Alm and Bruno listened to those words seriously. Obviously, killing everyone was out of the question. They could even break their souls since they had the ability to restore them without killing, but the problem was how much ti that would take.
Assimilating that universe into theirs wouldn’t completely solve the problem either since the calamity’s essence was embedded in the foundation of the laws. Adding all that to their own universe wouldn’t eliminate the issue, as in the end, they’d still have to destroy everything to obtain the essence.
Taking the people into their universe and destroying the laws seed like the best option. The people inside their universe would be saved, and there, it wouldn’t be a problem to maintain the essence after destroying the laws. In that environnt, they could control and repurpose the power for their objectives.
The man had no idea Alm and Bruno had that capability. So the whale spoke seriously: "There’s no other way. I can’t leave this place as it is, or the queen will invade and destroy it all. To save everyone, I’ll take them to a safe place."
"You... Well, I thought of another solution during this ti. Maybe it’ll help."
The man spoke with a serious look. Watching him, Ruri and ru sighed. That look carried a mix of madness and courage that both of them knew very well. Alm and Bruno didn’t realize it, but the celestial law training they’d received only solidified sothing that had always been part of them. The courage to defy gods and demons and create crazy plans had always been their nature.
The man explained calmly, trying to hide his nervousness as those two observed him so closely.
Because he was a will ford by the pearl’s power, he could connect to it and study it. He was Alm and Bruno, behaving accordingly. Trapped inside the pearl, he’d dedicated all his ti to exploring its possibilities. He had studied and reflected on everything carefully.
"Now I can say I’ve beco one with this pearl. And now that I’ve been freed, I can use it at full strength to create whatever I imagine..."
The man spoke, and the eyes of all three glead identically. Was there anything better than that — a blank check to do whatever they wanted?
"What’s your plan?" Bruno asked, already seeing the man as an extension of himself, just as Alm did.
"I’m just a will and will soon disappear. But I can still create an illusion to beco whatever I want. If I pretend to be the essence rune of the item’s power, with my control, our enemy won’t be able to tell. The queen’s goal is to capture all the items, right? So why not let her capture ?"
Upon hearing this, Alm and Bruno grinned darkly, understanding the idea. Having the primordial chaos items was one thing; fully controlling their power was sothing entirely different.
Ruri and ru, for example, had already ntioned that they didn’t even possess 20% of their items’ true forms.
The queen, despite all her power, still needed to study her items and learn how to use them gradually. It was like when Alm and Bruno used to buy Daos from the system but still had to practice and understand them.
If they simply took the pearl, how long would it take them to use it like this will was doing now? The queen would be no different. She wouldn’t imdiately suspect her inability to use the pearl’s power; she would just assu she lacked understanding.
The whale spoke calmly: "The pearl is almost empty right now... I’m currently the Heaven’s Will. I can modify the small portion of the Heaven’s Will inside the pearl and still maintain control. She won’t be able to tell the difference and will think everything’s perfect."
The man was surprised once again. What kind of existence had he beco? After nodding, he added: "I can force all the pearl’s power essence to transfer to the people of this universe at once. Then I’ll beco the essence rune inside the pearl and pretend to be exhausted. That way, she’ll never have the pearl’s true power, and at the right mont, I can launch an unexpected attack."
The whale considered the consequences. All life forms in that universe were mortal, so the entire power would transfer to their Origin-Law, remaining mostly inactive. It was similar to how it worked for people on Earth: it would primarily nurture their three vital energies.
Even if the queen invaded that universe, she wouldn’t imdiately detect it, just like they hadn’t at first. She would have to invade each person’s soul to find out — but why would she randomly do that? To her, they were just insects and didn’t deserve a second glance.
In the future, the essence wouldn’t vanish after people died but would return to the heavenly laws to nourish new life forms.
Ti in that universe was strange: while over thirty million years passed outside, only ten years elapsed inside.
It would take a long ti in the external world until everyone currently alive there died. Even if the queen entered midway and sensed traces of the item’s laws in that universe’s heavenly laws, it would be understandable since she saw the pearl entering there.
To ensure this, the whale proposed: "We’ll release the pearl into the underworld and make it look like I failed to dominate it. That way, it’ll explain why it’s weak and why part of its power remains in the universe."
"Also, the ti within this universe must stay altered as it is. She’ll never notice without spending a long ti here, and I’m sure she wouldn’t stay even a minute."
The man nodded while Ruri and ru smiled, understanding the sly trap being set.
"This is that Trojan Horse dad ntioned?" ru asked playfully.
"Exactly. When she takes the pearl, I’ll know exactly where she is. Then we can use the pearl to strike her too, right, Ruri?"
The whale turned to her, and Ruri nodded. Her ntal power could rge with anything. It had already proven effective against the queen in the past when she fused with space to hide the defensive formation. Now, with the man’s help, her power could perfectly conceal itself inside the pearl. At the right mont, Ruri would invade the queen’s mind.
Of course, it wouldn’t kill her or cause significant damage, but if used unexpectedly, it would create a major opening.
"She used a lot of tricks against before. Now it’s my turn to set things up. In our next battle, I’ll end this once and for all," the whale declared, making both of their hearts race with excitent.
"Now we know a bit more about the other two items as well. It’s possible they work like the pearl but activate at different monts... You were the one who influenced this item to co faster than the others, weren’t you?"
The man nodded. At first, he had been alard when he realized the heavenly laws had been destroyed. He wanted to return as fast as possible to check if everything on Earth was fine, which explained why the pearl had moved so quickly once the laws stabilized.
As for the other two items, they were likely still searching or waiting for the birth of a new universe since the original programming predicted they would enter one.
"This visit brought a lot of unexpected things..." The whale huffed but now saw a clear path forward.
The man wanted to act imdiately, but Ruri and ru stopped him, insisting on talking first.
The mories of all Alm and Bruno’s lost lives were recorded in the Akashic Records. However, they could only be accessed by consuming points, sothing both considered unnecessary at the mont. It was better to keep everything stored for ergencies.
But the two won wanted to know everything and forced him to share the story directly. He pleaded for help from the whale, but he just shook his head. The two simply wanted to feel closer to him by getting to know this lost side of his personality, not just the events themselves.
He couldn’t deny them that. The man was forced to talk after noticing their disappointed looks.
In the middle of the story, they asked about his family and past loves. Being experienced won, they knew that hearing soone talk about others revealed more about the speaker than the people themselves. It was his perception, not reality, and that said a lot about who he was.
Strangely enough, after so ti, he beca much calr and more relaxed. He was still Alm and Bruno and easily connected with both won as if it was natural. They also shared a bit about the whale’s current state.
After a few hours, the two said their goodbyes with smiles. He was still a bit awkward but nodded toward the whale, realizing his greatest achievent wasn’t power—it was the trust and connection not just with the two of them but with so many others they had ntioned.
That will had been created with the power of a primordial chaos item. It wasn’t just a common will; it was sothing closer to a copy of Alm and Bruno’s soul. The two won knew that, once motivated, he was capable of turning the world upside down.
Judging by the new gleam in the man’s eyes, Alm and Bruno sighed, realizing he was now determined to fight for real. He would do his job perfectly and might even find another opening to do more—because that’s just who they were. The two had helped in a way only they could.
"I’m ready. My will is going to last a while, but if the queen can’t use the pearl’s power for too long, she’ll get suspicious," the man said as his ethereal body leaped into a blue and violet light, beginning to transform into sothing else.
The whale spoke coldly: "Don’t worry. I don’t intend to drag this out. The first pieces are in place; now we just need to let her get confident enough to fight head-on. Soon, I’ll kill that bitch and end this for good."
