The golem’s black arm, serving as its avatar, glead brightly. A black blade ford, a sword capable of reaping all life. The sovereign demon unleashed a wave of death energy that engulfed the three. The whale felt the space behind it freeze and push it forward.
The divine soul of the whale resonated. Under this powerful force, the two won imdiately spewed blood uncontrollably. Their skins began to crack, covered in blood as if they were about to explode at any mont.
The whale’s expression changed instantly. Suddenly, the sovereign demon’s avatar felt the energy of the world disappear around it. A suffocating feeling struck that fragnt of soul and will controlling the avatar.
The world’s karma seed to fall upon the planet, the skies darkened completely, no light could exist before it. The demon widened its eyes upon seeing the tattoos on the whale’s fist pulsating.
Suddenly, the world, previously under the dominion of this divine being adored by all, was turned upside down and reversed. It was no longer an omnipotent god there. An existence born of chaos, seeming to desire to devour all life and existence, dislodged any conviction and faith. Its mind trembled violently, as if its forces were being sucked by a malevolent will.
CRACK! CRACK!
The eyes of the whale and the demon t. He saw an abyss of existence between them. A malevolent being, to the point of calling it a demon would be a complint, opened its eyes to the world. It rely made a gentle move, and the two won quickly floated and clung to its back. Runula and Deryu were quickly saved by Ruri in her beast world.
"Co, you pathetic bastard."
The whale’s words echoed cold and barren. Suddenly, it withdrew a colossal weapon, whose weight made even space vibrate. Its surface was celestial blue, but a strange feeling afflicted the demon upon seeing it.
"That... this tal... what the hell is this?" he muttered, shocked.
The moon crystal, personally crafted by the behemoth, was undoubtedly heavy but had a close connection with the whale and its bloodline. Even without energy, the inner earth rune still pulsated vigorously with the crystal. Combined with the complete fusion with the power of faith, sothing familiar yet strange, the demon couldn’t comprehend what he was feeling or seeing; it was profoundly abnormal.
The whale gripped the heavy sword. An apocalyptic aura erged around it, while a dark smile ford on its face. The true body of the sovereign demon, floating in the underworld, suddenly trembled in the void of space. That weapon had the power to affect and destroy him!
BOOM!
The demon reacted imdiately, guided by his primitive instinct for survival. All the power of his soul and everything he possessed was used without restraint; he descended, and the world trembled with him.
The whale watched with disdain. Suddenly, a figure moved on its back, between its shoulders. Its eyes and body were completely enveloped by endless violet power.
Two ethereal lotuses erged around the whale, one smaller covering it and another several tis larger and denser, forming a shield. Every drop of Qi and ntal energy was concentrated in them.
Fides moved slowly forward, and this simple movent made the whale bleed profusely and cough up blood uncontrollably; he definitely didn’t have the power to use this. It was at this mont that the sovereign demon realized sothing was wrong, but it was already too late. The whale roared, leaping upward.
BOOM!
The demon’s full strike collided with the whale. As a result, the void shattered, and divine light exploded.
The violet power seed to solidify, and when the avatar ca into contact with it, strange runes like vipers covered its body. The mind and soul of the sovereign demon vibrated, and he was shocked.
’This... is it dominating my mind?’ he thought incredulously. He only had a tiny fragnt of will and soul in the avatar, but that power was able to suppress it...
His power plumted drastically, and his energy beca unbalanced. But he kept advancing, reaching the second lotus. Then he saw the wicked smile on the whale; for so reason, he felt a bad on. He then attacked with all his might. Why was he only attacking such weak youths? Why was he doing this? How... how could they survive? Confused and strange thoughts passed quickly through his mind.
CRACK!
A clash with the massive heavy sword occurred. Suddenly, a burst of blood followed. The skin, muscles, and bones of the whale violently exploded. Its already injured body suffered an imasurable impact... but Fides blocked it only with his extrely tough and heavy body.
Suddenly, the blood ball was sent flying, shrouded in a red mist. On their backs, the two won trembled dazedly. At the last mont, they felt sothing: the whale used its life and energies to desperately direct all the impact directly onto itself. They only felt a tremor; it was as if a strong wind hit them, and there wasn’t even a scratch on them.
Despair overwheld them, but at the sa ti, a comforting feeling penetrated their minds. They flew like teors... but the won felt the heart of the whale still beating. He was still alive and transmitting that ssage.
The sovereign demon saw them flying, not understanding. How had the whale survived? What was he planning? He couldn’t escape in any way.
