In Qing City, the third young lady of the Nan Family should have reached a point where everyone is outraged.

From receiving countless inexplicable glares while dining at restaurants, to having her tires punctured three tis in a week.

Incidents like these are countless.

So, the word ’kindness’ has nothing to do with Nan Wan.

"In this world, kindness is useless. You need to be beautiful, and have a good family background."

Mu Jin Huan thought that there couldn’t be a more straightforward and realistic statent than this.

He raised his hand to tuck her loose strands behind her ear, as if he had done it many tis before, naturally, "Which one don’t you have?"

Nan Wan’s gaze lightly fell on the second button of the man’s shirt, not really looking at anything, just finding a place for her eyes to rest, her fingertips unconsciously stroking the bow on the plush toy’s chest.

Thinking like this, aside from beauty, she seed to have nothing.

"I have sothing to do, so I won’t disturb Mr. Mu."

The implication: You’re in my way, could you move aside?

Mu Jin Huan still stood in the sa place, not showing the slightest intention of letting her leave, and spoke leisurely, "I ca down the stairs, to get ahead of you, it only took less than a minute."

Hearing his words, Nan Wan raised her head to et the man’s deep gaze, a soft smile spreading across her face, "Here to collect a debt?"

Indeed, Nan Wan still owed Mr. Mu a al.

Mu Jin Huan stepped closer to her slowly, his voice low and heavy, "You could understand it that way."

As the man approached, Nan Wan could clearly feel the air around them growing thinner, her grip on the teddy bear tightening slightly, "Sorry, I’m not in the mood today."

Didn’t he have a lovely lady accompanying him?

Mu Jin Huan’s thin lips parted slightly, speaking unhurriedly, "When you’re in the mood, I might not have ti, or do you want to keep dragging this out?"

What he said made perfect sense, no flaw at all.

Nan Wan closed her eyes briefly, conceding, "Then you pick the place."

Mu Jin Huan looked at her lowered head, a faint smile playing on his lips, even his deep eyes brimd with amusent, perhaps unnoticed even by himself.

...

Nan Wan drove herself, placing the conspicuous plush toy in the back seat, and returned to the driver’s seat. While fastening her seatbelt, she casually asked, "Which one?"

Mu Jin Huan lowered the window, his arm lazily resting on the window fra, a hint of fatigue hidden between his brows, "I’m not too familiar with Qing City yet."

Nan Wan understood; he was asking this local to recomnd a restaurant.

Starting the car, she drove along the road, "Chinese or Western cuisine?"

Mu Jin Huan closed his dark eyes slightly, his slender fingers pressing on his temples, answering lowly and deeply, "Chinese, I suppose."

So, Nan Wan listed five or six famous Chinese restaurants in Qing City, but he could always find so fault with them, implying he wasn’t satisfied with any.

Nan Wan lost her patience. Oh, he wasn’t satisfied with her choices, so what was the point of asking her to choose?

"Decide in two minutes, if Mr. Mu still can’t settle for one, I’ll have to trouble you to get out of the car."

Upon hearing this, Mu Jin Huan slowly opened his eyes, the weariness in them now vanished.

He lowered the hand by his temples, resting it on the window sill, his distinct fingers tapping alternately, "Anywhere will do?"
