Chapter 163: Mission Pavilion

The result of them informing the elders about him leaving was not good. Elder Lan Shun was the one who answered them and berated them for letting him leave alone.

They had been on edge the entire ti, but now they could finally relax

When Lin Feng landed in front of the entrance, one of the guards smiled with sadness, "Junior brother, from next ti please take soone with you... this ti Elder Lan seed like he would have skinned us alive for letting you go alone."

Lin Feng nodded nonchalantly and entered inside. He had a feeling that sothing like that would happen. Well, now that he had returned safely, it wouldn’t matter.

He flew again and decided to pay a visit to Huo iling, if she was present in the inner sect than he confirm her well being.

He arrived at the peak and knocked on the door of her abode, but even after a few breaths she didn’t open. This ant that she wasn’t here.

He wasn’t going to the outer sect to et her, so he just left.

He ca back to the core sect. He didn’t go to the mission pavilion directly by asking soone its location. It would be too direct. Not to ntion his realm was too low to go to the mission pavilion.

He had to enter every pavilion to look like he was just strolling to sightsee instead of actually aiming for only the mission pavilion. Although Elder Yan and Elder Gao weren’t in the sect right now, he would still not leave any clue which could create any type of doubts on him.

He landed on the base of the mountain and began climbing. In a while he reached the level where the first pavilion was present. There were also so other halls around it. He made his way inside the open area.

The na written on the pavilion was Weapon. It seed this belonged to the weapon refinent faction. He didn’t leave and entered one of the halls near him.

The mont he did, a warm heat wave struck him along with the sound of clanking. He could see so disciples refining weapons in the open. Well, given their way of handling the weapons, he could tell that they were just practicing.

He didn’t wait and left. He slowly walked in every hall. So were storages containing recently refined weapons. They were in the open because they all were failed works.

One was used to store materials, but this one was guarded by a disciple. The disciple as usual was stunned to see his cultivation realm as this was the core sect. Lin Feng explained to him calmly that he was a core sect disciple and his real identity.

The disciple nodded. He had heard about Lin Hao, the most talented alchemist. He even decided to show him the weapon refinent faction.

After seeing through everything, Lin Feng thanked the disciple and began leaving. The pavilion itself was only ant for the disciples to rest and hold gatherings. It also served as the main treasury where precious weapons along with rare materials were placed.

Without Elder Lan Shun who was the faction leader, no one could access that treasury.

Just as Lin Feng reached the exit of the area, soone appeared near him. It was none other than Lan Shun.

Lin Feng wasn’t overly surprised. He had a feeling of being watched. His instincts were strong enough to alert him when soone intently watched him for a long ti even if they used spirit sense to do so. He bowed, "Greetings Elder Lan."

Lan Shun nodded with a smile on his face, "You went out today?"

"Yes, I went to Tianping City for checking out the auction," Lin Feng said calmly.

"Hmm... next ti just take soone with you. Where was Xie Ruyue?" Lan Shun was happy that he ca back safely, but he was still a little vexed at his decision to go alone.

Lin Feng was a genius never seen before, even better than Xie Ruyue. He didn’t want him to risk his life in any way, at least when he was weak right now.

"Senior sister is cultivating right now. She might breakthrough to Void Tribulation Realm," Lin Feng answered. He didn’t go out of his way to initiate a deeper conversation. He just answered what he was asked.

Lin Feng was thinking about asking about the inheritance site but decided against it as he could feel it wasn’t the right ti. He would directly ask it to Elder Gao. Surely they wouldn’t be out of the sect for too long.

The opening of the inheritance site was a huge event. They had to decide which disciples were worthy even to be given this heavenly opportunity.

500 disciples weren’t small for even the Yin Yang Harmony Sect. Sending worthy disciples who could take benefits from this trip to the inheritance site was very important for the sect.

When Lan Shun heard that Xie Ruyue was about to breakthrough, he nodded with a pleased expression, "I see, so you are now strolling the sect?"

"Yes, I wanted to do it in the morning but decided to refine so pills. Now I am free, so I will continue looking at the rest of it."

"I see. Hmm... alright, you should go now. If anything happens or you need sothing, then co to this place or go to the Alchemy Faction, as currently only

and Dong Huirong are present in the sect. Your master and Elder Yan will co back in two days."

Lin Feng nodded and bowed, "Then I will leave Elder Lan." After saying that, he began climbing again. It didn’t take long before he ca across another pavilion. It was the Arrays Faction.

He entered and strolled around for a few breaths and interacted with so disciples before leaving. Next was the Talisman Pavilion, and after that was the pavilion which he was eager to enter, the Mission Pavilion.

He calmly made his way inside. There were similar halls around the pavilion, and every single one was guarded by a disciple. When he asked about them, he found out most of them were there to hold different types of resources after completion of missions.
