The whale felt the firm grip of Rehvka on its neck and Ruri on its hand. At the sa ti, Ambry and Kisala stepped back behind it, standing very close, almost touching. They all instinctively leaned on it, while the others just tightened their weapons and looked seriously at the demoness. None of them lost their will to fight, trusting that the one guiding them would get them out of there.
Alm and Bruno noticed the dire situation they were all in. They were completely bloodied, with deep wounds all over their bodies. The blades and spatial power they had faced would be considered a true suicide in the eyes of any cultivator, given the group’s current cultivation level.
Ruri hadn’t had ti to properly set up the spatial formation, so everything was done brutally, practically exploding in Qi to break through space. It was a desperate move, where the chances of success upon arrival were less than 50%.
The whale and Corin absorbed nearly two-thirds of the power from the spatial blades to defend them; for this, all the power of faith was burned to regenerate them. The others used all their defenses and managed to survive with almost lethal injuries. Now, Alm and Bruno didn’t have the power of faith to heal their allies.
Everyone was severely injured, drained of Qi and resources. To top it off, they were surrounded by enemies, all at the peak of the divine realm.
’Finally, a bit of luck. This branch doesn’t live on a planet, but in a separate world sowhere,’ Bruno said, breathing a sigh of relief.
Everyone in the group took a deep breath until they looked at the whale. Then they saw it just staring at the demoness in front of it with a villainous smile. It lasted a second, and she spoke maliciously.
"Hehehe, who would’ve thought that after so much failure, you would co straight to ," the demoness spoke dryly, her eyes gleaming with bloodthirsty intent. "No matter how you got here, you’ll never leave alive. I’ll make sure none of you can die."
"Hahaha." The whale laughed sarcastically. "I’ve already destroyed a branch of bastards before... now I’ve co personally and brought more people to have fun with . I heard you wanted to invite , ca at a good ti, I needed to train them and get so extra resources. I’ll accept your kindness, I hope you don’t disappoint ."
The whale’s words resonated like a malevolent and sinister demon, its entire figure emanating a black aura, the embodint of a villain about to spill much blood.
The demoness instinctively trembled at that, but at the sa ti, all of the whale’s allies forgot to breathe. It was as if a huge stone had been lifted from their hearts. To the others, that feeling from the whale was sothing nefarious, but to them, there was only confidence and admiration. The young Feys, who had never felt this before, quickly looked at it with shining eyes.
"Accept," Alm and Bruno ntally responded to the system.
It took just a second, and the entire separate world froze in ti. Alm and Bruno saw the environnt covered with endless spatial runes coming directly from the Heaven’s Will.
Previously, when they were in an ascending world, the entire planet was frozen in ti so they could proceed to the main mission. Alm and Bruno had been certain from the first ti that this was only possible because they were far from the Queen. In the divine realm, if sothing similar happened, a massive disturbance would occur, and even cultivators at the peak of the divine realm would feel it.
Now, in the divine realm, they wouldn’t have that benefit anymore; when they left, life would continue. But luckily, they were in a separate world. And the Heaven’s Will didn’t harm them, freezing everything inside. Probably all connections with the outside world were blocked, and they could co and go freely.
Then, their consciousness faded away.

Alm and Bruno’s consciousness returned as they slowly opened their "eyes," feeling a strange energy pulsating around them. When they finally focused, they were confronted with a spectacle of untad nature. The air was saturated with electricity, sparks and bursts of light stretching for endless miles, creating a landscape that oscillated between srizing beauty and deadly danger.
They were in a world covered by a sea of multicolored lightning and thunderstorms, as if the celestial lightning itself had been shattered into millions of fragnts, engulfing a region of cosmic proportions.
The lightning bolts were imnse, snaking through the sky with the majesty of colossal dragons. Each lightning strike released a deafening sound, a roar reverberating through the environnt with primal and wild force. Everything around emanated a sense of disorder, yet at the sa ti a chaotic harmony, as if it were inscribed in the very celestial laws to exist, where existence itself seed at the rcy of the brute and wild force of the elents.
[Main mission initiated]
[Find the Primordial Seed, and create the Genesis Fruit.]
[Reward 01: 70 upgrade points.]
[Reward 02: 30 Celestial Points.]
