Silently, an hour passed with Alm and Bruno observing from a distance the beasts in human forms on the beach. Then, coming from the horizon, the shadow of several boats appeared, approaching the coast slowly.
As they neared, dozens of figures that were waiting jumped towards the boats in an extrely abnormal manner. They were beasts in human forms, with a physical potential much superior to that of an ordinary human. The whale observed the movent between the boats; everything seed to be coordinated by the ancient crew. With the help of the newcors, they moved large crates to a single larger boat in the center. After another hour, those on the boat before jumped to the beach and walked towards the village, while the newcors remained in the smaller boats and set sail back to the sea.
Only one larger boat remained on the coast, without guards and loaded with resources. Alm and Bruno still curiously watched the stationary boat when they felt another aura approaching from the village toward the beach. Suddenly, their bloodline reacted, causing them to turn towards the figure with surprise, and a trendous shock passed through their eyes.
His cultivation was at the end of the Foundation Establishnt Realm, and on his chest shone an unmistakable symbol on his clothes: he was a disciple of the Three Extres Sect. The shock ca when they realized the real dinsions of the figure, an imposing, tall, and... round like a dense ball of fat! In his eyes, a subtle glow from the laws of the earth could be felt, leaving no room for doubt.
’HE’S OUR TWIN BROTHER!’ Bruno exclaid ntally.
’Don’t be an idiot, he... just has the sa Behemoth bloodline as us. And the level is very similar to what we had when we mastered this body in the beginning,’ Alm replied, clearly surprised too. The Behemoth Bloodline causes extre hunger, so giant bodies were pretty much a norm for those with this kind of bloodline.
After a few seconds, Alm sighed, completing, ’The origin of this bloodline is linked to the Three Extres Sect. Well, a diocre clan like ours had an agent with this bloodline, so the strange thing was that we never saw another similar one before.’
Bruno waved, looking deeply at that whale, which took out a small boat and headed towards the large boat anchored in the sea.
’It seems we’ll have to visit that sect at so point. We’ll have to think of a thod in the future,’ Bruno comnted lightly.
The second whale reached the larger boat and quickly boarded. The boat seed to lose a lot of weight from its interior, and the second whale ca out of it, sailing with its boat northward across the sea. It was clear what happened: he stored everything in spatial rings and was leaving to take all the resources the villagers had taken from the sea to the sect.
Now, they knew that the presence of mbers of the Three Extres Sect in that village seed to be intense, making everything even more dangerous for them. It wasn’t hard to imagine the presence of a powerful elder within the village, and attempting a stealthy infiltration could result in almost certain discovery.
Alm and Bruno retreated a bit, increasing the safety margin. They observed the entrance to the village and noticed that the gates were almost open, without much apparent security. A suspicious situation, as if it were an invitation for anyone to enter without fear. They were fully confident that nothing would happen if an enemy tried to invade directly since the demon tal that dominated the mind was an unbeatable weapon against cultivators of this planet.
Night fell, and the whale returned to the group, who awaited anxiously. They recounted what they had seen but omitted the fact that the cultivator from the Three Extres Sect was almost a twin brother of theirs. Langrum and Almin pondered, and everyone spent three days observing from afar the movents in the village for more information.
The main occupation of the village inhabitants was the exploration of marine resources. Daily, a fleet of boats with cultivators returned from the sea loaded with valuable resources, such as ores and marine beast cores. Then, another group set out, maintaining uninterrupted work. During this exchange, ordinary human cultivators were also spotted. After the exchange, a cultivator from the sect always appeared to take the resources away. Once, they saw a boat coming from the north, bringing more cultivators from the sect.
’The cultivators of the Three Extres Sect don’t seem to be ntally manipulated. For them to have a tal of this level... people from the sect, marine beasts, and certainly demons are involved,’ Alm comnted with conviction, confirming that demons were still alive on this planet.
In their previous universe, they had already co into contact with tals of this kind. Demon tals are not created by nature but through the interference of cultivators. There are various accounts of how to create demon tal, but most converge on lding demon blood, dense earth laws, and the essence of a spirit.
Typically, thousands of poor slaves would be used, and their spirits would fragnt through brutal torture until they disappeared. As a result, their souls would be damaged forever, and they would hardly be able to reincarnate again, representing a true and almost eternal death. The tal wasn’t called demonic for nothing, and the people in the controlled target location had a dark future for their existence.
’That cultivator with our bloodline showed us that the Three Extres Sect contributed to the earth laws when making the demon tal. The demons, obviously, contributed with their blood. As for the marine beasts, they must be responsible for the village’s security and for providing a good portion of these slaves. They have the entire coastline of the continent to get new slaves and even mix bloodlines; hybrids naturally have more unstable minds, making them easier to manipulate. A truly nefarious collaboration, and to my liking,’ Alm added.
Bruno then comnted thoughtfully, ’Now the idea of the won infiltrating seems like suicide. We and Ruri could go in front, and the demon tal would hardly be able to dominate our minds easily. However, we would attract a lot of attention, and Ruri is too weak if a powerful cultivator notices sothing wrong.’
Alm then thought deeply; they lacked too much information, and they had no source to obtain it. He even thought about kidnapping soone from the village who left, but that would clearly raise suspicions among the cultivators of the Three Extres Sect.
’The main point is what kind of demon tal this is. The villagers are ntally dominated, with sothing similar to a slave seal... no, this is sothing much more similar to the queen’s control, just on a smaller scale,’ Bruno comnted.
Then, at that mont, Alm, who was observing a new group leaving the village heading to the sea, noticed sothing in their bodies. ’They almost have no Yang Energy in their bodies... the demon tal clearly uses Yin Energy to manipulate them, not ntal power...’ Then, Alm turned to the won in the distance, and the idea ca to mind.
’The Yin blood we put in them gave them a higher affinity with Yin Energy, and their bodies beca much more resistant to it. If we put more and more drops in them... they will build resistance to Yin Energy to the point of hardly being dominated by the demon tal.’ Alm murmured ntally.
Bruno understood imdiately. ’Their bodies have beco very dense in Yin Energy, and they would look very similar to the people in the dominated village. Yes, that’s perfect!’
Alm then walked towards them with a malicious smile. ’Before, we used one drop, which we had diluted in 5000 parts and divided among the fifteen. They slowly absorbed it in a month. Now we don’t have ti, and they’ll have to absorb at least three drops each. It’s going to be a spectacular torture.’
