The desert that had remained completely sealed for almost a century trembled violently. Suddenly, the runes that covered everything cracked completely, and fissures spread like spider webs all around. It all happened in a matter of seconds until an explosive roar, capable of shaking the world, resounded violently.

The entire space vibrated, causing everyone below to imdiately stop, subrged in a terrifying tremor. It was as if they were in a river with wild waters, everything around was in complete chaos.
It took several seconds for everything to calm down, but imdiately, everyone felt a change that shook them. Ruri trembled, and her face dissolved into tears; just by breathing, she felt the Qi and the laws of the world close to her again. Looking up, she saw a hole several ters wide erging right above her. There, she saw what she could only see in her mories or distant dreams.
The body of the whale was cracked and bleeding. The formation created by a higher divine entity contained limitless power. Alm and Bruno had only opened a hole, and that was enough to cause a powerful shock, capable of severely injuring them. They dared not try to destroy the formation completely.
As soon as the opening appeared, everyone looked up. Then, the world changed before their eyes. Everything was imdiately covered by an infinite celestial blue. All the power of faith directed at the whale for almost a century remained accumulated and trapped there. Now, they rushed to their owner.
All the chained survivors looked up and saw the whale shining in the center of a celestial world. It beca the center of everything and everyone, power circulated around it and penetrated directly into the rune of faith. It was so much that it leaked into their ridians and their entire existence.
Suddenly, the whale began to emit its own sacred glow. Whether it was the inhabitants of the city or the mbers of the twelve families... everyone felt their hearts stop as they beheld what was unfolding before them.
Corin, Ruri, and everyone who fought until the last mont were already completely in tears. The whale descended slowly into the desert, bringing with it all the celestial power as if it were an extension of its existence.
Alm and Bruno watched and felt the entire situation below, alard. Their eyes and senses turned to a woman in black with a dry face and without that natural glow, looking at them. That was Ruri, without a doubt, but... they couldn’t even sense her soul, life force... or even her mind power.
The whale trembled, her condition was grave, very grave. With a nod, all the power of faith fell upon the world, directing itself to their allies. Everyone felt their bodies warm up; all their wounds and fears began to evaporate, only that being existed in their eyes.
Alm and Bruno could clearly see all the enemies around, there were thousands of cultivators at various levels of the Body Destruction Realm. But they focused on more than twenty cultivators at the elentary level of the Spirit Fusion Realm. However, only twelve were in perfect condition, exhibiting an aura much more powerful than the others.
The whale’s eyes changed, no longer reflecting the benignity of a protector, but overflowing with endless hatred. Alm and Bruno, now, were consud by a darkness that seed to erge from the very core of the universe.
All the cultivators of the twelve families, still stunned amidst the chaos, suddenly felt as if two eyes, beyond any demonic or evil description, opened and fixed their gaze on them. It was as if the weight of karma and the bloodthirsty aura, generated by the slaughter of an entire universe and all its life forms, had awakened in the world.
Alm and Bruno, after learning to use a bit of divine soul, even before reaching this universe, easily kept it hidden. Revealing it wouldn’t bring them any benefits. However, now, the entire planet and even a vast region covering countless ascending planets were subrged in this ocean of darkness.
The hatred of all lives, the lack of will, the despair... everything that the countless life forms felt in their final monts, was directed towards the nefarious villain who reaped them, thus creating their karma.
Now, this invisible terrifying wave could be felt by everyone; and the poor cultivators of the desert were experiencing it directly in their consciousnesses and souls, as if they were plunging into an abyss of tornt and endless despair.
No follower was affected; the power of faith that bound them welcod and protected them accordingly. The whale then turned gently and waved; the woman on the back of the Wyvern, who was completely frozen on the ground, floated.
Ruri opened her eyes wide and approached the whale without being able to blink. Her face was dry, without strength even to shed more tears. In two seconds, she was close, and Alm and Bruno were mind-blank, not knowing what to say.
Ruri looked into those eyes, and then her face curved into a smile that hadn’t been seen in almost a century. She simply threw herself and clung to them gently, without saying a word.
Both felt each other’s warmth... their soft breaths... then their beating hearts connected again in synchrony.
Alm and Bruno sighed... then, gently, they moved their arms and carried her onto their backs. It was a common place for her, and she promptly snuggled in, crossing her arms around their necks.
A soft murmur reached her ears. "Sleep for a bit, I’ll handle this quickly. Then, you’ll et so new people."
"Yes, master."
She closed her eyes... and drifted off gently... without further defenses or fears. She simply plunged into a deep sleep, sothing she didn’t rember when was the last ti she did... maybe she never did...
The whale turned to Corin and then to all who were chained up. Their bodies were completely healed.
"Good job."
Those two simple words resonated for everyone; their bodies trembled, and they clenched their fists tightly.
The whale then turned to the enemies, and just its gaze caused a disturbance in their souls. An indescribable terror hit them hard.
"Disappear."
The whale spoke dryly, and its eyes pulsated demonically. The Yin rune lit up to the limit, and the world plunged into darkness.
Alm and Bruno hadn’t realized it yet, but their inner runes were currently at a level beyond what a cultivator at the peak of the divine realm could achieve. All the Yin within them was activated, and Alm’s divine Yin soul rged with it in a fluid and natural synergy.
In the midst of that diabolic darkness, only two pairs of red eyes erged. The infernal laws were unleashed, and the three powers rged again. This was the last thing all the cultivators within the desert saw or felt.
They were all engulfed by the demonic flas, then all below evaporated as if they had never existed. Those were not the common demonic flas now. It seed to have rged with their karma and bloodthirsty aura, turning into sothing unique.
A smile appeared on Alm’s lips as he witnessed that surprise. At the sa ti, the entire body of the whale began to be restored by the power of faith... but those flas were no longer at the level of just burning them to death...
Alm felt his soul being torn apart and was surprised.
Bruno looked at Alm disappearing and acted quickly. The Duality of Shadows law advanced directly. The rune of that law trembled, and cracking sounds echoed... but after a second, they both breathed a sigh of relief, everything stopped.
The cost was temporarily losing his law... and Alm’s divine soul was 90% destroyed... those flas could not be asured.
"How interesting, I’ll call them karmic flas," Alm said lightly, unconcerned. They already had the thod to heal their souls, so they could do it later.
Everyone saw the whale calmly touch the ground. All the enemies were gone just like that... with a single move. None of them felt disbelief or were stunned; it seed normal and commonplace. They just couldn’t believe that round figure was before them again. He... he really ca back.
