Two hours have passed since Su Yang's second exchange ca to an end. When the female disciple who was knocked unconscious finally woke up, she found herself resting beside Feng Ling.
"Huh? Senior Sister Feng?" the female disciple muttered, clearly still in a daze.
"Welco back, Junior Sister Ni."
"Senior Sister… where am I? What happened to ? I swear I was in the middle of the exchange…"
"You were brought here after losing consciousness during the exchange. It's been two hours since then."
Disciple Ni's eyes widened, and her mories gradually returned. Once she recalled everything, her face flushed with redness.
'Heavens! Did such things really happen?! Are my mories…correct?!' she doubted her own mories after recalling them.
Suddenly, a sect elder of the Mystic Delight Pavilion entered the room.
"How are you feeling, Disciple Ni?"
"I feel a little exhausted," she said.
The sect elder proceeded to retrieve a crystal ball and showed it to her.
"Disciple Ni, this is your recording device, correct?" she asked.
"Yes, it's mine." Disciple Ni confird.
"Then you must've recorded your session with Xiao Yang. The Sect Leader wants to see it, but she cannot access it without you."
Disciple Ni trembled after hearing this.
"T-that's… Can I see it for a mont?"
The sect elder handed the recording device to her, who imdiately looked at the recording inside.
As she watched the recording, Disciple Ni's expression grew stiffer.
'There's no way I can let the Sect Leader see this recording!' she cried inwardly, her back soaked in cold sweat.
After a few minutes of awkward silence, Disciple Ni uttered in a low voice, "I-I'm sorry, but sothing seems to be wrong with the recording device… I think that Xiao Yang did sothing to it while I was unconscious…"
The sect elder frowned upon hearing this, but it wasn't because she doubted Disciple Ni's words.
"That despicable bastard!" she growled in a cold voice.
"Sorry for being useless," Disciple Ni sighed.
The sect elder shook her head and said, "This isn't your fault. We didn't anticipate that soone like Xiao Yang would be participating in the exchange, nor did we expect the Boundless Yin Yang Sect to act so shaless."
"I have to return to the Sect Leader now. Get so rest."
Once the sect elder left and it was just Disciple Ni and Feng Ling in the room, Feng Ling spoke with a slight smile on her face, "There's nothing wrong with the recording, am I right?" Disciple Ni visibly shook at such words, and she quickly responded, "T-that's not true! There's really sothing wrong with the device!"
Feng Ling chuckled and said, "There's no need to hide it from . I also cultivated with him, so I know what you're feeling. The way I acted during that exchange was unbefitting of —it was almost like I'd turned into a different person—a beast."
"Senior Sister…" Disciple Ni looked at her with trembling eyes.
During her session with Su Yang, she had uttered words so embarrassing and shaful that they would utterly shatter her image if revealed. The re thought of others hearing those recordings filled her with dread. Although she felt a deep sense of guilt for lying to the sect elder and Sect Leader Shuang, she knew she would rather die than allow those recordings to be exposed to anyone.
"Why don't you just destroy the device?" Feng Ling suddenly suggested.
"That's…" Disciple Ni looked at the crystal ball in her hands with a perplexed expression.
Although destroying the device would guarantee that nobody could ever view the recording, she found herself unable to bring herself to take such an action. Whether it was out of so inexplicable attachnt to the mory or sothing else entirely, her hands trembled when she considered destroying it.
"I-I'll do it later…" she eventually said.
Back at the exchange, Su Yang suddenly stood up and turned to look at Sect Leader Qing.
"Sect Leader, I have a suggestion."
"What is it?" she asked, sounding a little intrigued.
"In order to not waste ti, I would like to imdiately start the next exchange," he said, surprising everyone there.
"I don't see how that would benefit you."
"It doesn't benefit , but I like a challenge. After all, this is currently too boring."
"Are you sure?"
Su Yang turned to look at the remaining participants and nodded with a confident smile, "I'm sure."
"This arrogant bastard…"
The female disciples clenched their fists and glared at him.
"What do you think, Sect Leader Shuang?" Sect Leader Qing turned to look at her.
Sect Leader Shuang didn't respond imdiately, her expression contemplative. This proposal clearly benefited the Mystic Delight Pavilion, as it ant Su Yang would have less ti to recover his energy before the next round. From a strategic standpoint, it would be only natural for her to accept such an advantageous offer.
However, if Su Yang sohow manages to defeat the Mystic Delight Pavilion despite being at such a disadvantage, it would be a catastrophic blow to their sect's reputation. The risk of humiliation weighed heavily on Sect Leader Shuang's mind, making the decision far more complex than it initially seed.
'Damn it, why am I contemplating so much on this? There's no way the Boundless Yin Yang Sect would win this exchange, regardless of what that bastard has up his sleeves!'
Eventually, Sect Leader Shuang nodded, "Alright, let's do it. However, I don't want to hear any excuses when you lose."
After receiving the Sect Leaders' approval, Su Yang looked at the remaining six participants and said, "So, who wants to be my partner next? I'll make sure to end each session within fifteen minutes so that we can be done before the other two co out in two hours."
Hearing Su Yang's outrageous declaration, one of the participants stepped forward. However, another disciple suddenly held her back and said, "There's no need for you to deal with him, Senior Sister Xiao. You're our top disciple, after all."
"Hmph," Disciple Xiao sneered before taking a step back.
