Everyone at the ceremony jumped in shock when, imdiately after receiving the power, the new hero was suddenly caught by an elven figure covered in armor that erged from the void behind him.

Zaimo was about to advance imdiately, but the devilish voice in his mind stopped him. He then saw a subtle smile on Ximo’s lips. At the sa mont, the elven figure sensed sothing amiss and took a step back, but it was already too late.

BOOM!!!

An explosion of Qi resonated like a supernova, sweeping across the land and hurling the figure away. Suddenly, a vast area lit up, and it crashed against a barrier that seed like an impenetrable steel wall.

All the ordinary cultivators were thrown away, spitting blood. When they recovered and looked around, they saw a gigantic do with nurous pulsating runes trapping everyone inside. They quickly recognized these runes as the power of the city formation. Everything had been prepared in advance for this mont, and now that the power was activated, nothing could escape.

The weaker ones were gravely injured and remained there. As for the cultivators from the two clans, although wounded, they were fully equipped and prepared for battle. They looked around and realized before the dust settled that no dwarf was among them.

In the center of the location, Ximo appeared kneeling on the ground. His body was completely cracked, revealing even the bones through the fissures. There was hardly any blood or Qi left in him; everything had been consud and burned in exchange for maximum power.

He had used the incomplete Dao of Qi circulation thod; although he had only learned the basics, this thod could be fueled by any energy source beyond Qi. He burned through his entire bloodline, Qi, and even a bit of his own life. It was evident that the incomplete Dao was a suicidal thod to generate sudden and overwhelming power; hence it was flawed.

"Leader Ximo!"

Hundreds of dwarves gathered around Ximo with worried expressions. He, in turn, fixed his gaze ahead. Suddenly, sounds of tal colliding and breaking echoed.

The dust was dispersed with a powerful movent. Then, eighteen armored dwarves erged from above, quickly firing and attacking a single elven figure covered in a full suit of armor. Her body was adorned with runes, and turbines pulsed with a strange energy from her feet as she flew at surprising speed.

Crack! Crack!

The figure’s two arms were full-length blades, which she wielded like sabers. She faced the eighteen dwarves simultaneously and, although she showed no cultivation, seed to be at no disadvantage. However, it was clear she couldn’t escape the encirclent or distance herself, as each of the dwarves possessed a striking power that couldn’t be underestimated.

Everything unfolded within a sealed do, trapped by a gigantic formation. The emperor hovered in the air, surrounded by runes as he controlled the entire city formation, keeping the do sealed. As long as he was alive, no one inside could escape without his consent.

With the divine fairy trapped by the eighteen dwarves, other cultivators joined the siege, turning her into a cornered prey. The emperor was fully concentrated, everything seed perfect, but his instincts warned him that sothing was amiss.

It was at this mont that hundreds of humans and divine beasts entered the battle around the divine fairy. The eighteen dwarves now attacked with precision, while the others collectively surrounded and blocked.

"Kill!" The three clans were now united, facing one of their mortal enemies. They didn’t understand how they had co to this point, but this opportunity couldn’t be wasted.

A sea of hundreds of armored cultivators attacked the divine fairy from all sides, but she seed indifferent to it all. Soon, she made a gesture, and sothing strange manifested in the world, causing everyone to feel as if an electric current ran through their souls.

In the next instant, all the dwarves and those involved in the battle were frozen in mid-air. Their souls trembled, and they felt an invincible suppression. Strangely, however, half of the cultivators remained motionless, their eyes empty, as if possessed.

In a nearby corner, hidden from everyone’s eyes, Zaimo watched the elven figure with wide eyes. ’That’s soul power on the level of an elite divine cultivator,’ Bruno ntally murmured.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Strange sounds echoed all around, and Zaimo’s eyes turned to the cultivators of the three clans. The eighteen dwarves were fine; the sound was coming from the bodies of half of the other cultivators. Their armor was dismantling and reconstructing itself in the air.

