Chapter 346: Apprehension

This world was so big that even after so many generations, only around ten percent of its land was occupied by all the humans living in it.

These mories consisted of the middle phase of his life, in which he was totally focused on finding a way to reach immortality.

It was harder than he had expected. There was no way the heavenly law allowed anyone to beco a true immortal.

No matter how strong you are, there will co a ti when you will succumb to your age. Maybe it will take millions of years or even eons, you will definitely die unless you are holding one of the ten seats of immortality in one of the realms.

This seat is outright a status provided by none other than the heavens of the Heavenly World.

Those who hold it beco content, and those who do not roam the world to search for alternatives. He was among the latter ones, wandering around the primordial dinsion to find a better way to beco immortal and break through this restriction completely.

While doing so, he ca across many possible alternatives to extend his life to eons, but none of them provided real immortality.

That was when he understood one more thing. Holding a seat required absolute strength, and it was also true for finding alternatives to immortality. It was because even with his strength when he was at his peak, there were so places in the primordial dinsion where he felt afraid to explore.

He shook his head internally while sighing. For the ti being, he should just focus on improving himself. These were problems which he could only think about when he was in his previous realm.

In the end, it was just his mories, not his strength, which was rging with him.

...

A few days passed, and after removing every trap from Lotus Bloom City, the Frozen Heart Sect declared it perfectly fine to let everyone continue their usual activities.

In a pavilion of the Frozen Heart Sect branch, Xuan Xue and others were gathered. This gathering consisted of the sect master of Clear Blade Sect, Wu Renxiao, as well as the sect master of Moon Water Sect, Shen Yao, along with so other mighty cultivators who took part in the battles.

"So when are you going to invade? Surely you are not letting the Yin Yang Harmony Sect and the Crimson Fla Palace walk away with it just for a few deaths." Li Xiang did not want this war to end just like this when they had the upper hand.

"Few deaths? I would say that it was a lot more than just a few deaths, Senior Li." Shen Yao spoke calmly.

Li Xiang shook her head. "Not even close to how many lives they had reaped inside the Northern Region till now."

The discussion went on for a while, and Xuan Xue as usual just sat there while listening to them. She had already decided what to do. She was thinking about where Lin Feng went.

"Would you like to say sothing?" Li Xiang looked at Xuan Xue as she was the only person who had not spoken till now.

Xuan Xue nodded. "We will invade, do not worry about it. Just wait a little longer."

Invading and capturing cities was not an issue, it was guarding them after capturing them was. The Frozen Heart Sect did not have enough cultivators to handle that.

Not to ntion, if it reached the point of destruction of any of these sects, then they would use Tribulation Ascendance cultivators, and given the fact that those two regions had more Tribulation Ascendance cultivators, it would be problematic.

Nonetheless, they had to pay the price. The war was already over, only how easily they took over was the issue.

After explaining everything and dismissing the gathering, Xuan Xue and the others left.

They all first ca to the spirit mine, but Xuan Xue did not find Lin Feng here.

"Master, aunts, you all are back. Is it over?"

Mu Yao ca running towards them as she was not allowed to co and watch today, even though she was in the Core Formation Realm now.

Mo Yan and Xie Ruyue also followed behind her. They had co back a little while ago.

"More or less. Let us go back to the sect." Xuan Xue ruffled her hair.

"Hmm, where is senior brother?"

"Probably at the sect already, let us go."

...

Lin Feng really was at the sect. When everyone arrived, they told him about the recent developnts.

Afterward, they all left, and only Lin Feng and Xuan Xue were left.

"What are you planning to do now?" Xuan Xue asked as she had a feeling that he was thinking about sothing.

Lin Feng sighed. He indeed was thinking about sothing, but currently he would not feel safe enough. "I was planning to go to the Central Region, but I am still feeling apprehension about my strength."

He had decided to explore the Central Region, not to ntion he had so things to complete as he had promised.

"It is dangerous, so forget it. I will not allow you to go inside it for the ti being." Xuan Xue knew the dangers of the Central Region quite well.

Lin Feng shook his head and smiled before gripping her hands. "Alright, Master, but soday I have to go. So how about you make

stronger now that we have ti to do so?"

It had been a while since he dual cultivated with his master. The ti they spent together had decreased as he had to dual cultivate with his other aunts and senior sisters.

"You change like a season. When I thought that you had beco a little mature, you flipped again. Seriously, what is going on with you?"

Lin Feng smiled and caught her hand. "I am more like passing through so phases of my life, Master. Soon, I will complete that journey. For now though, let us cultivate, or maybe let

enjoy sothing else." His eyes went towards her wide hips.

Xuan Xue beca dumbfounded. She had not seen him interested in anything else other than pure dual cultivation for a while, and now it felt a little awkward to do sothing like that.
