"Yeah, and not just anyone—soone from the Min Family!" another Peak Master exclaid in shock.
"No wonder she was so cheerful. But I don't understand... How did soone who gets rejected even by ordinary disciples manage to recruit soone like Min Li?" said another Peak Master in disbelief.
The reason for their shock was simple—Jade Peak had been ranked at the bottom for years and had hardly recruited any new disciples. Most of its mbers were older disciples. Another major reason was that Zhou Huxin was the only Peak Master who had yet to reach the Golden Core Realm, and most disciples didn't want to join soone they perceived as weak.
Zhou Huxin's eyebrow twitched as she listened to their conversation.

"Hehe, unlike you all, I actually pay attention to the Outer Court. You guys are just a bunch of hermits who spend all your ti cultivating in seclusion and have no lives," Zhou Huxin said venomously. Everyone felt a wave of ntal damage from her last remark.
'Damn, isn't my peak at risk of becoming the lowest-ranked now?' Mu Feixu thought grimly. She knew her peak's disciples were only slightly better than Zhou Huxin's, barely avoiding the bottom rank. Now, with soone from the Min Family joining Jade Peak, she was certain Min Li was anything but ordinary. Mu Feixu cursed herself for not paying attention to the Outer Court sooner.

Zhou Huxin's eyebrows twitched at the remark. It was one of the few facts that truly stung—she held the record for being rejected by at least a hundred disciples, a great humiliation. And, of course, Mu Feixu was the one who had recorded it. The only silver lining was that only the Peak Masters knew about it; if the disciples found out, her reputation would be in ruins.
"At least I'm a more beautiful woman and didn't get rejected by disciples for Dual Cultivation. You even got rejected by an Outer Court disciple! Hahaha!" Zhou Huxin shot back.
"You bitch! That was when I was an Outer Court disciple!" Mu Feixu snapped, veins bulging on her forehead. The Peak Masters started sweating bullets, feeling like the two were about to break into a fight.
"Alright, enough," Jiang Hong intervened, seeing the situation escalating.
"Sigh, why do you two argue every ti you et?" Lei Ping asked with a helpless sigh. The two won, on the other hand, simply snorted and looked away from each other.
Just then, everyone turned back to the large screen, which began lighting up one after another, displaying images of excited disciples.
"They look excited," one of the Peak Masters comnted.

"Sect Master, which one is Min Li?" Qin Mu asked. The others looked a bit embarrassed, realizing they had been so eager to recruit her despite not even knowing what she looked like.
"There, look," Jiang Hong said in a calm voice as she pointed toward one of the screens.
The Peak Masters turned their eyes to the screen and saw a beautiful woman looking around the beginner city. They raised an eyebrow when they noticed her acting intimately with a handso man. Normally, mbers of top families were cold toward outsiders, so seeing such a warm interaction surprised them. Moreover, they could tell the man was from the Dual Cultivation departnt, which the non-Dual Cultivation sects typically looked down upon.
'Is she seducing Disciple Wang Ming?' Zhou Huxin raised an eyebrow as she saw Min Li wink at him.
They watched silently as the pair visited various shops before leaving the beginner area.
