It was the beginning of a typical day in the fourth level of the abyss. In the vast black plains where the Illusory Demons clan resided, a tense eting unfolded between the leader and their advisors. Everyone was halfway furious, halfway disheartened.

The foray into the realm of flas was a disaster, and on top of that, plans that had been in motion for hundreds of years to confront one of the fifth-level demon clans, using the two weaker clans, were ruined.

Despite all the fifth-level clans being affected, this was the worst possible scenario. In a month and a half, the lightning realm would open, and the fifth-level clans, despite the extre danger, would surely attempt to make up for their losses by going there. This would widen the gap between them and the fifth-level clans, making it impossible to try anything for a long ti.

The clan leader, with dark eyes, exclaid, "Those two bastard mixed-blood clans. We should have just slapped a slave seal on one of them, as I suggested. The laws of the demon emperor prohibit it, but who would care to look at those mixed-bloods and find out? Combined with our illusory technique, they would never discover it."

The advisors sighed. Doing this to the Soul Eaters was indeed feasible. But the Serpent Wings had dragon bloodline; a slave seal implanted in them would result in a suicidal and destructive explosion. Dragon blood was impossible to ta. Their greed in wanting to use both clans was the only thing that saved the Soul Eaters from this fate.

BOOM!

It was right after the leader’s outburst that a distant explosion reverberated through the air, and everyone in the eting directed their senses in the sa direction.

"The clan gate! It’s an attack!" One of the advisors exclaid, and everyone quickly leaped out of the window.

Dust rose into the air, and the leader and advisor focused their senses on the enemy near the entrance. Then, suddenly, they furrowed their brows upon sensing the enemy’s cultivation ahead, clearly much inferior to theirs. In the next second, they felt a wave pass through their minds... was it a hybrid? They wondered, sensing her bloodline.

The invaders didn’t invade; they only destroyed the gate. The two advisors and the leader landed on the ground as the dust dispersed. Then, a feminine and childlike voice echoed.

"I am the leader of the Serpent Wing demon clan!" The cold voice resonated with her Qi and lineage throughout the clan’s expanse, making the demons co out and gaze deeply at the entrance.

"You Illusory Demons must have received my previous ssage. I don’t care about the old problems you caused for my clan or the Soul Eater clan; after all, we were weak and pathetic." The figure of a small half-wyvern girl appeared in the midst of her words, and everyone observed her strangely.

"I’ve co to demand a fight for the position in the hierarchy between the clans. According to the rules of the demon emperor, a lower-ranked clan, upon issuing the challenge, the higher-ranked clan is obliged to accept." She concluded emotionlessly.

Nothing had been disclosed about the events at the entrance of the realm of flas. Then, faint smiles appeared on the lips of the cultivators who ca out to watch; what a ridiculous scene is this? Everyone thought. However, they quickly realized that the advisors and the leader were not laughing, and there was still a certain tension emanating from them.

The leader of the Illusory Demons spoke without emotion. "According to the rules, there are two types of disputes; the total battle between the two sides or the battle between the key mbers. This must be chosen in total agreent between the two sides."

Upon hearing this, all demons felt sothing very strange. The leader was impassive, but the advisors behind seed to fear sothing. What could this hybrid creature do? They thought; it was in that sa second of uncertainty that everyone saw the little girl with a pathetic cultivation raise her right arm to the skies.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Suddenly, in the skies, thousands of gigantic wyverns erged, flapping their wings and causing a disturbance in the laws. All demons looked up in fear, and most fell to the ground in shock. It was a massive army, and all of them had a cultivation as high as the advisors. If they decided to attack, it would be the end for everyone.

The advisors and the leader of the Illusory Demons froze, and their hearts beat in despair. It was then that the little girl, looking coldly at them, spoke.

"As I said before, I didn’t co to massacre. I want a battle between the high ranks."

Then, in the sky, twelve gigantic half-wyverns descended gently and hovered ten ters in the air, silently.

At that mont, relief perated among the Illusory Demons. All the half-wyverns were at the fifth level of the Elental Condensation Realm; anwhile, the little girl leading them had a pathetic cultivation at the third level of the Core Formation Realm. The advisors of the Illusory Demons had the sa cultivation as the half-wyverns in the sky. However, the patriarch was at the sixth level, and with this useless leader on the other side, even with the powerful dragon-blood physique, it was perfectly possible for them to win.

"Great, we accept. But this will be a fight to the death." The leader of the Illusory Demons spoke quickly, and an aura of excitent emanated from him. The bodies of these half-wyverns, with a cultivation as high as theirs, would be a treasure for them to use.

Runula waved, and all the thousands of wyverns high in the sky moved away; only the twelve remained, and the battle would take place in the air. In the sa second, another female figure approached the little girl, smiling; she was a half-demon.