Within seconds, they all fell to the ground completely lifeless, leaving only the pieces of their armor and weapons. Alm and Bruno were astonished to feel several small manifestations of soul power erging simultaneously. It was a tiny fraction of what the divine fairy had used, but all of it ca from the equipnt of those cultivators.

At the sa mont, the divine fairy turned to deliver a deadly blow to the frozen and defenseless eighteen dwarves. Zaimo acted imdiately, and with a step from him, space distorted. She turned to him, completely surprised.

A kitchen knife appeared in the dwarf’s hand. The two fragnts of the divine soul circulated inside his body. A third of his life force, ntal power, and soul were drawn.

The small blade in the dwarf’s hand sliced through the air, and the sky and earth seed to collapse with that movent. The divine fairy illuminated with all her power, an invincible soul power focused on the dwarf; suddenly her eyes blurred. But in the next millisecond, phistooge took over his body.

’Eternal Bond!’

The divine fairy roared, attacking with everything; the blade on her arm turned red, and the sll of blood emanated from it. Neither of them held back. This was not just a clash of power, but also a clash of souls. Unfortunately, Alm and Bruno only had a fragnt, so they could only manage to block.

BOOM!

Everyone heard an explosion that made the sky and earth tremble. A wave of cutting destruction covered all directions. Everyone clearly felt that only one side attacked and completely destroyed the other.

The suppression released everyone. When the space stabilized, several eyes turned to the dwarf hovering in the air. Everyone felt a subtle joy, but they saw that he was looking down at the ground tensely.

’That...’ Alm and Bruno murmured, stunned.

On the ground, dozens of tal parts were scattered. The two blades that were her arms, along with several other recognizable parts of her body, were twisted and several ters away; the divine fairy definitely couldn’t withstand their attack power, she should have exploded into a cloud of blood... but there was not a drop of blood...

Then, in the midst of the dust, a piece of a trunk connected to a head twisted with electrical sparks emanating to the sides. Quickly, her forehead pulsed, and several tallic parts floated together.

’A robot? What the hell...’ Alm said, surprised.

They felt that sothing strange existed in that head, but they didn’t have enough soul power to verify. They saw the parts coming together rapidly, and the helt covering the head was quite broken, dropping several tal pieces. Underneath, they saw a white and shiny skin, strangely natural.

Bruno observed doubtfully. ’Hm? Why a robotic head?’

Soon, the possessed dwarf turned to the side, feeling those hundreds of small soul powers. He felt the fluctuation in the laws and saw infinite chanical shapes with varied, indescribable forms floating around him. All those cultivator armors transford into that.

In their midst, sothing erged pointing at them. It was sothing cylindrical and tallic, easily recognizable to anyone who had lived on the earth.

’They’re weapons... not the sa as what we’ve seen used by the cultivators here... they use Qi and soul power together... and this shape is very, very familiar.’ The two thought simultaneously.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

They didn’t have ti to reason as a sea of gunfire covered them. With soul power combined with Qi, it was impossible to absorb that with the basic tattoos they had. If they could use the complete divine soul, it would be simple, but there was no such possibility.

’Damn it...’

Bruno muttered, but at the sa ti, he felt sothing that made his eyes shift to a deep hatred. Imdiately, the two soul fragnts in the dwarf’s body evaporated. Suddenly, on Zaimo’s forehead, a golden rune appeared and lit up.

Whoosh!

A golden domain erupted from within the dwarf’s body and expanded like a divine wind gust. Zaimo awakened his soul and smiled, completely imrsed in this frenzied and comforting feeling. All the shots entered the golden domain and evaporated as if they had never existed.

At the sa ti, Ximo floated radiating his hero’s presence; he was the center of everything. All eighteen dwarves were also covered in heroic power. Then, all the cultivators equally rose, imrsed in this power.

Everyone’s eyes changed, insanity and the heat of battle seized their bodies. Zaimo was the first to roar.

"THE GOLDEN GODDESS IS ON OUR SIDE!!! BURN THE HERETIC!!!"
