The Alliance Mansion was a full four hundred stories tall and teeming with people.

But Lin Qi still quickly locked onto the source of the anomaly. A woman was exuding an unusual Spiritual Power, and she was holding a small, straw-stuffed doll.

’Extraordinary Profession, Shaman, Tier Two... Is that... Si Ranran?’

Lin Qi recognized her instantly.

Ever since Lin Qi had left Greenfield City, he’d also managed to screw over Si Pharmaceutical on his way out.

After that, Si Ranran’s personal information could no longer be kept secret.

It was as if she had been doxed by the entire cyber network; her information was being constantly exposed.

Details including her personal history and photos were leaked, and even her niche Extraordinary Profession as a Shaman received so exposure on the cyber network.

Killing intent imdiately swirled in Lin Qi’s mind.

Lin Qi had always thought there was sothing seriously wrong with the Si Clan’s pair of sibling heirs, the real and the fake.

Lin Qi had already killed Si Ying with his own hands, but Si Ranran had always hidden herself well. She had made several moves against Lin Qi, but he had never gotten a chance to catch her.

’Kill her?’

Just by using his Spiritual Vision, Lin Qi could tell that Si Ranran’s Extraordinary Professional Level was likely one minor stage lower than his own.

Spiritual Vision could easily be linked with his other Abilities.

With a single thought, Lin Qi could fill Si Ranran’s entire body with blood clots, killing her instantly on the spot.

But Lin Qi hesitated.

’My thods for attacking at a distance are relatively limited. It’s either Blood Manipulation or Rapid Growth, and I used both of those Abilities quite a bit in Greenfield City.’

’Now that I’m in Alliance City, if I keep using them, soone with an agenda might figure out my identity. After all, there aren’t that many coincidences in the world, and I’ve been present every single ti soone was killed this way.’

’The risk of exposing my identity is far greater than the overt threat Si Ranran poses.’

Lin Qi hesitated for a mont. While he did, he casually ford a Spiritual Tentacle and instantly crushed the Spiritual Needle that was trying to pierce his heart.

After so thought, Lin Qi considered using Rapid Growth in a more subtle way, to make Si Ranran’s death less conspicuous.

But just then, his Intelligent Brain suddenly received a communication request.

The call wasn’t from an acquaintance, nor was it from any contact Lin Qi had saved.

The caller ID was displayed as , but the note field showed [Guang Ling].

Contacting him at such a critical mont, Lin Qi could pretty much guess Guang Ling’s purpose.

The rcenary Corps leader, who had a penchant for cyber-stalking his mbers, knew that he had found Si Ranran.

Guang Ling had most likely discovered Si Ranran’s contact with that A-Class Prosthetic Implanter and had also detected her attack on him through so device within the Alliance Mansion.

Given Guang Ling’s understanding of his abilities, it wouldn’t be hard for him to guess that Lin Qi was about to counterattack.

Lin Qi chose to accept the call. After all, Guang Ling, the leader of the rcenary Corps, had never contacted him in such an urgent manner before.

Of course, if his killing intent had been resolute enough, he could have rejected it. But Lin Qi figured that with Guang Ling’s capabilities, the call would have gone through even if he had tried to reject it.

"Si Ranran is making a move on you, but I don’t think now is the best ti for her to die."

Guang Ling’s voice entered Lin Qi’s ears as a signal simulated by his Intelligent Brain’s electrodes.

Lin Qi didn’t respond out loud. After all, the place was crowded with prying eyes, so he couldn’t openly communicate with Guang Ling.

However, since Guang Ling had chosen to dissuade him, he would surely provide a reason.

As he quietly waited for Guang Ling to speak, Lin Qi kept his Spiritual Vision trained on Si Ranran to monitor her movents.

At that mont, Si Ranran was suffering from the backlash of her Spiritual Needle shattering. She was clutching her head, trying to ease the pain.

At the sa ti, she muttered viciously, "That Wizard from the Liu Clan, why is he still protecting him? What’s his identity? What does he an to the Liu Clan? Could it be... just like our Si Clan, the Liu Clan is playing a similar ga? Is he actually the Liu Clan’s real heir?"

Lin Qi heard every word of Si Ranran’s muttering.

She would never figure it out. No matter what, Si Ranran would never realize that Lin Qi himself was the Wizard who had acted against her.

But unfortunately for her, back in Greenfield City, Lin Qi had been tested by "Holy Light."

Because of that, the Si Clan and the Round Table Conference were certain that Lin Qi was not a Wizard.

It was Lin Qi’s best disguise.

While Si Ranran was reeling in pain, Guang Ling continued to speak.

"Have you considered why Si Ranran would dare to leave Greenfield City and show up in Alliance City?"

Guang Ling didn’t rush to explain, instead asking Lin Qi a question.

Lin Qi followed Guang Ling’s line of thought and began to ponder.

’It’s true. According to the standard practices of the big corporations, once an heir’s identity is exposed, they must be protected to the absolute utmost, under strict lockdown.’

’Why would they let Si Ranran run around freely and co to a place like Alliance City, where saints and sinners mix?’

’Are they afraid their own heir won’t die fast enough?’

’Or has the Si Clan started ignoring the Big Business Alliance Successor Bill?’

He gave a slight shake of his head, which he figured was a sufficient response. Lin Qi believed Guang Ling could see it through so ans.

Guang Ling continued, "To a certain extent, the situation in the Asian Administrative Region is already precarious. A corporate war is on the verge of breaking out."

"The fuse for all this was the incident where Si Ranran’s identity was exposed. And the person who lit that fuse was you."

Lin Qi shook his head again, a look of innocence on his face. ’How did this get pinned on ?’

’I’m just a victim striking back at the Si Clan. What did I do wrong?’
