"Yes, I'm fine," the elder replied. Jiang Hong didn't say anything else and ended the call.
"Is it just , or did that elder seem unusually nervous?" Jiang Hong asked with a frown after disconnecting the call, raising an eyebrow. The other peak masters also looked doubtful.
"Hehehe..." Lei Ping suddenly started chuckling, which caused everyone to turn their heads toward him.
"Hmm? Supre Elder, why are you laughing all of a sudden?" Qin Mu asked in confusion.
"Heh, I know the reason why that elder was so nervous," Lei Ping said, instantly drawing everyone's attention.

He knew all too well that disciples with powerful backgrounds often beca arrogant and offended people they shouldn't. He could now understand why the elder was so nervous—because the disciple who provoked Wang Ming was his nephew and feared retaliation.
'Why can't they be like my disciples who are be noble and refined?' Qin Mu thought to himself. But Lei Ping's next words made him choke on his saliva.

On the other hand, the elder who had just spoken with the Sect Master and received confirmation looked pale, cold sweat dripping from his forehead.
"That bastard Fang Juan..." the elder cursed his nephew internally, wondering why he had provoked Wang Ming in the first place. "Elder..." a voice responded from the other end.

"Y-Yes! He's at his residence... he brought so disciples for Dual Cultivation," the voice replied nervously. The elder imdiately cut the call and stord off toward Fang Juan's abode, his face dark with rage.

"You, co outside. Now," the elder said coldly, ignoring the frightened woman who was shivering on the bed as he turned and walked out.
"What the fuck is wrong with him? You stay here. I'll be back," Fang Juan muttered to the woman as he hastily threw on a robe.
A few minutes later, still looking displeased, Fang Juan walked out of his abode and found his uncle waiting for him, rage practically radiating from his face.
'Fuck, did I do sothing to piss him off?' Fang Juan thought nervously as he approached.
"Agh!" Before he could open his mouth, his uncle grabbed him violently by the collar and instantly teleported away from the place.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Uncle?!" Fang Juan shouted as he was dragged to the place where the leaderboards were observed and tossed onto the ground. Even though Fang Juan was afraid of his uncle, he was still annoyed at being treated this way.
"Hey, do you rember the disciple you ssed with from the group of inner court examination candidates?" the elder asked in a neutral voice. Fang Juan, upon hearing this, was startled—and then his face darkened.
'How could I forget? Because of him, you beat
up for the first ti,' Fang Juan thought bitterly. Then sothing seed to click in his mind, and his eyes lit up.
"Did he fail the inner court examination? Aha! I knew that bastard was just bragging. Wait until he cos crawling back to the outer court—I'll dual cultivate with my partners right in front of him!" Fang Juan said with a malicious grin, completely unaware that his uncle's face had darkened, with veins bulging from his forehead.

"Ugh!" the elder kicked Fang Juan in the stomach, sending him crashing into the wall.
"Look at the leaderboards, you bastard!" the elder shouted furiously.