They flew in a very specific direction, then the celestial net approached within a few ters of them. Soon, a ntal ssage reached the confused demon’s mind.
’We’ll et again. Next ti, I’ll rip off your real head.’
At the sa ti, the whale turned to face the celestial net, which looked like chains of a prison sealing them. Its eyes glowed along with its forehead.
Imdiately, all the divine Qi that Alm and Bruno gained when they removed the runes from the seven towers in the abyss erged. Their runes of faith throbbed and absorbed the divine Qi. Bruno had only a few monts to reflect and be inspired; but he had so clear insights about it.
Now that their two souls rged again, their minds beca clear as day. It was as if only when they were complete could they articulate this perfectly.
The power of faith, coming from worshippers and believers, was palpable. They put their hopes and desires for protection from their god, but was it just that? No. They aspired to live free, protected by a divine shield. However, they also sought to wield the divine sword to strike when necessary.
Life was a fierce jungle. Living only defending and fleeing was not an option; it was necessary to fight, to kill when needed, to persist when necessary. Evil only existed when we allowed our minds to be contaminated. Everyone had the right to live, so whenever sothing tried to stop them, their blades should cut. Not to fight against the enemy, but to fight with it.
That was the essence of the power of faith. It might seem pure and devoid of offensive capabilities, but it was only one of its facets.
Alm and Bruno, now united, focused. In an instant, the divine Qi reshaped the rune of faith. This strange Qi could mold and form absolutely any law, energy, or thing that existed in the user’s imagination. Obviously, only a divine soul could manipulate it; this was a power of the immortal realms.
In the next mont, they were a ter away from the celestial net. Feeling the accelerated heartbeat of the two won, the inner rune of faith throbbed with a celestial power that instantly enveloped them.
’Faith is hope, and for hope to exist, everyone’s inner self must be cultivated like a sanctuary,’ they ntally whispered. Then their lips moved.
"Inner Sanctuary."
The warmth of the two disciples who fully trusted him, clinging to his body, made his mind shift and his power solidify. All the will cultivated through long and painful years of life blended with the will to save and help. A power of faith condensed, covering the whale and the won, expanding like flower petals swirling around. It was the manifestation of their will, united with the energy of faith.
As the flower petals spun, the space before them also twisted in unison. Then, the network made of faith energy presented a huge hole twisted by sacred energy.
"How is this possible?!" the demon couldn’t help but exclaim in shock at seeing this. Even with his experience and knowledge, he dared not believe what he saw. That actually possessed a terrible power capable of suppressing his faith energy.
"MASTER!"
Ruri shouted in alarm, as her master’s body and life energy were fading like a candle in the wind. His condition in every possible sense seed dreadful.
"Run!" The whale shouted to the two.
They snapped out of it and turned in the direction he was staring intently. There, they saw the spatial channel! The two jumped, realizing that he had indeed provoked the demon and managed to direct all the power to launch them exactly in that direction.
Alm and Bruno burned almost all their life energy and soul to create an aura preceding the Eclipsing Divinity. All to instill deep fear even in the true body of the demon. In the end, they would have to survive the impact and ensure that the two would be protected. They asked Ruri to use her ntal power to the fullest to lessen the power a bit, and she contributed a lot. But in the end, Fides was the one who endured directly, and his physical cultivation proved to be inconceivable, preventing him from exploding.
Ruri was without Qi, so Rehvka used everything she had given through the array. Another benefit they learned to use together. Ruri quickly depleted those reserves; the three disappeared as soon as they broke through the network. It was perfect. The demon’s next desperate attack only hit at this mont, but it was already too late.
On the other side, they found themselves again in the black tower within the abyss. Ruri quickly spat out a lot of blood. Then she used everything she had, and her four Seven-Color Supre Runes appeared surrounding the channel.
Her eyes bled, her whole body trembled... but the channel was closed the next second...
Now, a stellar distance separated that divine planet from this one. They were safe!
When Ruri threatened to faint, she was supported. Then, celestial power completely illuminated the entire black tower. Finally, they could use it again with everything, and it enveloped them, magically healing all their wounds.
It took a minute, then everything faded away. At that mont, Rehvka looked at her master and Ruri, completely stunned. Both were indifferent and perfectly healthy. They had climbed back from the abyss of hell to life. And now, everything was completely normal again, and the three perfect.
"It was so much fun, master!" Ruri spoke excitedly, and the whale smiled with a sigh.
