On that sa day, the whole group headed to the central building to collect their test rewards. Langrum bought so techniques for Loeus and then joined Almin, combining all the crystals obtained from the village mission. Together, they bought the entire small stock of herbs available in the sect. Almin would have to work hard to produce Yang pills for her.
On the sa day, the group set off towards Dark Night City and visited the female elder. As she had promised, in one day, she had already sold a third of the weapons. She claid to have sold them to trusted acquaintances, but now she would trade the rest more slowly to avoid exposing her identity and prevent dangers for them.
With about five million abyss crystals earned with only a third of the weapons, Alm and Bruno were annoyed. With that amount, they could advance to the ninth level of the Foundation Establishnt Realm using the Yin and Yang tattoos. However, they decided to exchange the crystals for knowledge, considering it the most valuable resource at that mont.
After leaving the building with the crystals, Langrum and Almin seriously addressed the issue of the next goal, but both seed to have different ideas. Almin clearly wanted to isolate and dedicate himself to alchemy, while Langrum intended to focus on her and Loeus’s training, preparing for entry into the abyss.
The whale then spoke coldly. "Do you want to cultivate peacefully? Without danger, gains will be minimal." Both looked at him strangely, who wanted to live jumping from one cliff to another? They thought.
"Did you forget that the elders were imprisoned for 500 days? More than half of that ti has already passed. Even if you want to be at peace, they won’t allow it." The whale said lightly.
Almin then murmured, "I’ve heard rumors about the punishnt they received. All their blood will be drawn and refined, and then they will be healed and have their blood drawn again in endless torture. Even if they survive, their minds will be shattered, and no one believes they will live long after returning."
"Don’t be naive. Hatred and revenge are the strongest feelings one can experience; combined with the gains they would have by capturing us, it would all have been worthwhile. Most of them will survive and try sothing, even with the patriarch watching." The whale responded without hesitation.
"There’s no tranquility in the cultivation world if you want to live and get stronger. We’ll go to the desert again to mine and cultivate under pressure; I’ll just make a few purchases in Bloody Skies City before we go," the whale completed and moved toward the city’s exit.
Langrum and Almin sighed tiredly and followed him, knowing they couldn’t lag behind or the whale would rcilessly abandon them.
Ruri watched everything and looked at the whale, instinctively identifying that Bruno was in charge before speaking lightly. "Master, I want to do so shopping and rest for a bit. I’ve been feeling a bit strange lately."
Bruno glanced at her quickly and nodded. "Hm, when we get to the city, we can rest there for a day. You’re in a growth phase; it’s good to relax a bit."
Ruri imdiately smiled, and Bruno continued as if he didn’t care. The rest of the group behind them sighed, finally understanding who was really in charge. Almin imdiately felt bitter, rembering his brother in his universe; in the past, Alm and his wife were exactly like this. When Almin wanted sothing from his brother, he simply asked his brother’s wife and always got it.
They headed to Bloody Skies City, but Bruno noticed that Langrum was lost in thought. When they arrived in the city the next morning, Langrum turned around, saying she would return to Celestial Abyss City but would be back in ti for their departure, as they would stay a day for a brief rest.
Loeus stayed with the group. The whale gave a good amount of abyss crystals to Ruri. She then joined Almin, and the three had fun and bought whatever she wanted. Ruri smiled brightly like never before; if sothing happened, they would know who to bla. Seeing her joy, Alm stopped complaining, and both accepted that it didn’t hurt to do what she wanted sotis... or always.
The whale then went alone to a specific place. The elder had already inford them where they could buy very difficult knowledge. It was a simple house that apparently anyone could enter, but inside, the aura of a powerful cultivator could be felt. As they entered, space distorted, and they found themselves in a large library surrounded by books and Jade Slips everywhere; they soon spotted an old man at the center with closed eyes, ditating.
It was clearly soone in the Heaven Stage Realm with the capacity to be a high elder of any of the sects. However, this old man had only a good relationship with the three sects and was not an elder of any of them.
The whale approached, and the old man opened his eyes, scrutinizing the round being. After a few silent minutes, he spoke lightly. "What do you want to know?"
The whale tossed a ring, and the elder caught it gently, examining its contents. It was all the crystals they had at their disposal. Soon, they spoke. "I want to know everything you know about the planet and the continent, along with all the mysterious places or any rumors about these locations."
Then, the old man began to speak calmly. From ti to ti, this ascending planet received visits from the outside, and the na of this planet for foreigners was Pristine. The Pristine Planet was nad by visitors from the Divine World many millennia ago, evoking a sense of purity and virginity in the face of nature in its purest state from a distant past.
Soon, rumors erged that this planet had a very different geography not too long ago. Legends said that there were many continents and nature was lush, generating many different treasures. This place was often visited by people from the divine world. It seems that, for so reason, nature here could easily generate so treasures that should only be found in the divine world. Of course, they were rare here, but it was not impossible to find them every few centuries.
Currently, the planet is characterized by a single gigantic continent, with 80% of its surface covered by water. The reason for this seems to be the consequence of two apocalyptic wars that sank the other continents.
There are currently three nations, as they already knew. One in the north, another in the south, and the last one in the center of the continent, dominated by the Three Extres Sect. More detailed information about them was added. But the most important thing was to learn about the existence of four mortal regions on this planet.
The first was exactly where they were. Only the evil cultivators and so powerful cultivators knew of its existence; it was obviously the abyss. They were surprised because they already knew a lot about the desert and other hidden secrets in it, but clearly, the old man had no idea about the hidden city in the desert. It was great to find that out.
Soon, information about the other three places began to be revealed, and Alm and Bruno beca extrely thoughtful and intrigued.