[Reward 03: Spirit Fusion Realm cultivation unlocked.]
Alm and Bruno quickly read the green screen. Even before thinking about reading the summary, they felt their "new body" sowhat dazed. It gave them a very familiar feeling: an imnse Yin of death and karma from millions of dead lives emanated from them.
But, of course, it wasn’t a conventional body. They felt a strange rigidity enveloping their entire body. Their movents were limited, as if they were confined within sothing heavy and solid.
’This... have we beco a Living Armour?’ Bruno concluded quickly. ’Well, it’s been worse... damn, I just cursed us.’
Alm snorted, observing himself. There was an unknown immortal core to them, and they were placed as the spirit of this armor. This place full of lightning had been responsible for the "birth" of the spirit. The armor must have been bathed in these lightning bolts for thousands of years, similar to the weapon in which Fides’ spirit was born in the abyss. (Chapter 255)
Their body was large enough to cover the waist to the neck of a tall, strong human. The structure was composed of thousands of small interconnected scales, forming an intricate and complex mosaic. Upon closer inspection, they realized these scales were not made of tal, as would be expected from ordinary armor. Instead, each scale was a small black stone, charged with intense and disturbing energy; it was a dense resentnt and karma emanated from each stone. Added to all this, throughout the armor, a powerful soul power naturally existed.
Suddenly, a wave of understanding flooded their minds. ’Millions of souls were refined into this armor to give it power. Each primordial stone scale was actually the core body of a newly born golem that had been killed, sacrificed to form this sinister and dark creation,’ Alm concluded.
Bruno felt a deep fury. The armor was a monunt of sacrifices, a physical manifestation of tornted souls and lost lives. Every inch of this "new body" was a reminder of death.
The small primordial stone of a newly born golem was a distinct mineral, with hardness close to obsidian. However, it was sothing very small. Alm and Bruno, when they were ruthless villains, even thought about creating a weapon or armor with it, but they gave up. It was difficult to find a newly born golem, and given its size, they would have to find thousands. That was the excuse they gave themselves at the ti; but in reality they didn’t want to do that, they still had a minimum of good sense.
"Finally, HAHAHAHAHA!" A voice sounded excited, approaching the Living Armour.
Alm and Bruno focused in the direction of the voice. There, they saw a tall, muscular human with a wild face. Bruno stared at him, and an infinite killing intent flowed through him; he made this armor, and he deserved to die in the worst way possible.
The human felt imnse pressure and stopped his steps, widening his eyes. "Oh? What imnse dark power... it’s perfect, she’ll love it, hahahaha."
Bruno took a deep breath and cald down. For the mission objective, the man in front of him seed to have nothing to do with it... or maybe he did, but it didn’t matter. He wouldn’t ally himself with him, and he would kill him, no matter what problems arose from it.
They were still in the midst of that sea of lightning, but the physical body of the human and the armor were powerful enough to not care about it. The human approached and grabbed the armor.
He lightly analyzed it and felt nothing special. He could clearly see that in the immortal core there was a soul presence and he was satisfied. He didn’t hesitate and put the armor on the body. Then he used his soul to put a mark of dominion on the core... and imdiately felt solid and inevitable death over his head.
"What the hell?"
Crack!
All his soul imdiately exploded into infinite pieces. Nothing was left of him, and Bruno had no rcy. Indeed, only dying completely was too little for soone who refined and tortured millions of souls, and killed thousands of golems that could hardly think.
Even they, in the past, had a limit. They just killed and refined life; souls were refined or destroyed and ca back to reincarnate. But that bastard destroyed them completely, now he received similar treatnt; and unfortunately for him, Bruno didn’t have the will to torture him until he paid completely.
Then, a fragnt of their soul dominated the body. They couldn’t leave the immortal core of the armor, but they dominated the human body easily. They couldn’t go out like that as an armor, so they would do the things most easily.
They read all the mories of his body calmly. After a few minutes, Alm waved, and a golden rune shone on the human’s forehead. He confird it and snorted coldly.
This human was a companion of a heroine from another universe. And surprisingly, the queen gave a mission to the heroine and her companions. They would have to go to a terrifying and dangerous place, and this place did not remain in this universe, but in the underworld.
