Chapter 343: Raging Blood Qi
Xuan Lian smirked while looking at the eight cultivators encased in raging blood qi. "What happened to your previous words about not using these pills?"
The cultivator who had spoken about handling them was still alive, and even after eating the pill, he was stable enough to understand her sarcasm and make appropriate decisions.
He gritted his teeth and attacked imdiately. A strong blazing fla engulfed his hand as he made his way towards her. It was a punch with all his might now.
Xuan Lian beca focused and finally used all her strength. She could feel that it was sothing she could not just casually defend against. Nonetheless, she was not worried.
She encased her hand in a thin layer of hardened ice, a technique which was from her previous cultivation technique but using yin and ice qi this ti.
So techniques are not dependent on just one type of qi, so they are usable with any kind of suitably matching qi, and this was one of them.
This was one of the strongest techniques she had on her, Yin Ice Armour. Ice made the integrity while yin improved its strength further.
She closed her fingers and responded with a punch.

A screeching sound echoed as both punches t, and to everyone’s surprise, none of them backed off. Their strength almost matched.
This made Mo Chen and Yan Lihua constrict their eyes. This in itself ant a loss for them. Even with pills, one of their top Heaven Ascension cultivators was on par with Xuan Lian.
"What the hell, how is she really doing it? She definitely was not this strong previously. Did they also take so kind of pill beforehand?" Mo Chen could not believe it, or rather he did not want to believe it.
He had faced the might of a cultivator who had taken these pills and knew that it was impossible to win in the sa realm, but Xuan Lian had just shown him that he was thoroughly wrong in his assumption.
Hua Ying heard Mo Chen since he had spoken loud enough to be heard by them. "Do not lump us with you at your level. Only swine like you consu pills made of innocent human blood, not us."
Mo Chen squinted his eyes and gritted his teeth in anger. A Heaven Ascension cultivator was mocking him, and yet he could not do anything about it.
"Oh my, looks like you angered him, Ying’er. Sorry for my sister’s rude behavior, hot hea—I an senior Mo Chen." Zi i spoke with a small smile.
"You—"
"Stop, Mo Chen. They are trying to lure you into attacking." Yan Lihua quipped in. She knew that the cultivators of the Crimson Fla Palace had short tempers, and it might not end well for all of them if he made a move.
"Tsk." Zi i snorted and looked towards the opponent who was about to attack her. "Make sure to use counterasures if you all cannot handle them."
Zi i’s words were ant for the cultivators on their side, but everyone watching raised their brows. It ant the Frozen Heart Sect had already created a counter for this pill.
Yan Lihua waited for that to happen. She wanted to see if their cultivators, equipped with all the talismans and pills, could be countered or not by illusions anymore.
She hoped that it was not the case, or they would have to leave the Northern Region quietly as further invasion would not be possible even if they brought more cultivators, not to ntion they would not be able to keep the territories they had captured.
The situation was already bleaker than she had thought. If it turned worse, then everything would be over.
She looked towards Lin Hao and sighed. Everything was because of him. To think they never understood his real potential.
She did not want to predict what the future held as it was certain that if Lin Hao broke through to the Tribulation Ascendance Realm, then no faction would be able to stop him even if he went against them alone.
So killing him was the only way forward, if they were able to do it that is. To think she would have these thoughts for soone she wanted to protect at all costs.
Just as she was thinking about it, a disciple from her sect made her way towards them in a hurry. She frowned. "What is it?"
The disciple spoke slowly with a nervous tone. "Elder, one of our cities has been taken back Frozen Heart Sect."
Yan Lihua’s eyes widened. She did not have to think twice to understand what had happened. Two of the elders of the Frozen Heart Sect were missing, and it seed that they had decided to attack other cities which were less guarded.
"What?" Mo Chen heard it and could not believe it. Not much ti had passed, then how did they conquer the city back?
The disciple gulped and spoke again. "Elders, the Frozen Heart Sect has used sothing that—"
"AAARGHHH!"
A loud scream echoed as one of the cultivators from the Yin Yang Harmony Sect clutched his head.
Everyone watching the battle got stunned. Just a mont ago, he was overwhelming three opponents, but the next mont, his blood qi suddenly went into turmoil.
The amount of blood qi enveloping him increased trendously, and soon enough he was not able to bear the effect and scread as his skin broke and bled from everywhere.
No blood seeped out though, since all of it was getting converted into blood qi right now.
His body started breaking apart as if it was not able to hold the strength coursing through its veins, and just as it was about to burst open, an ethereal nascent soul left the body and was about to escape when a small chaotic orb hit it.
Without a soul sea, a nascent soul is far weaker even if it belongs to a Heaven Ascension realm cultivator.
A single attack from a normal Void Tribulation cultivator can erase its existence, much less Lin Feng’s attack.
