Chapter 194: Tough Battle

Luo Ming agreed with Zeng Rong. "Yes, let’s do it. It will be better if our attack lands and we injure it... that way it can affect its speed. I hope everyone is ready now. You too, Brother Zhao, get hold of yourself."

Zhao Lei snorted and looked at the leopard. He should first find a way to kill that bastard. He was the real reason why he was feeling so much humiliation in the first place.

When Luo Ming saw Zhao Lei getting focused, he decided to start. "Alright then, let’s aim for its legs."

If they were able to land a hit on the leg of the beast, then its movent speed would be affected, giving them a much better chance at surviving and killing this beast.

"Then let’s attack together. Make sure to cover every area around its leg so that even if it gets a chance to dodge, at least one of our attacks should hit it," Bai Lian stated.

Others nodded in acceptance. It would definitely work. They discussed where they would attack and got ready.

"Alright, on the count of three then. Don’t hold back," Luo Ming said and began counting, "One, two, and three!"

The mont he spoke three, he conjured a partial yang spear that blazed with dull white flas in his hands and threw it.

Most of the techniques of the Yin Yang Harmony Sect required a partner to be effective. This was the problem with low-grade dual cultivation techniques; they weren’t able to convert their partial yang qi into partial yin qi, which could complete the whole attack.

Although it didn’t an Yin Yang Harmony Sect disciples were weak, as partial yang qi in itself was strong enough to stand equally with many normal elents.

A similar yang spear was thrown by Zhao Lei, while Bai Lian took out a knife and threw it, imbuing her spirit qi into it.

The knife got covered in faint yellow lightning as it moved even faster than the yang spears.

Zeng Rong used a fla orb to attack, while the woman beside him swung her blade, creating a sharp water arc.

The last person used earth spikes.

Their attacks covered almost all of the area near the right leg of the beast, which was at least three tis bigger than a normal human’s.

When the attacks passed the middle portion of the arena, the leopard’s eyes opened. Finally, it ca to life.

It moved imdiately, but Lin Feng shook his head. The attacks of Soul Sea Realm cultivators were inherently faster than the speed a Cloud Leopard could achieve, not to ntion those attacks covered a very wide area.

As expected, two attacks landed on its right leg even though it had dodged imdiately once it opened its eyes.

SLICKKKK! ZAP!

BOOMMM!

"GRRRAAAHHHHH...."

The sound of its growl almost made it look like a real leopard, but the lack of blood was enough to make it clear that it was just a re array projection.

The two attacks that landed were from Bai Lian and Zeng Rong. They had targeted the left side where it had dodged.

The leopard imdiately lowered its head to its right leg, pulled out the knife that was stuck in it, and threw it away.

The knife flew off the slab and fell into the abyss below. Bai Lian sighed upon seeing that—it was an expensive knife.

Cultivators were able to refine weapons using their spiritual sense, but this happened only at the Nascent Soul Realm, where the soul sea truly opened up as a mystical dinsion that could store anything one had refined.

Bai Lian didn’t think much about it. Surviving was the priority right now, and her attack had succeeded. She hoped that the treasure she gained here would make up for her loss.

The leopard placed its leg down, but it didn’t put much pressure on it.

This would definitely hamper its movent speed trendously. Just as they all relaxed a little, they noticed sothing strange and were shocked—the wound on the leopard’s leg... it was healing slowly but at a visible pace. In a few minutes, it might even heal completely.

"Damn it! Attack and finish it off before it heals!" Zeng Rong imdiately shouted and attacked. Others ca out of their stupor and followed him.

Multiple attacks again moved towards the leopard, who, although slower due to its injured state, was able to dodge most of them, receiving only small cuts and bruises.

It even started to slowly close the distance between the cultivators and itself.

Zeng Rong was closest to the beast, so he suddenly jumped back, created three flaming orbs, and sent them towards the leopard to hinder its movent and gain so distance from it.

Although the leopard excelled in speed, it didn’t ant that it wasn’t strong, it was still a beast. It had higher physical strength than humans of the sa realm.

The leopard squinted its eyes, "Grrrrhhhhhhh..." and covered itself in a thick cloud, which was basically countless small particles of water.

Two orbs landed around it, while one landed above the leopard.

BOOOOMMMMMM!

TRKKKKK!

The mont the orbs exploded, the arena tilted down on the side of the leopard while rising on the side where they all were standing. It was so sudden that most of them lost their balance imdiately.

"What the—"

"Dammit..."

"Heavens..."

Not being able to fly felt more restrictive now. They all regained control of their movents and balanced themselves. The movent of the arena was not very much, so they weren’t too affected, they were just caught off guard.

"No one should attack the stone slab from now on, especially you, Zeng Rong," Bai Lian imdiately spoke and took out a slender sword from her storage ring.

While they were imbalanced, the leopard, who wasn’t affected by the movent of the arena, had closed even more distance after enduring Zeng Rong’s attack. It was now within physical attacking distance—perfect for a beast like it.
