A week slowly passed within the city until Almin finally managed to create the first batch of the Nine Heavens Pill. The whale received the news and examined them carefully.
There were only two rings in each of the four pills he made. The level would be considered below average among the alchemists of this very planet; but the difficulty level of this pill was sothing that even Almin’s master would have difficulty making just one of them.
Alm and Bruno felt the nine elents of the Nine Star Tree. The level of these elents was initially low, but coming from the sa source, they had a subtle connection, which made Almin’s difficult work easier.

There was a spatial connection with the divine world and it sucked everything in; it would remain open for the equivalent ti of the energy given. The Qi that entered during this ti would be trapped in the closed environnt for cultivators to absorb, then it would return to normal.
Unlike the channel they could manipulate with just their soul; this chanical one required the three powers of life contained in the crystals, in equal amounts. Alm and Bruno could manipulate and repeat this without the crystals, but the vital energy was too valuable to burn like this. But... this still seed like a perfect opportunity for them.
The whale removed all four Nine Heavens Pills. There were infinite different types of pills, so to be ingested, others to attack, etc. These pills were a type of formation connected by their natural ingredients. It was an extrely ticulous and complex work to make them. With their tattoos fully lit up, they poured Qi into the pills and they lit up, burning with their effect; they were made to be used in this way.
Suddenly, a thunderous sound echoed above. Alm and Rehvka imdiately felt their bodies vibrate and their muscles grow heavy. Wide smiles appeared on their faces; all the work was worth it; they felt as if they had been plunged into the depths of the sea. There was so much Qi around them that it beca harder to move and breathe.
The four pills pulsed incessantly. They attracted more and more Qi from the divine world uncontrollably. These pills had a peculiar effect that even the powerful families would find valuable; but there shouldn’t be such a high and extre altitude, and no one could replicate what was happening there.
The Yin and Yang tattoos were being pushed to the limit to manipulate and enhance everything. The two mastered the elents of the pill and amplified their capabilities; the level of efficiency multiplied several tis creating this result. Even Alm and Bruno felt shaken by how good it was. If soone from the families saw this event, even a war between the four would happen for the dispute of this treasure.
Unfortunately, it took only ten minutes for the pills to lose their energy and everything to end. Alm and Bruno sealed the world, and felt all that dense Qi around them like a gentle mist.
"Rehvka, you need it the most. Absorb everything until you level up." The whale spoke calmly, and she nodded without questioning.
The whale touched her head and his tattoos worked like a black hole swallowing everything around and pouring it perfectly into her. They aided her throughout the process, leaving everything perfect.
Alm watched everything empty out in seconds... the whale only withdrew his hand when half of everything was gone. Then a snap sounded from her body, finally she reached the first level of the Spirit Fusion Realm. Now all her Qi would stay stable within her body, making its use easier.
Rehvka and Ruri currently had an extre deficiency in vital energy. Almin had this problem too, but it was nothing compared to theirs currently. The whale used the celestial power of the heavens to rebuild Ruri’s body; her body was so perfect that not even the families could notice it in the short term. As she was receiving resources from the family, she would surpass levels and realms and gain more vital energy; soon this problem would not affect her.
Rehvka was a little better off than Ruri, but her cultivation was very high and difficult to raise. The whale calculated that if she didn’t advance three levels in six months, her body would start to wither, affecting her power rapidly. That’s why she was the priority in using what they would gain; this ti it was only half, but the quantity would multiply, and they would need much more.
The whale turned to Almin, and he nodded, sitting down. Because of the array, Almin received a good amount of Qi coming from Rehvka. Soon, he was left with only 5% of the remaining Qi and broke through a level. Now he was at the third level of the Body Destruction Realm.
All his Qi began to leak, and his reconstruction would happen again. He was already prepared with nurous pills. The whale enclosed him in a construction of earth covering him, so it was finally his turn.
They took all the remaining 45%. Thanks to what ca from Rehvka through the array, and them also taking everything that already existed in that world before, it was by a very small margin that they didn’t succeed, but in the end, they broke through a level. Now they were at the second level of the Elental Condensation Realm.
Within the world of the four families, the formation separated them perfectly as if they were really very distant. Alm and Bruno couldn’t even sense Corin, Ruri, and Runula through the array; hence, they wouldn’t receive any Qi and wouldn’t affect their cultivation.
In six hours, Almin finished rebuilding himself; the pills made with the Yang herbs they harvested in the secret continent helped a lot. His body now emitted a natural warmth and beca much more compatible with the laws of fire. This would help him both in controlling the fla to make pills and in battles.
So, they returned to the city, all three extrely excited to return to that dangerous place. The benefits were extre, with just a dozen beasts and four pills. The next ti would be much more.
Thea and Almin focused on preparing themselves; in a few days, they would depart. The whale went to the castle; when they entered the central room, the whale’s eyes moved naturally, searching for sothing... the next second, they found themselves searching for a person who was no longer close. That day marked six months since Ruri left; the two sighed, now it was as if she was part of them, and they deeply missed her without realizing.

