Alm was extrely serious and forced his mind to calm down, trying to think rationally. ’The system was given to us by the Heaven’s Will. There’s no possibility of an error... it seems like the Heaven’s Will had almost its entire capacity cut off.’
Bruno was stunned and imdiately tried to use every bit of remaining Qi in the inventory. Alm noticed his intentions and activated his tattoos in unison.
Breaking from the ninth level to the next realm was sothing that depended solely on individual understanding and a minimal amount of Qi. Therefore, if there were no restrictions, they could break through imdiately. They tried exactly that, but... obviously, all the Qi they used to break through dispersed completely, refusing to follow the path determined for the next realm.
’Fuck... we can’t break through the realm, no matter what we do. And the system is offline; we’re completely screwed.’ Bruno muttered dryly.
Alm sighed in disbelief and tried to reason. ’The signs were there. In the beginning, we always gained much more than the system points. All the chests contained useful things, and it seed like the heavens were directly manipulating our fate... everything flowed as if we stumbled upon what we needed, even when we didn’t know we needed it.’
Bruno took a deep breath, recalling everything. ’We ca to a planet full of the queen’s influence... we acquired a body with sothing hidden that only we can fully control without even knowing it. We quickly stumbled upon our brother who needed our help, in addition to all the other coincidences... everything just unfolded in front of us.’
’From so ti ago, everything changed, and things are happening completely out of our control; even before we entered the abyss. We only managed to co out alive without losing much due to our experience, and we thought it was just bad luck. But, adding those random rewards from the main quest, and this now...’ Alm murmured. (Chapter 209)
’Yes, the queen managed to dominate, if not 100%, almost that much of the Heaven’s Will. We are completely alone now,’ Bruno concluded, snorting. ’But without the system, we can’t cultivate... no, the Heaven’s Will must have left a way out.’
Alm nodded silently, and the two reflected deeply on everything they had experienced so far. Either they missed sothing... or what they needed was close to them, waiting for them to discover it.
’If nothing before was a coincidence, coming to the evil cultivators, being very close to the abyss opening must an sothing,’ Bruno thought aloud. ’There must be sothing here that the Heaven’s Will needs us to do...’
’It’s obvious that what is sealed in this formation is sothing important for the queen. But we are nowhere near being able to do anything with our current power.’ Alm replied coldly, then sothing crossed his mind. ’Maybe it’s not sothing with our power...’
Hours passed.
Then Bruno’s mind made so connections, reflecting on Alm’s last words. Soon, he suddenly jumped, speaking. ’Wait! The Divinestone clan!’
Alm nodded without understanding where he was going with this, so Bruno continued. ’That’s where everything began, there was a divine formation that created a bloody rune. And now we are almost certain it was ant to create a weapon with it,’
’Then we left with the intention of going to the evil cultivators... and precisely in the city we are heading to, one of them erged, and he was refining the city with his technique from the Bloodthirsty Light Sect. Everything was obviously going to be used for a weapon, and we knew it well,’

’In the last main quest, we were stuck inside a Cerberus. Then, we just had to thwart the plans of a hero. Realistically, if it were as easy to create a divine soul as the hero thought it to be, all universes would have people beyond the mortal realms at so point. That quest seed quite unnecessary to , unlike the other two where we saved the entire universe from the queen.’
Alm finally understood where he was getting at. ’So... the reason was simply to make us aware of the powers of the Cerberus. If we had joined the right sect, we would have found out about this earlier.’
Bruno nodded and continued. ’If we had joined the Bloodthirsty Light Sect, we would have co into contact with the abyss Cerberus, and it would have amounted to the sa thing sohow. But since that wasn’t the case, the pieces had to be moved.’
’Things connect partially. Between the mont we didn’t follow the plans, and the last main quest, we were sent to another place; that world of robots.’ Alm thought deeply. ’If you’re right, there must be so reason for that too; so the Cerberus... no, the underworld is one of the keys.’
Bruno said lightly. ’I think eting Vrix was one of the keys; he managed to interfere with the formation even though he was weak. If we have to do sothing with this formation, his thod must be correct. Everything was planned for us to learn this thod, from the mont we appeared in this universe.’
’So the world of robots must be the other important key...’ Alm then reflected deeply, and silence pervaded. Then, reviewing the mories of that quest in the world of robots, Alm snorted, speaking.
’That elf who beca an ergency hero... she clearly wasn’t prepared and didn’t have what it takes to receive that power. And with the queen’s influence acting directly, it ended up making her seem like a slave without any reasoning.’
Bruno listened without understanding. Then he rembered that elf who sacrificed her own soul even knowing it was a true and eternal death... all because of the queen’s control. In the end, Bruno saved her, and the mories of his wife, who was also forced to kill herself against her will, directly influenced him. He couldn’t see that and...!
’That... we, after seeing that, would certainly try to save her! We were manipulated!’ Bruno murmured, completely convinced that Alm was also moved at that ti but didn’t want to admit it.

