The central building shook before an overwhelming power, as if the structure itself were being challenged by cosmic forces. The entrance gate, unable to withstand the pressure, exploded into a shower of scattered pieces. A figure was thrown out like a kite whose strings had been cut, gasping and expelling blood in its trajectory. The figure’s body collided violently with the ground, which gave way under the impact, creating a deep crack with the earth rising.
Slow steps, coming from inside the building while approaching, reverberated in the eerie silence within the village. The earth settled, and an old figure with his clothes stained with his own blood stood up with a cold and sinister look.
The elder looked in the direction of the steps and saw seven n approaching with empty gazes, all their Qi at the end of the Foundation Establishnt Realm released, sparing nothing. Before, the elder was completely focused with his Qi inside Anfi, and his body had few defenses. Still, he was at the eighth level of the Core Formation Realm; he spit a lot of blood, but there were no bones or internal damage. It was just a weak blow he received with low defenses.
Anzo observed Anfi in the midst of that group. How could this have happened? He wondered with regret. However, his astonishnt increased even more when the seven n revealed seven black sabers. The weapons emitted a strange aura, completely different from anything he had ever witnessed. The seven quickly surrounded the elder in a circle, while Anzo, in a state of shock, pondered how to save his grandson.
Suddenly, the sll of blood perated the air, awakening the elder from his stupor. He noticed sothing akin to a rune illuminating on the blades of the seven n, while multiple laws of the world seed to intertwine and converge on these young disciples.
"What the hel-" the elder murmured but was interrupted when he felt his heart stop abruptly, overtaken by the scene he witnessed.
The tal of the sabers seed to grow black roots along their blades. Suddenly, dozens of these sinister roots appeared, snaking along the arms of the n wielding the sabers. In a grotesque display, the roots penetrated their skins, extending like voracious tentacles into their bodies.
In a matter of seconds, the dreadful fusion was complete. The sabers seed to have beco a direct extension of their bodies, intertwining inextricably. tal and flesh now ford a single distorted entity, and the sll of blood perated the air even more, accentuating the hideous scene unfolding before him.
This elder had lived for five hundred years and thought he had seen everything or had knowledge of what he hadn’t seen. But that ghastly fusion frightened him deeply, not for their appearance, but for the bloody and dense Qi emanating from the seven. Their power had multiplied several tis!
’As powerful as this may be, maybe they can only fight against soone at most on the second level of the Core Formation Realm... there are seven, but they don’t pose any danger.’ He thought, but he didn’t feel relieved. ’The cost of this power... Anfi!!’ Anzo beca extrely furious. His grandson’s life must be hanging by a thread in exchange for this power.
Anzo took a deep breath, focusing on eliminating the six n and capturing his grandson. Nothing else mattered; he needed to end everything quickly. At that mont, all seven burst forth with montum, filling the space with the vibration of their powers. The elder laughed, releasing all the Qi from his core into his body. However, as soon as he gave the order, a violet Qi chain manifested, obstructing the release of his own power.
Stunned, Anzo felt the abnormality, while death lood over him like a scythe close to the throat. His grandson? It no longer mattered; his life now ca first. He exploded with all his strength, breaking the restraints in his core.
A wave of power, loaded with the full force of the core, made the world lose color. Not even another elder of the sa cultivation, receiving this power directly, would erge unscathed; these youths would beco bloody mists imdiately. In the sa second, the elder clearly perceived the lives of the seven fading away with sorrow. However, a piercing pain hit his being, and blood rose in his throat.
When the wave of power dissipated, Anzo saw the bloody mist being swept away, but a giant black blade was thrust directly into his chest.
He spat out a mouthful of blood along with part of his internal organs. "How?" He murmured with bloodshot eyes.
He was seriously injured, but it was nowhere near enough to kill him. He simply pulled the giant blade from his chest, spat out more blood, and was shocked to realize that it was the amalgamation of all seven sabers.
"What a devilish and sinister technique..." Anzo spoke, but soon thought that he could at least study it and gain sothing. It was at that mont he noticed movent all around the village.
He squinted; all the villagers had co out of their hos. But he didn’t give any orders. Why did they co out? Then, he felt a dozen peasants exiting the central building. Surprisingly, those were beings who would be used for refining the treasure underground.
"What the hell is happening?"
He spoke dryly, then felt several fluctuations surrounding him. Shortly after, as if they had erged from nowhere, about 18 auras appeared. The elder only saw a violet veil dissipate around them and seed to understand with his experience the abnormality of it.
’This is... ntal power?’ He thought, frightened, and tried to circulate Qi in his body. But in that second, he spat out another mouthful of blood and his internal organs.
Fierce auras rose to the sky and confined the elder at the center like a prison. He looked at everyone and recognized, almost jumping, the fifteen won... but... their appearances were quite different; their skin was grayish, and their presence was eerie and cold. Spears, swords, and sabers erged from all of them, even a little girl was there with a bone saber as tall as her.
"It seems like I was completely led and deceived by you all." He murmured, realizing that their weapons emanated the sa abnormality as the sabers wielded by his grandson and the other n.
Then, he grinned, with teeth and eyes dripping blood. "Do you think you’re going to kill ? Hahahahahahha."
"Fell into this trap and got injured; indeed, I have less than 10% of my power to use. But only with you all? Hahahahahahha."
Everyone just looked at him with extre concentration, without any reaction. Their confidence in themselves was as firm as steel. The leader’s orders were to finish Anzo off quickly while Alm and Bruno went underground. Yet, now the won were being underestimated? The won didn’t dislike it. Alm and Bruno taught them very well that being underestimated was a huge advantage. So, everything would be easier, they all thought.
With this will made of steel and confidence, it also brought pride and inflated ego together. They all stood still, waiting for the elder to laugh; the satisfaction of beating a powerful enemy after he spoke so much made them feel a burning fire within. Little did they know that Anzo was just pretending.
anwhile, the whale descended into the depths of the underground towards the awaiting treasure while keeping their senses on the fight, feeling through the earth with their bloodline. Then, Goku imdiately sensed an abnormality. These youths were very inexperienced and were easily deceived by the elder.
"IDIOTS, ATTACK!!!" The whale shouted with all his Qi from underground in extre fury.
The entire village heard the thunderous cry, and the seventeen won, plus Almin, jumped incredulously. Yet, it was too late; the elder bought enough ti, and with the little Qi left, he shot a rune towards the sea. In the next second, the sea roiled, and reinforcents were summoned!
