The Next Day,
Tyler and Joseph walked out of their inn and headed straight toward the gate.
They spent the last night in the cheapest inn to save their money, but even the cheapest one costs 5 EC per night.
"Tyler, once we head toward the south, we will get sward by Gamma Creatures. If we try to hold back our strength, we will lose a lot of stamina."
"Don't use sothing that costs a lot of stamina or spiritual energy, but don't hold back either." Joseph spoke.
Hearing his words, Tyler nodded his head with a serious expression.
After they ca out of the gate and crossed the bridge, they turned left and started running toward it.
Ember Hall was nearly three miles away from the center. So, it would take a while to get there.
For them, the distance wasn't a problem. The creatures that they would co across were the problem.
And, it didn't take them long before they confronted those creatures. Nearly a horde of fifteen Gamma Creatures rushed toward them.
[Lightning Boots]
Tyler instantly charged toward them with his lightning boots.
The sword on his left side was unsheathed by his left hand. It was infused with Iron Essence as he pushed his sword forward and slashed.
The Gamma Creature in front of him saw the sword coming and raised its arms to block it.
The sword cut through the arms, but the Gamma Creature pounced forward and struck Tyler with its head.
Tyler got smashed into the ground but imdiately got up and rushed toward the Gamma Creature.
'I almost forgot that this creature doesn't feel pain and can not be rendered useless by cutting its other part. I need to cut off its head, but it won't let just do it.'
'I guess, I have to pull sothing else.'
Tyler imdiately pushed the sword back into his sheath and clenched his fist. His fist moved forward as the bolts of lightning erged from it.
Bang! Bang!
The fist moved forward and struck the air. The powerful bolts of lightning scattered out and collided with each other, creating a powerful sound.
The impact of the punch struck the Gamma Creature, even though it didn't harm him.
But the sound of the lightning collision made the Gamma Creature stop for a mont.
Seeing this chance, Tyler picked up his sword and slashed at the neck of the Gamma Creature.
While he was fighting, Joseph was closely watching him.
'I can't believe he found this tactic so soon.'
'Although Gamma Creatures can keep on fighting after their body parts are destroyed, they are extrely sensitive toward sound and light.'
'That lightning bolt sounded like a drum, interrupting them for a mont. But that wasn't all.'
'It also froze them for quite so ti. Anyway, I also need to get so kill.'
Joseph's blade suddenly let out a red glow. The massive fire energy condensed at the edge of his blade, and the fire energy slashed forward.
The slash of fla moved toward the Gamma Creatures and engulfed them.

Suddenly, his eyes glowed cold as he moved forward. The flas on his blade disappeared, and a lot of spiritual energy gathered at the edge.
The flas appeared around his body and covered him in fire armor.
Whoosh! Splash! Splash! Splash!
Joseph moved into that fla wearing his fire armor. His blade swung like a needle, piercing through the necks of those Gamma Creatures.
He went inside the fla from one side and ca out from another.
And, when he ca out and the flas were extinguished, nearly six bodies of Gamma Creatures fell on the ground with no heads.
A smirk appeared on his face as he looked around to get more targets, but when he saw the last one being cut by Tyler, his smirk disappeared.
"Sorry, you are taking so long, so I thought, why not finish so extras?" Tyler apologized with a flat expression, but his tone was quite playful.
'Argh! This guy…. His lightning gives him the edge over . These creatures won't die from an explosion, or else I would've exploded all of them at once.'
Joseph clenched his fist and felt frustrated.
On the other hand, Tyler was analyzing his strength.
'Normally, a person's strength cos from his cultivation. The higher your cultivation, the more amount of spiritual energy you have.'
'Spiritual Energy has a lot of functions, and the most basic function is to enhance the physical capabilities during battles through martial arts.'
'In other words, the higher the cultivator, the more power you will have. But, there are several ways to gain strength without relying totally on cultivation.'
'For example, my physical strength cos from Internal Breathing Technique, Tyrant Lightning Cultivation Technique, and Nine Star Gates.'
'My body tissues are condensed with such a power that I can create more force than an average cultivator of my realm.'
'Putting that aside, my lightning is also power, and so is my sword. But, this guy is different. I can see his physical powers.'
'It's not explosive like mine, rather it is extrely calm. Despite being the fire elental user, his movents and mind are so calm.....'
'No, his mind is calm, but his movents are rather steady. That's what he told before.'
'It seems like that was true. It seems like he is extrely sturdy with his movents.'
'And, finally, that blade art. That seems quite ferocious, just like my Swift Snake Styler, but much deadlier.'
'I guess without using the rest of the five moves from Golden Sword Essence Technique or my overwhelming physical strength, I can't fight this guy.'
At this mont, Tyler's expression was serious.
He wasn't planning on underestimating anyone, but because of his overwhelming strength, he didn't think much about others.
Now, he felt a sense of crisis, but it wasn't bad. Actually, it motivated him even more.
"Alright, now that we have finished here, let's move on. We will face more of these creatures ahead." Joseph tilted his head and spoke.
Tyler nodded.
"Alright"
