Dumped A Scumbag At The Altar For A One Night Stand With A Billionaire Chapter 239: Wipe Off His Memories
The colorful lights flickered repeatedly inside the bar, loud music booming so it was hard to hear anything else.
Natalia downed another glass of a strong cocktail while sitting on a stool by the bar. Her eyes already looked hazy, and she could feel she was getting quite drunk, but she didn’t care.
"One more glass, please," she said to the bartender, who wasn’t surprised she asked, since this was almost the tenth ti she was requesting "one more glass."
Once again, he made her another drink as she asked. He didn’t mind doing his job, but sotis people got too drunk and created a scene, making them lose custors, so he kindly reminded her while handing her the glass,
"Ma’am, please rember not to get too drunk. If you want, please contact a friend or relative or a loved one to co get you."
Natalia took the glass, pouting at his words. After taking a sip, she said, "Friend? My best friend isn’t here, she already left the city, I can’t call her. Relatives? I don’t have any, at least none that are close. And as for a loved one, well, I don’t have any, so if I pass out, you’ll just have to let stay here." Though she sounded playful, there was bitterness in her voice, as if she was feeling incredibly lonely.
The bartender continued what he was doing, thinking she was just having a drunken stupor and spouting random words. This wasn’t the first ti he’d seen drunk people ramble, so he didn’t pay her any attention.
Natalia sighed then downed the whole drink again. She felt a burn down her throat and scrunched her face a bit, then looked up at the stage where a lot of people were currently swaying on the dance floor.
She sighed again. "I really miss Celine... had she been here, she’d have had a lot of things to say to cheer up," Natalia mumbled to herself.
She rembered when they were still young, they would go hang out at clubs like these and let loose, dancing crazily and letting all their worries go.
Though Natalia had made the decision to let Peter go after coming to completely realize her suspicions—that he had never truly loved her even though he was currently claiming to—because in true love, it wasn’t easy to suddenly fall in or out of love, and it certainly wasn’t possible to love two people at once.
Though she had finally decided to let go of him and completely forget about him, actually doing it still saddened her. For a person she’d loved and held on to for three years, finally letting go and forgetting everything still hurt her. But after tonight, she would make sure she completely wiped away the mories of soone called Peter Ramford.
Natalia got up staggeringly from her seat and headed towards the dance floor. Without a care in the world, she danced and swayed to the tunes of the music. Ti passed by without her realizing it, the music changed repeatedly. She was tired, but she kept dancing until she suddenly began to feel cramped. That was when Natalia realized a group of n had begun crowding all around her.
"Hey sexy ass!" a red-haired guy trying to grope her from behind called out in a provoking voice. From the harsh sll of alcohol that assaulted her nose, Natalia could tell he was drunk, but he wasn’t the only one hanging around her at the mont.
Natalia knew this was exactly the kind of situation where girls were often abused or taken advantage of. The girls would be drunk on the dance floor, and so n would try to take advantage of them. Perhaps in a drunk state, she wouldn’t be in her right senses and wouldn’t be able to put up resistance. Though Natalia was drunk, she wasn’t stupid enough or so inebriated that she’d lose her senses.
Natalia stopped dancing, ignoring the n giving her suggestive glances and lewd looks. She walked away from the dance floor. As for that red-haired jerk saying such lewd words to her, he should consider himself lucky she had drunk quite a bit, otherwise she would have definitely taught him a lesson.
Natalia headed to her seat and picked up her bag and jacket. But she was just about to turn around and leave when she felt a painful headache, her vision becoming slightly dizzy. Natalia stopped walking, clutching her head until her vision cleared and the headache eased a little. She opened her eyes and was about to resu walking when soone suddenly barred her way. Looking up, she realized it was that red-haired guy again.
"And where are you going, sweetie? Can’t you tell I’m into you? Why’d you walk out on like that, huh?" he asked, stepping towards her, but Natalia took a step back.
"Excuse , I have to leave," she said, trying to walk past him, but he raised his hand, stopping her.
"Hey, I’m talking to you, girl! Don’t walk out on !" he said in an incredibly arrogant manner.
"I said I have to go. If you continue standing in my way, I’ll have no choice but to call the cops," Natalia threatened. She had no ti to stay and ss around with so random punk.
Hearing her threat, the red-haired guy scoffed as if he found her words very funny, but later took a step aside, doing an exaggerated bow.
"Oh, I apologize then. Please be on your way."
Natalia felt like there was a hint of mockery in his words, but she didn’t bother. Since he had moved out of her way, she didn’t hesitate and walked past him, heading towards the entrance.
But she had only just almost reached the entrance when another guy ca to block her way. She recognized him as one of the n who had been crowding her on the dance floor earlier. Natalia frowned, feeling a bad premonition.
"Excuse , could you get out of the way, please?" she asked the man politely.
But a laugh suddenly ca from behind her. Turning around, she saw the red-haired guy along with a few other n approaching her.
"Did you think you could just leave like that when I’ve set my sights on you?"
"And who are you to stop from leaving if I want to?" Natalia retorted. Though she was internally wary seeing all the burly n around him, seeming to be his lackeys—including the one barring her road—she still kept a calm and steady expression.
"Heh! Don’t tell you don’t know who I am. Even threatening to call the cops, do you think I’m afraid of those losers? Go on, call them. Let’s see if they dare do anything to ."
Shaking her head and not in the mood to bother with a few rascals, Natalia uttered, "You all seem to be out of your minds. Let through, or I assure you you’ll regret it."
She had a splitting headache at the mont and really couldn’t keep wasting ti talking to them anymore.
"Oh, you’re still playing hard to get, eh? Let tell you, when I, Zane Andrews, want a woman, she has no right to refuse ." He used a stupid arrogant tone that almost made Natalia roll her eyes. Then he said to his n, "All of you, get her to the room. Let’s see if she dares continue to remain arrogant."
The n didn’t hesitate to surround her.
"What are you doing? Don’t touch !" she protested, but before she knew it, her arms were grabbed and the n began pulling her away.
"Let go! I said let go!" she scread and tried to struggle, but to no avail. Their hold on her was quite tight as they dragged her towards the private rooms in the bar. In the bustling surroundings, no one seed to care about a woman being taken against her will, or perhaps they just didn’t dare say anything knowing the identity of the red-haired guy.
Natalia felt despair engulf her. She was quite drunk at the mont and couldn’t fight back. She could only struggle fruitlessly as she was dragged into a room.
