"That old man... what is wrong with him?" Lucine inwardly wondered, thinking about the sudden changes in Elder Song’s behavior. The old man’s conduct was somewhat suspicious, as if he were hiding something, and it was indeed related to Lady Evelyn.
"Well, whatever. I should go and meet Lady Alma and Lady Milan..." Lucine whispered as he remembered Yohan’s parting words. Before leaving, Yohan had asked him to head to the newly built city a couple of miles away from the Rivershore City and alert everyone regarding the potential threat.
After ing to Rivershore City, Alma, Milan, and Yulia decided to spend some time with the women of the Nichole clan territory. Among them, only Alma and Milan were capable of fending off any potential threat. While Yulia and Lee Qi were still low-level cultivators, they could not handle it if someone with a higher cultivation base decided to attack them. That was the reason why Yohan asked him to go and look after that place for a while until he returned.

Inside the hall, two figures could be seen sitting side by side. Alena tilted her head and looked at Yohan with concern. She had already learned everything through that video circulated inside the clan where those elders had confessed their crimes and their involvement with those seven branch families,she also aware that all of them are dead.
"Are you worried?" Yohan finally faced Alena and looked directly into her eyes. Alena was taken aback seeing that gaze in Yohan’s eyes. Her lips trembled, and the things she was about to say became meaningless under that very gaze. Yohan simply moved on the floor and took Alena’s hand in his, taking her by surprise.
"I know you are worried about my safety... I am truly grateful for that. You were always gentle and kind to me, no matter what I did and how much trouble I caused you; you never gave up on me. That’s why I am asking you to please trust me. No matter where I go and what I do, I’ll always return to you!" Yohan whispered, looking into Alena’s eyes. He knew she was holding herself back and trying her best not to cry by suppressing those emotions inside her.
Yohan knew she was in pain, scared about her family. First Su Lin, and later her father-in-law, and now her own son whom she adores is leaving without giving much explanation. Yohan indeed felt bad for her, but nevertheless, he knew she was a strong woman, and if he tried to persuade her, she was definitely going to listen to him.
"Yohan... promise me you will not let your rage consume you!" Alena finally broke her silence as she looked at Yohan with a serious gaze.
Yohan was momentarily taken aback hearing Alena, but suddenly he remembered the fight between him and Aella that Alena had witnessed. He was indeed consumed by hatred when Aella had insulted Alena and told her that she always hated her for being the weakling of the family.
If at that very moment Evelyn and Elsa hadn’t interrupted him through their spiritual senses, he might have killed Aella.
"Promise me you will not lose yourself, no matter what the circumstances..." Alena took Yohan’s face between her palms and looked at him with seriousness. Yohan was silent seeing Alena like that, but nevertheless, he nodded his head gently, touching her hand.
"I promise I will not lose myself...!" he responded while feeling this warmth on his face. Hearing Yohan, Alena leaned downward, placing her lips on his forehead while gently holding his face between her palms.
Sometime later, Yohan left the hall along with Alena. The moment he appeared outside, a figure immediately moved into his embrace, hugging him tightly. It was Jasmine. Her body was trembling, as she was aware that Yohan intended to leave again.
Seeing her like that, Yohan simply held her tightly in his embrace, consoling her. Leaving was indeed not an easy task, knowing he had this many women who cared for him and loved him unconditionally. And leaving without telling them was not an option that he wanted to consider anymore like in the old times; he didn’t want to go through all that shit when these women went all out scolding him for doing that over and over, again and again.
In the past, he had already made a promise to Diya, Jasmine, and Alena that he would not leave without informing them so they wouldn’t have to worry about him. Yohan could understand his past actions were indeed selfish; at that time, he was only doing what he felt like doing, not caring about the feelings of his partners.
A moment later, Kana also moved into his embrace. Yohan simply adjusted both of them in his arms. The moment he did that, Genelia’s facial expressions changed. She gulped nervously, thinking about all those unbelievable rumors that were circling around. She finally understood that those were not just rumors, but everything was true: the disciples of Lady Evelyn were indeed his partners.
Sometime later, Yohan finally bid his goodbyes to his partners and then left the Patriarch Manor, shortly leaving the Lin clan in Athena’s and Evelyn’s care.
Meanwhile, at the same time, a womanly figure could be seen standing at the edge of the cliff, very far from the Rivershore City. The next moment, a figure manifested right next to her.
"You’ve finally e?" Elaine whispered as she looked at Yohan.
"I already told you that I am not leaving without you..." Yohan responded as he looked in the direction of the Rivershore City which he had left earlier.
"Are you sure you don’t want to take their help? They are your partners... with their help, you can easily crush your enemies!" Elaine sheepishly said, curiously looking at Yohan’s face.
"I don’t need their help to crush some bugs..." he responded, and with those words, he disappeared from that very place.
"Interesting..." Elaine whispered, and the next moment, she also disappeared from that very place following Yohan.
