ru watched everything with evident excitent. The laws were guiding them straight through the underworld at an incredible speed. After an hour of traveling, they approached sothing that looked like a gigantic, colorful ring.
"Dad, what’s that?" she asked curiously, leaning on their shoulder.
Bruno explained calmly. At the center, there was a black hole, where not even light could escape. The ring around it was what remained of several stars and planets that the black hole was devouring. He explained that there was a limit to how much the black hole could absorb at once, and the rest stayed orbiting for a while before being consud. Eventually, everything would vanish—unless sothing new fell in, of course.
They were taken straight to the center of the ring. The mont they entered the spatial distortion, most of the celestial runes moved into their bodies. All the Qi and laws they possessed were drained as the celestial runes fixed themselves onto their bodies, sealing almost everything within them.
In no ti, they found themselves inside a new universe. However, the few celestial runes remaining guided them to a specific point far away.
They arrived at a planet almost devoid of forests and water, covered in a vast desert. It looked unremarkable, like sothing that could be ignored anywhere else. But in this universe with no Qi, nearly everything had to be similar.
The landing was smooth, and as soon as they touched down, the runes vanished. They were in a wilderness, in the middle of what seed like an endless desert. There was no sign of civilization or even wild beasts for miles around.

As they read, ru, curious, fixed her big, round eyes on them. Noticing this, Alm and Bruno began reading aloud to her. She already knew about the system through her mother and understood they were now on an important mission. When they finished, Bruno added:
"The heroes must have suspected sothing and investigated. However, this place is insignificant, and planets falling into black holes aren’t that uncommon. It could’ve all been just coincidence, and, as the system said, it wouldn’t last long before disappearing. So, they probably took a quick look and, with their arrogance, ignored it. As for the laws ntioned, they must be used by the inhabitants here. Most likely, the strongest powers in this universe possess them. Let’s investigate a bit, and then we’ll have to convince them to hand them over... hopefully not by force. We’ll try to be civilized."
ru nodded excitedly, eager to see everything. Alm and Bruno activated their Yin and Yang tattoos and instructed ru to do the sa.
They quickly noticed that, while they could use the tattoos, their level was significantly reduced, as if limited to the first two levels. Even so, the tattoos could easily absorb the laws of this universe, transforming them into Qi.
The whale sighed. With that, even if sothing happened, ru would be able to fight and would hardly be defeated by the inhabitants here. After all, they only used laws, and ru could dominate them, making her nearly invincible. In this universe, this ten-year-old girl was like an unstoppable and terrifying deity.
Without delay, ru clung to his neck, and the whale started running, using the desert’s earth laws to boost his speed. He ran for an entire day without the scenery changing. It was just sand.
At night, he stopped so ru could sleep a little. She didn’t need to—without Qi or laws, the effects of her divine cultivation were still present. But it was good for her to relax and sleep to grow up healthy. The days passed with a sense of exploration and tranquility between them.
After six days and nights, they finally spotted so forms of life. However, they weren’t human—only wild beasts. In this place without Qi, the superior physical strength of beasts seed to be the most predominant form of power.
Although there were reasonably strong laws, on the planet they were on, they were scarce and hardly usable for common beings. Not even the beasts could grow significantly here.
Knowing this, they approached the beasts, which resembled yellowish wolves. These creatures survived by hunting other beasts. Due to the universe’s laws, natural life still managed to create herbs and other precious resources, allowing the beasts to grow stronger by consuming them.
Because of this, all the beasts were constantly moving, searching for these treasures or other creatures that had consud them, to then devour them and absorb part of their gains.
The whale calmly explained all this to ru: "That’s how life works in the beast world. Don’t judge it as good or bad. Humans like to live differently, but they can be far worse and more cruel. There are always good and bad in every race. Everyone has their own way of seeing the world and surviving."
ru nodded, and that was the mont the wolves noticed the two of them, quickly moving to surround them from all directions.
"Dad, can I try?" ru asked excitedly.
The whale nodded, unconcerned. ru jumped off his back, smiling as her tattoos pulsed on her fists. Her eyes lit up like brown beacons, embodying the elent of earth.
"Obey!"
