Chapter 75: Completing the Mission
The words of the man got stuck in his throat as a green jade sword penetrated him from the back and ca out from his stomach.
The man’s expression was filled with agony and pain as his throat got filled with blood, "Cough... Cough... how?"
Lin Feng who had thrown the sword stood up and looked at his thigh which still had an arrow stabbed into it... He caught the arrow shaft and pulled it out in one jerk. He frowned at the pain but it wasn’t sothing he can’t handle.
Lin Feng felt that this wasn’t even in the list of heavy injuries his past self had gotten in order to achieve battle sense.
Finally Lin Feng eyes fell on the man who had turned himself towards him with aghast expression. He smiled, "Yes, I am happy that you ca close? Thank you for listening to . Since you listened to , I won’t let you die easily as token of appreciation."
Lin Feng went close and pulled out the sword, before taking out a Qi Refinent realm vitality pill from the ring which his aunt had given him.
Qi Refinent pill will be enough to not let him die while also not healing this man completely.
Lin Feng went and grabbed the chin of man and pushed the pill inside his mouth and punching directly on his lips.

"Uuummmmhh... mmmm..." Seems like along with pill so of his teeth also went in. Lin Feng then used his sword to stab multiple locations on the ridians of the man.
The man just trembled violently, he wasn’t able to even scream in despair due to his mouth being mangled.
Finally, Lin Feng took out one of the arrows from the back of the man and scratched his cheek with the arrowhead, he looked at the scratch to see if poison was acting or not as he was not sure if this guy had taken cure or not before coming here.
When he saw that the skin start to rot at the location he took the storage bag from the man and threw him on top of dying body of the woman, she already was few breaths away from the death, "There you go, enjoy her even in death." With all his qi depleted, even that small amount of poison was enough to kill this guy.
Lin Feng looked at the scene for so ti, the man was trembling as poison was slowly affecting his whole body, he was surely in agony and pain.
When Lin Feng felt it was enough he gathered yang qi on his palms just like before but this ti it was with destructive properties, yang qi can be used in many forms. Purification and destruction are just one of the ways.

What was he even expecting from lower level devil cultivators. Lin Feng looked towards the way of village before leaving. He had completed his mission, there is no need to go announce them, they will understand after no incident happened again.
After that they can themselves go to the branch of Xueyin City to verify and take down the mission down.
It will delay his credits but there was no need for him to worry about that as he wasn’t here for credits anyway.

In the Frozen Heart Sect, Xuan Xue appeared above the spirit peak, imdiately her eyes went to her abode as she felt disturbance in void around it.

Bai Ning looked the spirit qi violently entering the abode, it looked like it will tear the whole abode into pieces. It wasn’t possible though, the abode was reinforced with best defensive arrays as it was abode of sect master of the Frozen Heart Sect.
"By the way how many Grade 9 beasts did you catch?" Bai Ning was curious about as they are the beasts which can single-handedly change the course of the battle.
Xuan Xue sighed, "Don’t overreact, it’s 7 and it was because one of the beasts was shaless enough to encourage others to join unconditionally."
Bai Ning was shocked hearing that, just like others but also understood why it happened since Xuan Xue ntioned the reason. She waited calmly along with her till the breakthrough ended.
