ROAAAAAAAAR!
A powerful roar with embedded QI made several trees tremble within the third level of the prison. A black claw made of runes split the ground, narrowly missing the large and fat target by inches. Then, the infernal beast turned abruptly, startled. A ball of fat hit it at an incredible speed.
The beast flew a few ters, and a spear pierced its runic head, revealing a larger rune but unable to penetrate it. Then, a giant black blade slashed from the opposite side, and half of the infernal beast was split. Yet, there was no blood, only scarlet runes shattered. In the air, within seconds, the two divided parts slowly rejoined as a bone saber and a greenish sword crossed, cutting through that single dense rune on the head.
CRACK!
The rune broke into several pieces, and the entire runic body of the infernal beast unraveled. Thousands of infernal laws writhed in all directions like bloodthirsty tentacles seeking to connect with sothing. Then, in seconds, they touched a round whale, a green woman, and a worn-out man.
Everyone breathed heavily and broke into a cold sweat; a single mistake, and they would die. This beast was at the elentary level of the Core Formation Realm. The whale attracted and served as a shield, absorbing the damage. Then, Langrum and Almin would injure it, making it channel its energies into the central rune to regenerate, lowering its defenses. Then, Ruri would attack stealthily, using the ntal power stored in the runes of her technique along with Loeus, and destroy the core of the beast. Of course, the elent of surprise and the precision of all had to be perfect.
Seconds passed, and a large amount of infernal laws flowed out of Langrum and Almin, dispersing forever. The whale absorbed 100% of the laws. It was a clear advantage for him to have received the symbol of the Evil God directly from the Tablet, unlike those two.
"We killed the fifth infernal beast and recovered the third wing now. We have to speed up, or we won’t even get the fifth wing in ti," impatiently analyzed Alm.
Four hours passed, and now they had been in the prison for eight hours. Normally, they wouldn’t be able to defeat soone at the elentary level of the Core Formation Realm relying only on the physical aspect and without being able to use their QI. But the infernal beasts were made of runes and obviously didn’t have physical power comparable to the whale, and their intelligence was quite limited. With good coordination and Alm precisely locating the main rune of the beast, the tactic worked perfectly after the fourth attempt. And now, on the fifth, they won easily.
"The warm-up is over. Let’s raise the level of the beasts; we have no ti to rest!" the whale said, moving in a direction.
Everyone, still pale and exhausted, almost cried and quickly followed closely. Almin was the most defenseless and useless there; he had no attack pills, and his combat power without using QI was almost nil. The ring had to be in contact with the tar’s body, and their QI was connected to the place, serving as energy for the process.
"I know the egg will take a while to hatch... but I’m sure! My pet woke up and sensed sothing!" Ruri excitedly spoke ntally.
The whale then analyzed and spoke. "Hm... it seems there is a powerful beast nearby. I was avoiding it, but if the egg reacted, this beast must have sothing that the egg wants."
Bruno then thought carefully. "The egg has already ford a soul in it after we let it absorb the bloodline of the parents. Now it seems to sense things that can be useful to it..."
"Great! It wants to be born, it’ll have to work!" Alm said without hesitation, excited.
The whale turned, looking at the whole group that had tired expressions. Soon, he spoke to everyone ntally. "It’ll be good to have a little more excitent."
Almin and Langrum were breathless. They were on the brink of death all the ti; was this whale crazy? Then, they turned to Ruri, who was clenching her fists in excitent.
"God... they’re an insane pair..." Almin muttered in his mind, but the whale had already turned, changing direction.
An hour later, a tremor shook the entire third level. Even Calirer, inside the cave, opened her eyes, feeling the laws stir.
An infernal beast spread its wings at the top of a hill and leaped into the sky. The beat of its wings swept the infernal laws, and its powerful presence could be felt and seen from everywhere. The beast radiated fury and intense killing intent, then, at an unbelievable speed, made a violent dive forward.
The entire ground below the beast seed to split as its power descended from the skies. At the point ahead, dozens of ters away, was the target of the beast. It was a figure that looked like an ant when compared to this winged beast, but it was round and had a piercing gaze.
"Third level of the Core Formation Realm, even if we swallow him with the spatial inventory. One mistake, and we’re dead," Alm comnted ntally, but the two were excited.
The runes of the infernal beast clearly emitted a pure and different power, mixing with its infernal laws. It was the first ti they had seen an infernal beast of this level, as they had previously avoided very dangerous fights. Now, they understood that infernal beasts had a clear power limit and, to rise further, they needed external power.
Then, the ssage through the array ca. "Master! They’re bones, and they look like that Wyvern from before!" Ruri spoke excitedly. She went with everyone to the hill, which was the ho of the winged beast.
"Yes. Treasures, lots of treasures to harvest. This egg is a true divine compass!" Alm and Bruno murmured in their minds, excited.
