Chapter 179: Whispering Wind Mountain Range

Yan Lihua sighed. She was still not comfortable with the fact that Lin Hao was going. She didn’t voice it out again, as just yesterday everyone, including the sect master, had tried to persuade Elder Gao, but she didn’t listen and told them not to bring it up again.

She looked at Lin Hao. She wondered if Xie Ruyue had explained to him the basic rules of the inheritance site or not. Well, she should just do it again just in case Xie Ruyue hadn’t. "Lin Hao, we still don’t know the rules of the inheritance site. The spirit consciousness will tell them today at the ti of opening so that we can’t develop any kind of counterasures.

But nonetheless, you should be aware of so important rules. First, you will be separated from everyone once you enter the site. This is one thing that is making

uneasy about you going."

Gao Ling imdiately raised one eyebrow. While Lin Feng just pretended to listen to everything carefully.

Yan Lihua’s expression changed a little as she saw Gao Ling’s reaction. "Uh... Anyway, the second rule which is common in inheritance sites is that you can’t use two types of talismans. First, those which can be used to communicate or find your other sect mates.

Second are those talismans which are of a higher realm than your cultivation realm, as this gives a lot of edge to those cultivators who have ways to get them easily.

There is a way to circumvent this rule though. It is to create your own talisman inside the Inheritance site. Since it was created by you and it is your own strength.

But it is an almost impossible notion as while creating an attack talisman, you have to imbue it with your own spirit qi. If your strength isn’t equal to match soone of a higher realm, then you can never create a talisman of a higher realm.

These things are only possible with the help of a special constitution, and there is no one from the Core Formation realm in the Crimson Fla Palace that has a special constitution.

As for the possibility of cultivators from both regions having soone like that, it is also very low. We keep an eye on everything. If soone like that existed, then they would have already joined our sect." She stopped after saying that and took out talismans she had prepared for him.

"There is a limit to how many talismans you can bring with you. Usually it’s 10 or 20. If you want to use more talismans, then you have to create them on your own inside the site." She passed exactly 10 talismans to Lin Hao.

Lin Feng took them. He could see that 3 were defensive, 2 were attack, and 5 were escape talismans, and all were at the peak stage of Core Formation realm.

"Although you have two talismans which can be used for attack, your first choice always should be using an escape talisman first when you et soone..." Yan Lihua said with a serious expression.

Lin Feng nodded imdiately, "I will, Elder Yan."

Yan Lihua nodded hearing that. "These two rules are the only rules which are common inside every inheritance site. Other than that, killing, grouping up to kill anyone, ambushes... basically everything is allowed.

Finding soone from the sa sect depends on your luck, and luck is also a very important factor in the cultivation path."

Lin Feng nodded in understanding.

"By the way, I have already told 25 disciples to always protect you. Once they find you, they will stay with you. Don’t try to send them away no matter what... They have taken heavenly oaths for it."

Lin Feng was surprised inwardly. She must have given enough benefits to them to agree to this, because those cultivators wouldn’t be able to benefit anything from going to the inheritance site if he decided to keep moving and didn’t let them cultivate.

There was a possibility that she had threatened them to take heavenly oaths, but the chances were low as this would create dissatisfaction among disciples, and they might take so kind of revenge on him in the future.

"Elder Yan, I understand." Although Lin Feng said that, he doubted that anyone would be able to find him. "I am going on the deck."

He decided to leave for the ti being. Elder Yan was flying this spirit ship, while Elder Gao didn’t seem too keen to announce that she was also coming with them. It seed like she wanted to stay hidden.

Both Yan Lihua and Gao Ling nodded, and he left.

Once he ca out of the hall, he was greeted with a vast deck. Even with 500 disciples, it was quite empty. This ship really was massive.

So disciples imdiately saw him and greeted him, "Greetings, senior brother."

"Greetings, junior brother."

...

Lin Feng sighed. If you were important enough to provide irreplaceable value to everyone, then you would be loved by everyone, even in this cruel world of cultivation.

But if you were ordinary, then even your death wouldn’t turn a single eye.

This was human nature, full of greed and selfishness.

He nodded to everyone and made his way towards the edge of the ship and looked downwards.

He sighed as they were flying above clouds. He wasn’t able to see the natural beauty of the Eastern Region, which it was famous for. At least he could see the clear rising sun.

After so ti, the layer of clouds parted. It beca totally clear, but once again he sighed. The speed was too fast, and they were too high, so he couldn’t make anything out clearly.

He just enjoyed the cold breeze and closed his eyes and started absorbing the last bit of the yin bead of his senior sister, while ignoring all the gazes landing on him.

Two hours later, the speed of the ship finally began to slow down. Lin Feng opened his eyes and saw that they were flying above big mountains. As far as his eyes could perceive, only cloud-piercing mountains were present.

This must be the Whispering Wind Mountain Range, and the fact that they had slowed down ant they were close to the location of inheritance site.
