Chapter 73: Fairy, This Revenge of Yours, Please Let This Senior Bear It
"Fairy, were you calling for This Senior?" Han Lie stopped and turned around with a calm inquiry.
"Who else? Is there any other Servant Disciple here besides you?" Cai Zhen took two steps forward, crossing her arms as she leveled a sharp, accusatory glare at him. "You were laughing at just now, weren't you?"
"?" Han Lie’s face was the picture of utter bewildernt. "Fairy, I believe you must be mistaken. This Senior has never t you before, so why would I be laughing at you?"
Though, in truth, her public ltdown was indeed sowhat amusing.
"Really? I clearly saw the corner of your mouth twitch! Are you still going to deny it?" Cai Zhen snapped.
"Such a thing happened?" Han Lie scratched his head, playing along with her erratic energy. "Perhaps my mouth simply had a mind of its own for a mont?"
"Of course it did!" Cai Zhen nodded with exaggerated gravity.
Han Lie imdiately shifted his tone. "Impossible. I think you've simply picked out because I look old and weak, wanting to bully a servant to vent your own foul mood. Tell then, what is it you want?"
Cai Zhen’s expression shifted, and she stepped back, montarily denying the charge. "You’ve got all wrong. I am not soone who looks for trouble without a reason. But you heard what we were talking about, didn't you?"
Han Lie nodded. "And?" He had already guessed where this was going.
"That scoundrel Senior Brother Wang Qiang is seeing other won behind my back. I want revenge, and I want it to cut deep!" Cai Zhen snorted, her eyes flashing with spite. "Tell , within the sect, is there any revenge more humiliating than finding a Servant Disciple to replace him? When the ti cos, I’ll tell him to his face: 'You aren't even as good as a servant!'"
She looked him up and down. "Old man, consider yourself lucky today!"
Han Lie rolled his eyes. Lucky? For whom exactly?
"Fairy, This Senior is rely a lowly servant. I cannot afford to provoke the Senior Brother Wang Qiang you ntioned. Please, let soone else enjoy this 'luck'." Han Lie turned to leave. He had no interest in inviting trouble. With his Pure Yang Sacred Body, he could have almost any woman he desired; why risk the wrath of a stranger for the sake of a spiteful ga?
"Hey, what are you afraid of!" Quick as lightning, Cai Zhen grabbed Han Lie’s arm and pulled him back. "Wang Qiang is only at the early Golden Core Stage. My cultivation is just as high; I can protect you. Besides, I won't even tell him your na. You can rest easy!"
She glanced at her friend. "If you think one woman isn't enough, I’ll bring my friend Yunxia along too."
Yunxia sighed, stepping forward. "Fine. I don't usually fancy servants, but for Cai Zhen’s sake, I’ll sacrifice my charms. Two beauties serving you alone—you should be laughing in your dreams, old man."
"Heh." Han Lie offered a aningful smile. They clearly had no idea he had just finished several hundred rounds with Zhuo Hongyi and Su i. To a normal servant, this would be a dream. To him? It was just another day.
"Alright. Since you both insist, it would be ungrateful for This Senior to refuse. To die under a peony flower is to be a romantic ghost even in death. Fairy Cai Zhen, this revenge of yours—please, let This Senior bear the burden!"
"Hmph! You’re certainly willing now, aren't you? Quite the actor," Cai Zhen teased. "Follow . To avoid Wang Qiang stumbling upon us, we’ll head into the mountains on the outskirts of the sect."
It wasn't a request; it was a notification. Han Lie shrugged and followed as the two fairies led him deep into the secluded wilderness far from the sect gates.
Han Lie glanced around the quiet forest. "Fairies, is it truly necessary to co this far?"
"Of course! We don't want to be discovered," Cai Zhen said reasonably. "You wouldn't want to be interrupted halfway through, would you?"
Han Lie smiled. "The fairy speaks wisdom. It seems I worried too much. Then, let us begin."
Fairies Cai Zhen and Yunxia were surprisingly proactive, taking turns undressing him with practiced efficiency. Their service was, by all accounts, exceedingly thorough.
Approximately two hours later.
As the encounter reached its feverish climax, Han Lie appeared completely imrsed in the pleasure of the mont. Cai Zhen, positioned on top of him, felt the timing was perfect and subtly signaled Yunxia with a flicker of her eyes.
Yunxia, who had been waiting for the opening, didn't hesitate. With a flick of her jade-like wrist, a sharp, poisoned dagger materialized and shot straight for Han Lie’s throat!
Clang!
In the span of a heartbeat, a tallic ring echoed through the clearing. The dagger in Yunxia’s hand was swatted away instantly. Before she could even process the failure, a cold, black blade was pressed firmly against her jugular.
At the sa ti, Cai Zhen—who had been "working" over Han Lie just monts before—felt a hand like an iron shackle wrap around her neck. With the slightest increase in pressure, Han Lie could have snapped her spine like a dry twig.
Everything had happened too fast. Their vital points were secured before they could even scream.
"Fairy Yunxia, I advise you not to move," Han Lie warned, his voice devoid of warmth. "This Senior’s blade possesses properties that devour flesh and erode vitality. Even a small scratch would be a very unfortunate way to end your life."
Yunxia, terrified, froze in place. "You... when did you find out?!"
Han Lie sneered. "Heh. With acting skills that clumsy? You might fool so wide-eyed youth, but trying to deceive This Senior? You thought too much of yourselves."
Cai Zhen and Yunxia flushed with embarrassnt and fear.
"I will give you one chance to live," Han Lie said, his grip on Cai Zhen tightening just enough to be painful. "Confess truthfully: who sent you?"
"Hmph!" Cai Zhen tried to rally her defiance. "We are disciples of the Overlord Hall! How dare a re servant threaten us? If anything happens to us, the Overlord Hall will hunt you down! You’ll be in deep trouble!"
"Oh... really?" Han Lie’s smile turned chilling as a murderous intent flooded the air. "You were the ones who said this place was secluded and wouldn't be discovered, right? And one of you is an early Golden Core Stage cultivator, while the other is at the peak of the Foundation Establishnt Stage."
"On paper, This Senior is only a mid-stage Foundation Establishnt servant. Do you think the Law Enforcent Hall would ever believe I had the ability to kill both of you? You’ll simply vanish, and no one will ever know why."
He leaned in, his eyes cold. "My patience is limited. I ask you for the last ti: Who sent you?"