The next day, as if Ruri had received their call, a portal appeared above the city, with Corin and Ruri returning to visit them. Loeus had said that the whale was in the city, and the two demanded a day of rest.
The whale opened its eyes in the castle, feeling their arrivals through the array. But it didn’t even need to move. With the shadow step, Ruri ran at full speed and entered the castle without caring about anything else.
Upon entering the room and seeing him, she jumped into his arms without saying a word. The two stood there, embraced, feeling each other’s breath and warmth for several minutes. Ruri seed to want to rge with them, and her body trembled slightly. Until their eyes moved and t, and then they both moved in sync closer to each other.
They were imrsed in each other for quite so ti. Until the whale let go, and she reluctantly accepted; they could only stay for a single day.
Alm and Bruno analyzed her calmly; the family didn’t disappoint them. She quickly ascended several levels much faster than they did. Ruri was now at the fifth level of the Body Destruction Realm; Corin should be at the sa level.
Ruri was very close, and the whale gently touched her, sensing sothing strange. Ruri’s skin and body all felt very soft, as if she didn’t have bones. She reconstructed herself using the families’ resources and seed to have made so strange changes with it.
Before the whale could say anything, a mystical rune on Ruri’s forehead glowed. Soon, a white larva with an elongated cylindrical body erged on her shoulder. It was a ter long, with small hairs scattered across its body. Its head stood out, relatively large compared to the rest of its body.
The whale thought it would take years... but with the family’s resources, Coltia hatched from the egg, in her new body, very quickly. Then she spoke dryly. "I told her that this would affect her physical power. But she was already heading down this path; I just gave her a body-changing technique made for insects. This makes our body extrely resistant to physical impacts, but we lose other things in return."
Ruri looked at Coltia with a bit of anger. "You didn’t need to say it, it was my decision. I’m not a defensive fighter, and master will protect . With this, I’ll gain other unique properties..."

anwhile, the whale told about the secret continent. Ruri listened extrely attentively, with a look full of envy; she really wanted to be there. But soon, she noticed sothing missing in the story. Bruno interrupted the training with Rehvka, and Ruri didn’t miss that.
He was forced to tell his training thods, but to his surprise, Ruri didn’t get angry. She just sighed a little moved and spoke. "Sister really feels very bad for having a dead body... on the first day she arrived, when master went to do sothing in the castle. I had a serious conversation with her and found out about it."
Ruri paused thoughtfully and continued. "I questioned what she really thought of master. She said she never felt anything for n... but master was a bit different. Fortunately for , she never saw herself as a woman and never thought of anything strange from the start. Her whole being emanated sadness when she said she couldn’t have children... her body was cold and dead... both inside and out... she resented that deeply."
"In the end, she forced a smile and reassured ... the pain in that smile made feel really bad for a long ti. But... She got up slowly and left, now satisfied and almost skipping with joy.
’She’s very sensitive, isn’t she?’ Bruno said a little dazed. ’Well, that’s useful. Since she can’t endure much, we can give her crumbs little by little to keep her satisfied,’ Bruno added, but even he didn’t believe they could just give crumbs for long.
