The light from that eternal twilight seed to converge at a single point. It was a grayish, furry figure with two heads, which at that mont glead and sparkled while emitting a suppressive and malevolent aura, calmly observing the mortals before its eyes.
At least, that’s how all the demons and demonic beasts saw Cerberus in that second. They were all lying on the ground, unable to breathe. It was at that mont that one of the two heads snorted, and the other, taking a deep breath, opened its jaws slightly, emitting a sound.
The noise was so strange that literally everyone felt their ears start to bleed. So spat blood, but none could articulate a single word or make sudden movents. It was as if they were trapped in a sonic nightmare.
Quickly, the despairing looks of everyone made Bruno interrupt his first attempt to speak to a non-human body. ’I think I need a few more elocution lessons. We don’t have an abundant QI to burn ntally speaking to so many people...’
At that mont, Bruno noticed Alm in silence and felt that he was trying to move sothing inside the body but seed to be facing difficulties. Soon, he was surprised to feel the Yin tattoo sprouting in him and using it to directly control that bloodline with all his power.
In an instant, pure Yin seed to connect with the bloodline, and a bloodline power exploded from Cerberus’ body like a volcano erupting. The air and space began to vibrate. The power of a true underworld dog surfaced in the world, and at that mont, Bruno was shocked, while Alm, equally surprised, murmured ntally.
’We’ve seen so demonic beasts with this bloodline in our universe, but they all had a thin bloodline and only existed on ascending planets. But now this... I feel a strange connection to sothing.’
Bruno nodded and felt that bloodline slightly. It was sothing directly connected to Yin, and his soul was the complete opposite, so he could only rely on his extensive experience to judge. But Alm was feeling everything directly, so, thinking calmly, Bruno spoke.
’Is it the so-called underworld?’ He said jokingly, but Alm’s silence surprised him.
On Earth, in the other universe where they lived, and even in this Queen’s universe, they had read stories about separate worlds, as if they were a mirrored world of the universe. Legends called these places the underworld, heaven, the spiritual realm, among various other nas. But all converged on the point that they were sothing connected to the universe, being a part of it, and at the sa ti being a whole separate universe with other types of living beings. And it was naturally impossible to access.
’We’ve already reached the top of mortals and climbed the first step to beco true gods, yet we only felt the other distant universes. Now, I feel sothing... as if it’s a place that’s close but impossible to reach.’ Alm comnted seriously.
’The legends of pure Cerberus being a race from the underworld were well known. We thought we knew the world before going to the Queen’s universe, but with each discovery, we realized how limited we were.’ Bruno sighed, speaking. ’It’s impossible with just one bloodline to feel other universes. To be able to perceive this existence, it must be sothing truly connected to this universe, so the underworld legends must be partly real. We were literally frogs in the well.’
’Without a pure Yin from a divine soul like mine, this wouldn’t arise like this. The Heaven’s Will didn’t put us in this body by coincidence.’ Alm added, turning his gaze to the people around. Quickly, his gaze turned cold.
Bruno then focused on them belatedly and beca excited to see everyone kneeling. After realizing Alm’s reaction, he comnted, ’Don’t get too worked up. Now we need to test this bloodline, maybe there’s sothing more.’
Then, after a few seconds, Bruno ntally squinted in disbelief. He realized he couldn’t manipulate that bloodline without contaminating it with his Yang. Alm was the only one who could use it to communicate with everyone, which frustrated him imnsely. After a brief internal discussion, Alm finally agreed to speak ntally with everyone.
’My slaves...’ In the first words, he stopped abruptly. ’Inferior beings... gather all my... screw it! Gather so I can lead you.’ Alm spat, emanating a frightening aura.
All demons and demonic beasts trembled but imdiately stood up, as if an infinite weight had been lifted from their backs. Before, they were confused and aimless, only fear and impending death pervading their minds.
They were not humans; their deepest instincts were shaped to survive by following leadership as if it were the most natural and right thing to do. For them, a strong leader was everything, and nothing else mattered. Now, soone powerful enough to stop them from moving or thinking was commanding them; they simply bowed and ran, following orders without questioning.
After a short ti, the now Lord Cerberus moved to where all the fearful demonic beasts were gathered. The first heralds went ahead and helped gather everyone who was scattered, and they gathered joyfully after hearing the news of the arrival of the new commander.
Everyone was in the small area, surrounded by eager bones, waiting for their arrival. Suddenly, from the top of a mound, a grayish shadow released its entire bloodline, falling like a hamr on the chests of all demonic beasts, who fell to their knees.
’Demonic beasts are much easier to lead because this body is also one of them,’ Bruno spoke ntally. ’They are already submissive with very little. It will be great for training with this bloodline. Now, control your instincts of a cliché villain and try to command them with the bloodline.’
Bruno just sighed for missing that fun and acted as a restraint for Alm, who hated every second of what he was doing. The demons stayed at a distance, waiting in their area. Soon, Cerberus addressed the demonic beasts in a grueso manner, revealing where they all were and the fate they would have; if they wanted to live, they would have to accept him invading their bodies.
Hours of bloodline testing passed. Then, the entire place began to glow in gold, along with the eyes of all those hundreds of demonic beasts. The Queen’s control runes were finally activated. Cerberus roared as if wanting to destroy the world, and all the golden runes were easily destroyed.
’It seems like there are so things missing in this bloodline. My Yin is just a part of the whole,’ Alm comnted confidently after a long training session.
Bruno thought briefly and then spoke confidently, ’Let’s go to the demons; this ti it will be faster. And surely, the other key is there.’
Alm couldn’t understand the connection, but he also didn’t want to waste ti. Upon reaching the congregation of demons, he didn’t bother to speak much; he just ignited his bloodline, which was already worn out, and directly invaded everyone’s bodies. Imdiately, Alm felt as if the power of the bloodline was a fish thrown back into the water after being caught. The process was extrely fast, lasting minutes, and all the golden power was easily destroyed.
The two were excited about the result. In the end, they hardly spent any spiritual crystals, with only Alm converting a bit of Yin. And one thing beca clear: uniting the races was not for nothing. The Cerberus was a demonic beast, but at the sa ti, the demonic power of the demons’ bloodline seed to be sothing directly connected to them.