*BOOM!*
The ground in a vast area opened up as if answering a divine call. The hundred fierce wolves, each several ters tall, widened their eyes as chains made of earth, harder than steel, suddenly erged.
ru manipulated the earth effortlessly with her Behemoth bloodline, sealing all of them with ease while giggling playfully.
Alm and Bruno watched with satisfaction, then approached the largest wolf—the leader. After a direct conversation with the animal’s soul, they gathered valuable information and used its mories to create a map.
ru waved at the "puppies," who were about ten ters tall, releasing them. Imdiately, they turned and ran as far as they could, utterly panicked.
Father and daughter continued traveling for an entire month, encountering various other beasts and gathering more information.
They discovered that the place they were in used to be a planet belonging to a great clan in the universe, destroyed just a few years ago. Everyone who wasn’t a beast and part of the clan had fought in a war and died, leaving behind ruins on the other side of the planet. Once everything ended, the planet’s treasures and valuable items were looted countless tis, leaving nothing useful behind.
Because the planet had once housed a great clan, there were beasts with vast knowledge about the universe as a whole.
Currently, there were seven clans that dominated the universe. One of them was the Infinite Loyalty Clan, also known as the greatest rchants in the universe, offering services across all galaxies. They possessed the knowledge and power to use inscriptions and transport people throughout the universe on flying ships.
This service was incredibly lucrative, especially in a universe where people couldn’t fly or use high-level spatial laws. When the whale asked more about it, they learned that the clan’s flying ship stopped on this planet once a year to take qualified individuals to the clan’s main planet.
If you had resources, you could be accepted into the main planet and live there. Since the clan specialized in comrce, as long as you were good at business and accumulated wealth, you could earn a place. However, the cost was terrifyingly high.
Alm and Bruno had the confidence to travel through space alone, using their tattoos to navigate. But that could take years. ru was very young, and they didn’t want Ruri to see her again only years later, fully grown.
When they found out the flying ship would arrive in a week, they were sure Heaven’s Will had directed them to this planet because of it.
An older beast told them so people without resources tried to travel on ships from smaller clans, but many died before reaching their destinations. In space, there were demons that hunted these ships, devouring their crew.
It was similar to what beasts did to evolve on planets. However, for beings to use ships, they needed to be powerful. And even though demons rarely encountered a flying ship, the profit made it worth the risk. Since the ships’ speed was quite slow, this danger beca a reality; flying through space was incredibly perilous and deadly in this universe.
In the world of common cultivation, there were vast differences in power levels. Facing soone impossible to beat was much easier since even a difference of one realm was considered insurmountable.
But in this place without Qi, the difference in individual power was minor. People were divided into three types: Commoners, Nobles, and Kings, all classified into levels from one to nine.
Even a Commoner could fight a King and, with luck, win, although it was rare. Power depended on the level of mastery over the laws. Cultivation revolved around creating a low-level internal rune, connecting to the environnt’s laws. In the end, anyone could pose a significant threat.
When asked about the most commonly used currency in the universe, the ancient beast showed them a small white crystal.
He explained there were two types: white and black. These were crystals of pure Yin or Yang. Since nearly everyone cultivated the five basic laws, these crystals with pure elents were highly valued as currency.
ru got excited, and then they began digging together, using the Behemoth bloodline in different directions. Soon, a lighthearted competition started between father and daughter to see who could find more crystals.
In six days, they accumulated an impressive amount of both types of crystals.
Finally, on the day of departure, they headed to the spot where the flying ship always landed on the planet. There, they observed other people scouting the area and waiting.
Since the planet had once been ho to a destroyed great clan, it was rare for the current inhabitants to board the ship. Still, it remained a stop in this galaxy, and people from other places ca yearly to board it.
The two approached, and when they said they wanted to board, they were imdiately guided by soone, though the guiding service cost them one crystal.
They paid without hesitation, and the guide led them, explaining various things along the way. The information was valuable. The ship was enormous, and learning about its inscriptions and details proved useful. In the end, they paid two hundred crystals as a fee to stay on board.
As soon as the guide left them, a group of shady faces turned their way. ’Here we go…’ Bruno thought.
