic, a low, hoarse voice sounded at the back and the crowd imdiately parted like Moses parted the red sea.

Tap. Tap.

Green mist coiled around the man’s fragile figure, covering almost all of his greyish skin.

A hunter who was standing close to the man suddenly covered his throat, his face turning blue and purple.

"Cough! Cough!"

The other hunters imdiately dragged the man away, shouting,

"Antidote! Antidote!"

A man with a thin, almost fragile body stepped up, his pitch black eyes hidden under his unkept long hair looked at Lucien sinisterly.

"Here to catch the sinner."

A hint of green flashed in the man’s pupils.

Those eyes...

Lucien gulped.

It reminded him of a poisonous snake.

Suppressing his trembling legs and his slow movent, Lucien sneered,

"A sinner? Pfft." Lucien chuckled.

"What a joke."

Lucien slowly moved, pushing the weapons pointed at his body without batting an eyelid.

The hunters pointing their weapons at him subconsciously lowered their weapons and took a few steps back, their arms trembled.

The aftermath of Lucien’s Land Acquisition skill was still there and wherever he walked—

The void around him twisted slightly.

Shaaa....

The hunters around keenly felt the change and their hearts skipped a beat.

That young man’s presence suddenly felt so distant, as if looking at a being beyond this world, like...

Seeing a God.

The timid ones hurriedly lowered their eyes, unable to look into Lucien’s eyes while the strong ones tensed their muscles, their face stern.

The unkept frail man with a poisonous gaze faltered for a split second, his tone softened.

"This...young master. You had just destroyed our dungeon, doesn’t that make you a sinner?"

A familiar sour and bitter sll wafted from the fragile man.

He slled like the spider queen.

Lucien halted just a ter away from the fragile man with Lurenzo following behind, his head lowered to his neck.

"It’s never your dungeon."

The fragile man’s temple twitched and the sour, bitter sll intensified.

[19:30]

"Young master, don’t be unreasonable. You don’t have any business destroying our source of inco like that, cough."

The fragile man coughed, black blood stained his palm, his face turned even paler than before, yet his presence felt even more sinister.

"? Unreasonable? Funny."

Lucien said as he walked past the young man without looking back even for a mont, his back leisure and resolute.

"It’s just an F-rank spider dungeon. Why so noisy."

The fragile man looked at Lucien’s disappearing figure, his eyes dark and unreadable.

Brother Yong, who was silent all this ti, finally spoke, his voice trembling slightly.

"O-onous, what’s the plan?"

Onous paused for a split second, as if thinking about sothing.

In that split second, Lucien, who was walking calmly out of the camp, parting the path everywhere he went, silently clicked the [Summon Native] button on Sli Dungeon’s managent panel but then...

BZZT! [You can’t summon the native outside of your main dungeon’s range!]

Damn. Brute force and swarm tactic doesn’t work!

In the end...run— retreat is the best tactic.

Lucien suddenly grabbed Lurenzo’s wrists.

Before Lurenzo could even scream in shock, Lucien whispered.

"Don’t speak. Just move."

Then, he imagined a house covering his body, Mumu and Lurenzo, all three at once.

Swish!

DING! [The Landlord Is Not Here (Uncommon)]

[Estimated skill recovery ti: 1 hour]

[Estimated skill duration: 30 minutes]

[Warning! Too many living beings inside the house!]

[Skill duration is reduced: 15 minutes]

Lucien held his breath, he was waiting.

His body started to disappear starting from his legs, slowly climbing up to his waist.

The hunters around quickly noticed and they subconsciously scread,

"Ah! That guy used an invisibility skill!"

Onous, who was weighing whether to chase or not, imdiately coughed hard, his face turned a shade darker.

"Cough! Cough! That! Bastard!!"

A green mist burst out of his body and the other hunters subconsciously retreated, covering their mouth and noses with trembling hands.

"Chase!"

Onous shrieked in a hoarse voice, his blackened fingers pointed at Lucien’s disappearing spot.

"Chase them!!"

The hunters paused for a few seconds before they shouted in unison,

"Yes, guild master!"

In that instant, the hunters bolted towards Lucien’s disappearing spot.

Soone among the hunters activated their skill.

"Tracker! On!"

A bright red arrow imdiately appeared, swaying erratically in the air.

Woongggg...
