"I thought that you understood the last ti, when I told you that I was not inconvenienced in any way by your Sect using my Dream Realm", Fen Baihu's voice reached Wu Long's ears as her ethereal, half-transparent and delicate hand reached from behind him to touch his shoulder.
The hand then playfully stopped right before contact, as her semi-transparent figure, with flowing in invisible wind clothes and surrounded by mysterious glowing pale white mist threads, peeked from behind him.
She then drifted through the air akin to a beautiful spirit from behind his back to the side, and then as she continued moving in a semi-circle, always facing his way, she eventually arrived a few ters in front of him, "My consciousness is not like that of a human, and you cannot really say I am sowhere in one place only... except for a very specific few cases we discovered together, but even then there are nuances"
The delicate toes of her bare foot then touched the wooden floor, and from that point of contact a wave went up her leg and light silk robes, as her figure gradually gained weight, actual form, and presence, softly and gracefully landing from the floating state.
Only her eight large fluffy tails and fox ears on her head remained sowhat ghostly until the last mont, coming into existence simultaneously, as she continued, "It is akin to your ability to exist in multiple bodies at once, or think about several things at once, as if each thought was fully concentrated on, all of that with a single consciousness, but its natural version..."
She stepped forward toward him, coming within a distance of a palm between them, and looking up in his eyes with a hint of provocation finished her thought, "... and much... MUCH more superior"
"Hah, that's quite a bold claim", Wu Long chuckled, though not exactly hurrying to refute it.
"Transporting people, things, or beasts, in and out of my Mystic Realm, while thoroughly checking their identity and validity of their need to be transferred - even if it happens in hundreds of different cases and locations at the exact sa ti - continuously without stopping, is infinitely less of a task for than when a human's mind commands not even all, but a single, individual tiny part of a muscle near their lung to contract in a certain way, so that together with all others they would allow that human to exhale without even knowing they did that", her smile beca even more daring.
"You seem quite eager about an idea I haven't even brought up to you yet", he said with a smile, looking into her pink subtly glowing eyes.
"Hmph! How would I not know about it when you were discussing it in my Realm?", she snorted and turned on the spot, walking a bit away, and then turning to him as she stopped, "I don't like my abilities being doubted. It was obvious what you were thinking, about burdening and so on"
"I don't really doubt your abilities though, I never have", Wu Long said as he also walked in a circular manner while never fully turning away from her, and stopped at a different spot, both of them simultaneously starting to move in the opposite direction in the sa slow and even careful pace "My hesitation lies not in your abilities, but in the idea of..."
"Relying on ?", she said with a challenging look, as his smile turned slightly wry.
"Of constraining you", he corrected as they simultaneously stopped.
"Hah, and what makes you think I don't want to be constrained?", she scoffed, but almost gasped the next mont as she realized the slip of her words.
"What? You want to?", he asked in a light playful tone, advancing a step, which caused her to make a step back.
Her eyes narrowed, as she moved in a circular movent again, "You know what I ant"
This ti, however, Wu Long moved in a much smaller radius, causing her to make a larger circle movent than him, "Hmm~, I don't know, what did you an?"
She stopped again for a mont, and then stepping forward found him stepping forward as well.
"I an that I will do it, but not for free", she grinned, causing light surprise to flash in his eyes.
"Oh? That is sothing new indeed", he comnted, "What is it that you want then?"
"I want to change the conditions of our deal", she spoke as she took another step forward, only slightly diagonally, while he remained stationary, following her with his eyes.
Even though she wasn't taking any stance, her entire presence gave off a feeling of a fox about to pounce on its prey.
"And that is?", he asked as they looked each other in the eyes.
"I want to receive your 'bond' and throw out the 'mutually beneficial partnership' entirely", she spoke, her figure changing into an amorphous mass of ethereal mist that traveled in an instant, and appearing right in front of him, finding him already looking her in the eyes again before she materialized.
Her cheeks beca rosy, but she didn't move away her slightly nervous gaze.
"That's sothing I would gladly do, but there won't be a way back. If you haven't noticed, I am quite possessive", he said as he leaned in a bit.
"Who said I will want to back out", confidence returned to her grin as she looked at him.
"But there is sothing you're a bit mistaken about", he then added, as surprise and confusion appeared in her eyes.
Her mind raced with all the possibilities, but his hands already wrapped around her waist and pulled her in to press against him, as he leaned to her ear and whispered, "Becoming my woman is a separate matter entirely from our previous discussion, and it is not a bargain, Baihu"
Her eyes widened, as he leaned a bit back and once again looked her in the eyes from close-up as his hands went up to hold the back of her head and her cheek, adding "We'll talk about that later, but for now, let us concentrate on this"
She didn't have ti to reply as his lips covered hers, and her eyes closed as her hands softly slid onto his back and then toward his shoulders.