’Almin would obviously develop his talent with our help and the system; then the queen would eventually activate the hero’s rune. The system even gave us the two techniques together to remove all influence from the queen.’
’So, the other key. Yes! It’s the Divine QI that the queen uses to awaken the hero’s rune.’ Bruno spoke excitedly.
The two focused entirely on these three things they found to be the key to everything. They were just assumptions. Maybe they were making logical leaps to believe in this. But the situation beca completely desperate, and they had to cling to anything.

A month passed, and then the ssage from the whale arrived in the spatial inventory. ’Vrix, give all the bloodline you possess.’
Vrix, who was having a hard ti training that soul, heard and, without any hesitation or questions, activated the runic seal. Soon, all the bloodline was withdrawn, and the whale moved it out quickly.
A sphere of black blood circled in front of the whale. ’Are you sure about this? We only have one shot. If we fail, we lose everything.’ Alm said ntally.
’Yes, it’s not just three keys. The fourth is us, the Yin and the Yang.’ Bruno said confidently.
Alm snorted and activated his Yin rune. All that blood trembled and moved to the palm where the tattoo was shining. Alm focused completely; the mories of when he was in the body of that Cerberus awakened his mind. Then, all that blood burned and evaporated.
In the next second... a small fissure in space appeared in front of the whale.
Alm sighed and activated all the QI from his ridians. Then, within that small fissure, half a dozen gray runes appeared; they were the laws of the underworld. Then, in less than a second, a stream of tens, then hundreds, flowed out continuously.
The spatial rune glowed on the whale’s forehead, and everything was placed in the inventory. In the third second, the fissure closed completely, and all the Cerberus’s bloodline was gone forever.
Bruno nodded, and his Yang rune lit up. Then, all the Divine QI that ca from Almin’s hero rune was withdrawn. Bruno was the one who manipulated the soul of the elf and sealed it inside the soul gem. That soul gem had within its interior a very specific law of that universe, and with it, it could absorb QI and laws, and even create consciousness and life over ti.
For sothing like this to generate life, not only the laws but the Yang had to be massively present. So Bruno put all his purest Yang; soon, the divine QI that could be shaped into anything transford. Quickly, Bruno created laws identical to the soul gem, and along with his Yang, the sa internal environnt of the soul gem was replicated.
A small, bright, ethereal sphere appeared in front of the whale. Then, Alm quickly withdrew all the runes from the underworld and thrust them directly into that sphere.
’Now!’ Bruno said, and at the sa ti, the two tattoos lit up.
The whale moved its eyes down, and there they saw the girl sleeping peacefully as if nothing were happening. Her tranquility and confidence as she hugged her body against the round belly of the whale made the two sigh.
Ruri was their Ultimate Fusion card. Soon, the Yin and the Yang rged again.
And with a gentle clap of both palms, the power of that mystical union flowed and pressed that bright sphere along with the hundreds of gray runes.
Alm and Bruno felt all their energies being sucked away at the sa ti... then... a multicolored glow appeared. And suddenly, all the elental laws within that infernal realm petrified.
Outside the realm of seas, all the laws of the abyss froze. Outside the abyss, outside the planet, throughout the universe. The laws froze.
Then, when the multicolored glow stabilized and faded, Alm and Bruno saw before their eyes sothing small, wriggling without a defined form.
’Is this really a celestial law?’ Bruno murmured. ’Did we create a new law... are we legitimately gods now?’
’No nonsense. We have to give it a form.’ Alm cut in dryly.
So, the two focused and manipulated that formless entity. In an instant, it tamorphosed, resembling a thick, black jelly, its colors erging and intertwining in patterns that seed to dance in the darkness.
By absorbing their spiritual power, it took on a stable form, as if a coin spun infinitely, flowing between the depths of darkness and the softness of light. Light and darkness danced in a cosmic spectacle, emanating a peculiar feeling, as if the true mastery of this law resided in the harmony between opposing forces. It was an ethereal dual power, seeming like shadows that defied understanding.
With shining eyes, Bruno said, ’A na... shadow and dual... Celestial Law of Infinite Cosmic Duality and Eth...’
’Fuck it. Duality of Shadows it is.’ Alm interrupted quickly.
The rune vibrated severely as if being marked by its na. Then Alm and Bruno felt the celestial laws bowing, and they knew imdiately that it was now inscribed in the celestial laws. It was done!
Without hesitation, they seized that single celestial rune. Then, without waiting for a single second, they put Ruri on their backs and stood up, running at full speed forward. In a minute, they were in front of a giant black rune.
It was the sa rune that existed in the realm of flas; there was one in each realm they visited. After finding out that they couldn’t comprehend anything in this rune they found in the realm of flas, they simply ignored the others. But now everything has changed.
So, they touched that rune, and the newly self-created law by them was directly transferred and sucked in.
The whale closed its eyes, and the tattoos lit up. That law was linked to Yin and Yang, splitting into two polarities, but at the sa ti, it was one thing. It was precisely a reflection of divided and opposing souls that were a single being.
Nothing in the universe could manipulate that law except for them. After all, it was impossible to have an equal level of divine mastery in both poles. So, they connected completely to it... and opened their eyes.
The massive black rune cracked into infinite fissures. Then, the entire abyss trembled.
CRACK!!!!!
The rune exploded violently! Right after, a single rune that rapidly changed polarity remained intact.
Silence perated between Alm and Bruno until...
