Chapter 256: Urgent Mission
The spiritual sense just briefly observed him before disappearing but it was enough for him to understand that this spiritual sense was ant for him. This ti he was able to tell the strength of this person: early stage of Spirit Origin Realm.

After sunset no one was allowed to plant or take away their spirit herbs so he was free now.
He went back to his cave abode and found that elder Gao was standing outside and his senior sister was with her. He landed near them.
"How was your day?" Gao Ling asked with a smile.
Lin Feng smiled back, "A little busy but it was alright... what happened?" He could see that Xie Ruyue didn’t seem much thrilled. It must be what they were talking about.
"Sigh... I just wanted her to take a mission to gather grade 6 beast cores of Crimson Vein Serpent and she didn’t find it appealing..." Gao Ling sighed.
Lin Feng nodded in understanding. There was an urgent need for these beast cores now that Yin Yang Harmony Sect had decided to speed up the preparations.
They would definitely like to have an extra hand to complete so missions. His senior sister was now in Void Tribulation Realm and she definitely could complete a grade 6 mission easily and more efficiently.
War on a sect level usually involved disciples more than elders and top figures as they were mostly for deterrence. Although it might be different for this war where one side had the advantage of having more higher-realm cultivators.
Gao Ling looked towards Xie Ruyue, "It’s not like I am asking you to do it for small rewards. You can have any grade seven treasure for a hundred beast cores you collect along with a generous amount of spirit stones..."
Xie Ruyue frowned. She was a little tempted listening to that. She didn’t like declining elder Gao when the rewards she was offering were generous enough but this matter also involved her junior brother.
In the end these beast cores would be used against his sect. She subtly looked towards him.
Lin Feng saw her eyes and nodded for her to accept the mission. It wouldn’t matter much. The pill wasn’t a problem for Frozen Heart Sect anyway.
Gao Ling noticed their simple exchange but didn’t think much. They had just t after five months and again were about to separate. This must be the reason Xie Ruyue wasn’t interested in doing this mission.
Although Lin Hao had already reached early stage of Soul Sea Realm quite fast, it would be better if his cultivation realm improved at this pace.
Separating them would interrupt that but they were really short on hands right now. Even the elders and sect master were busy doing their parts. That was why she was managing the sect.
Xie Ruyue sighed inwardly after getting approval from her junior brother, "Fine. I will go tomorrow..."
Gao Ling nodded with a small smile, "Good... I will take my leave"
Once Gao Ling went away Lin Feng smiled, "It’s better to be a little involved in the matters of the sect senior sister..."
Xie Ruyue nodded, "Let’s go inside"
Lin Feng nodded and they went inside. After going inside they didn’t talk much and went to dual cultivate.

In the morning Xie Ruyue kissed Lin Feng deeply and went to do the mission.
Lin Feng instead of going towards the spirit field went to the inner sect first. He wanted to et Hou iling and Fu Zhen today. He didn’t know when he would find the best chance to steal the Eternal Dao Lotus but if such a chance ca then he wouldn’t hesitate.
So it was better to make sure that Huo iling was at least safe from it. When he ca to the mountain he saw his own old cave abode. He wondered if it was occupied or not, Although he doubted that anyone that worthy would have co.
He landed in front of Hou iling’s cave abode and was relieved that she hadn’t activated the protective array or he wouldn’t have been able to knock on it.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
After knocking he took a few steps back. After two breaths the entrance opened and Fu Zhen appeared outside. When he saw Lin Hao he was shocked and surprised.
After coming to the inner sect he had learned how famous Lin Hao was. No matter whom he talked to they all praised Lin Hao as the best alchemist in the world.
"It’s been a while..." Lin Feng said as he saw Fu Zhen lost in thoughts.
"Ah... yes jun- I an senior brother Lin..." Fu Zhen spoke while stuttering.
Lin Feng smiled, "Congratulations on becoming an inner sect disciple" He noticed that Fu Zhen was still in Foundation Establishnt Realm albeit he had reached peak stage.
Fu Zhen finally got hold of himself, "Sigh... senior brother Lin you were far more amazing than my imagination. Just because I am a little acquainted with you others treat a weakling like
with respect"
First no one believed when he ntioned the fact that he knew Lin Hao but when they heard that he was the partner of Hou iling they all believed as Hou iling was soone who really was close to Lin Hao.
Lin Feng shook his head, "It’s not much junior brother Fu. Where is Hou iling? I want to talk with you two" He had just said that when Hou iling ca out.
