Chapter 357: Karmic Laws

"Listen Yan’er, you are getting too much obsessed with the situation regarding Lin Feng. Your mistake is to think that it was your fault to bring him inside the sect, and it is becoming a seed of doubt inside your heart...

You better resolve it as early as possible and as of now I can only see a few ways you can do it. I will not ntion about the paths available to you as you are wise enough to know them, but I will definitely suggest the best way for you.

Cut your ties with the Yin Yang Harmony Sect, go into hidden seclusion and only co out when you are about to leave this world.

I will not ntion why I even suggest this path for you. You can figure that out by yourself. Let it be our final goodbye since the chances of us eting outside this world would be quite low."

...

Yan Lihua had pondered on Elder Gao’s words a lot. She understood her aning very clearly. She was going to develop a heart demon which would hamper her cultivation path.

After coming so far, she did not want that to happen at any cost.

The choice in front of her to prevent that were limited, and one of them was to eliminate the root cause of everything.

Initially she had thought of following this path, but after these recent developnts she had a feeling that Lin Feng was soone who seed almost impossible to kill.

Those techniques, his strength, his ability to create impossibly high grade pills, and the fact that he was able to activate a grade 9 array platform while being at a realm where it was impossible to even think about it, were enough for everyone who knew about him to develop an inherent fear of him.

Was soone like that killable? Maybe, but it was Impossibly harder than her imagination.

Maybe this was the reason why Elder Gao never suggested her to take this path, as she had figured out that Lin Feng was far beyond what they had imagined him to be and there was a possibility that he had not shown his true capabilities yet.

Alas, even though she really wanted to avoid taking the path of elimination, she was also very reluctant to cut ties with her sect where she had grown up and had sacrificed so much for its prosperity.

It was a very hard decision for her, so in the end she decided on the middle way, trying to kill Lin Feng one last ti.

If she succeeded then everything would be over, but if she failed then she was not afraid of making the decision to cut ties with the Yin Yang Harmony Sect.

Rather, the situation might reach a point where her guilt would turn into the heart demon she feared the most.

She closed her eyes for a few breaths in front of everyone and opened them with a chosen resolve. Whatever happened, she would live with it.

She took out a thin silver compass, and when she did that the surrounding area around the peak got much dimr even with the glaring sun shining upon them.

Everyone’s eyes got fixed on the silver compass in the hands of Yan Lihua as she stood up and ca to the middle of the peak and placed it on the ground. "Pour your spirit stones."

She did not specify whom she had asked, but Mo Chen understood it was for him. The price of hunting Lin Feng was totally upon the Yin Yang Harmony Sect and the Crimson Fla Palace.

They had prepared for this situation when they found out that Lin Feng was very hard to be found even with their spiritual sense. This treasure was sothing the Yin Yang Harmony Sect proposed to use, and even though the price was steep they had agreed.

Mo Chen ca near Yan Lihua and began pouring out hundreds of thousands of dium grade spirit stones.

Yan Lihua did the sa, and they only stopped when a total of five hundred thousand spirit stones were laid around the compass.

"Go back."

Yan Lihua said, and Mo Chen took a few steps back.

She looked at the treasure and sighed. This was the only hope she had. This compass was known as the Karmic Compass, a treasure which had been with the Yin Yang Harmony Sect since its foundation.

This special compass was very powerful. Its grade was not known till now, but it was definitely above the grade 9 treasures they had.

She took out a pill, and it was not an ordinary pill but a pill refined by Lin Feng. Lin Feng had erased all the evidence or any kind of related things which could be used against him from the sect. He really was quite ticulous, but it was impossible to erase everything.

She did not know how karmic laws worked, but she was sure that this pill would be enough to form a connection between this compass and Lin Feng.

Once that happened, Lin Feng would not be able to hide from the person who held this compass.

She placed the pill at the middle of the compass and slowly began imbuing her spiritual qi to activate the compass.

Everyone looked with utmost attention. They all wanted to see a glimpse of karmic law, even though they knew that they would not be able to comprehend anything from it.

The compass vibrated as it absorbed spiritual qi before it began floating slowly, and a silver ethereal glow began emanating from its core.

The silver glow covered almost the entire peak, and imdiately all the spirit stones around the compass began vanishing at an unimaginable rate.

In just a few breaths all of the spirit stones vanished, and the glow reached almost blinding brightness, forcing even all the Tribulation Ascendance cultivators to avert their eyes.

When they were able to see again, they saw that the pill on the compass had vanished, but now there was a golden thread wrapped around the compass with one end of it vanishing into the void.

Yan Lihua sighed in relief. "It has successfully connected with Lin Feng."