Calirer said nothing, just placed her hand on Runula’s head, and both closed their eyes. One minute passed, and then both opened their eyes in synchrony.

CRACK!

All the laws in a vast area around the clan stirred. They were all pure demons and only felt slight discomfort, but they were scared, thinking, Was that a bloodline suppression?

"Let’s go." The little girl spoke dryly and jumped into the air, accompanied by a glow that covered her body.

The form of a wyvern much smaller than those that flew appeared. But around her, a subtle and extrely abnormal aura writhed. All the more experienced ones felt that aura and trembled; it was soul power, and it was at a dense and frightening level.

All the advisors and the leader of the Illusory Demons felt sothing was wrong, but they ascended slowly; there was no turning back.

They all rose hundreds of ters into the air, and when they were all at the sa height, their cultivations were released to the limit, causing the grayish skies to change color and distort.

All clan mbers watched attentively the beginning of the battle with their eyes fixed on the sky. In the blink of an eye, the groups of advisors, representing the opposing forces, advanced rcilessly. The demons wielded weapons made of sinister bones, while the half-wyverns dove into battle, their claws falling from the sky like black teors.

Amidst the fury of the confrontation, no one noticed when the little wyvern, positioned just behind, took a deep breath. Her body shook, preparing for a unique mont. Then, she opened her mouth.

*ROAAAAAAAAR!*

A deafening roar echoed through the skies, reverberating like infernal thunder. The sound resonated so intensely that everyone present felt as if their souls were about to be ripped from their bodies. The force of the roar was overwhelming, a manifestation of power that ca from a divine and invincible bloodline. It was a legitimate dragon’s roar.

In the next second, a black rain began to fall over the clan’s lands. A dense mist of blood spread, enveloping everything in its path. The minds of the onlookers were still stabilizing when they looked up, witnessing the transford landscape. The advisors of the Illusory Demons, the pillars of leadership, were annihilated in the first onslaught. The rain was their blood!

So, amidst the confusion and the bloody black mist, they only saw the massive jaws of a colossal creature close, ending the leader of the Illusory Demons. He vanished into the darkness, leaving behind only the echo of the roar that would resonate in the demons’ mories forever.

A bit away, all the half-demons sighed, amazed, looking upward. Then, in front of them, the whale and a little girl with a creature on her shoulder waved in satisfaction.

’Mixing soul power with draconic bloodline was a good idea. This is sothing very similar to a real dragon’s roar. She can only use it once, but it’s enough to destabilize the Qi within the enemy’s bodies for a breath, and that spelled the end for the demons.’ Bruno comnted contentedly.

"See, Deryu? Your bride was really cool and powerful now." Ruri spoke lightly, and only a sarcastic snort ca from the small creature on her shoulder.

Minutes later, Calirer approached them, and then, from the skies, a small figure descended near the whale. It was Runula, who returned to her human form.

"Good job. We have a month and a half until the opening of the next realm." The whale spoke emotionlessly, looking at Runula. "Use this place as a temporary base. You have fifteen days to lead the Serpent Wing clan, clear all the beasts on the fourth level, and collect their treasures."

Runula nodded and clenched her fists confidently. Then, the whale spoke dryly.

"After this period, you must take your clan to the fifth level, replacing one of the clans there. Then, you’ll have the rest of the month to clear the entire fifth level." In that second, Runula’s eyes widened. "The Soul Eater clan won’t help, and I won’t be in contact. It’s all up to you, use the fourth level as training, and then, do your best to lead them."

After hearing the second part, Runula petrified; that... was at least insane... the fifth-level clans had, at best, the sa cultivation as her clan. But they were pure demons and had challenging techniques. Half-wyverns were powerful, but that was due to their natural physical advantage; they wouldn’t have any advantage this ti.

The whale didn’t care to give another glance and turned to leave. Calirer looked at Runula, extrely concerned, and Ruri ran to the side of the little wyvern, holding her hand.

"Deryu saw everything, and he thought you were really cool! He’s waiting for you; surprise him, and he’ll be even more shocked by the powerful bride he has." Ruri spoke, laughing. Runula raised her head but didn’t see Deryu. He had returned to the space connected to Ruri, but her spirit seed to lift.

Everyone from the Soul Eater clan moved quickly, and after a while, Calirer asked about the plans for Goku.

"We’re heading to the fifth level. What’s the na of that strongest demonic clan?" The whale asked dryly.

"Venomous Demon Clan..." Calirer replied, a bit scared.

The whale nodded, speaking, "We’re going to knock on their door. We don’t have ti to waste, and I need ti to study the next step. Did you think only Runula was going to be trained?"

Calirer smiled bitterly, and a cold sweat perated her back. Goku had no limits to his insanity. So, after three days, they glimpsed the gates of the lush Venomous Demon Clan.
