Ye Xian, startled by the "Wolf Howl," cautiously moved within the wine cellar.

Suddenly, a strong and shimring light bead down from above her, firmly encasing her.

As if under a spell, she froze in place, motionless, and after a while, she incredulously raised her head to gaze at the glaring source of light.

Light?

There was light coming.

Soone was bringing light to find her.

Behind the dazzling light, a tall and slender figure swayed, and even though she couldn’t see his face clearly, she felt as if she could sense his presence—as familiar as anything could be.

The figure flickered a few tis, then put away the light source and brushed aside the obstacles.

The clear moonlight poured through the mottled tree shadows, and Ye Xian could finally see the man’s face. Her mind had a mont of lucidity, vividly rembering that in a recent pitch-dark and perilous night, this figure had also crossed tall buildings, shattered glass, and, with stars overhead, approached her.

Like a deity descending from the sky, he ca with imnse concern and warmth to embrace her.

And like a dawn, exclusively for her, illuminating her world.

Bo Tingshen turned on the flashlight and imdiately saw Ye Xian below. His heart, pounding anxiously, finally settled down, and he hurried down the steps.

The mont he reached her, Ye Xian stood up abruptly and threw herself into his arms.

"Wow! Wuuuu... you finally ca, wuuuu!"

"Do you know, I was almost scared to death!"

Tears that had been held back for so long now gushed forth in torrents.

Bo Tingshen was stunned for a mont by her embrace, then wrapped his arms tightly around her, his heart nearly crushed by the fearful sobs in his ear.

"Xianxian, Xianxian, I’m sorry, I’m late."

"Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid..."

He gently patted her back, kissing her hair, forehead, and teary eyes with the utmost tenderness, as if cherishing the apple of his eye, "Baby, don’t be afraid, I’m here now."

"Are you hurt anywhere? Or does sothing hurt?"

He tried to check her body but was held tightly by the petite woman, unwilling to let go.

Ye Xian’s face was buried in his chest, like a small beast finding shelter from the storm, her weeping gradually reduced to whimpering sobs.

Bo Tingshen, listening to her sounds, wished he could ld her into his body, a wave of frustration welling up within him.

"Baby, stop crying, I won’t leave you alone again, never ever."

"Mmm..."

Ye Xian lay on the broad and warm chest of the man, feeling the constant heat from his skin, along with the ceaseless caresses and reassurances from his large palm on the back of her head. Her sobs slowly abated, becoming intermittent.

Her guardian angel was the best in the world.

By nature, she was carefree and resilient, able to rebound from any hurt with just a piece of candy and a few soothing words.

Bo Tingshen, sensing her feelings gradually stabilizing, held his hand as if afraid he might run away, sighed, cradled her little face, and closed his eyes to place a deep kiss between her brows.

In his twenty-seven years, untainted by emotion, he never knew what it was like to worry so deeply for soone, nor how agonizing it was to hear soone cry in his arms.

How he wished, so deeply, to keep her tied to his side, visible every mont of every day.

Ye Xian felt a warmth between her brows, looked up at the loving face of the man close to her, blinked puzzlingly, her mind short-circuiting.

She tried to push him away, but because he held her so tightly, she couldn’t.

"What’s wrong?"

Bo Tingshen opened his eyes, the deep and profound light in them as soft as the moon above.

"Who are you?"

Ye Xian’s eyes widened, round and curious as she looked at him, clearly still not sober from the alcohol.

"It’s so strange, you have three heads! But..."

As she spoke, she suddenly bit her finger, giggling shyly, "All three are so handso, handsor than any male celebrities and models I’ve seen in the entertainnt industry!"

"Really?"

Bo Tingshen’s handso brows lifted slightly, a pleasing curve appearing on his lips as the tips of his fingers gently caressed her tipsy, blurred little face, "So, do you like it?"

Ye Xian nodded honestly, liking it, of course!

Who wouldn’t like a handso man, especially one that’s outrageously so!

Bo Tingshen: "I’m your man."

"Ah? My man?!"

Ye Xian was shocked, pointing to herself, her mouth forming an o shape.

"Really? Are you truly my man?"

"Mhm, yours alone."

Ye Xian: "!" Momma! I’ve made it, sohow netting such a handso ’cabbage’!

"No, I must be dreaming!"

Ye Xian shook her head only to feel dizzier with each movent.

"If you don’t believe , I’ll prove it to you when we get back."

Bo Tingshen went to wrap his arm around her waist and take her upstairs, but as soon as Ye Xian moved, she let out a pained howl, "Owww, so painful~"

"What’s wrong?"

Bo Tingshen’s gaze tightened, he turned on the light of the wine cellar and then noticed her left ankle swollen prominently.

"My ankle hurts~"

Ye Xian, hanging onto his clothing, coquettishly pleaded to her man, "I want hubby to massage it~"

At the word ’hubby,’ Bo Tingshen felt like a bolt from the blue striking him. He lifted his head incredulously to look at her, his eyes filled with eager anticipation, "What did you call ?"

Preventing her denial post-drunkenness, he took out his phone, ready to record.

Ye Xian, however, scratched her head, looking at him curiously. What was her na again?

"I am Oreo!"

"..."

Bo Tingshen sat her down in a nearby chair and knelt on one knee before her, gently rolled up her pant leg, and upon seeing the shockingly red and swollen ankle, he felt both distressed and reminded her, "Even if it’s the inebriated talk, I’ll take it seriously, you won’t get away with pretending you never said anything."

Completely intoxicated, Ye Xian had no idea what he was talking about; it just felt painful when he touched her ankle, "Ouch, ouch, it’s killing , stop it, it hurts so much~"

"Shh, I’ll be gentle."

Bo Tingshen cradled her ankle, rubbing gently, carefully controlling his strength, afraid of hurting her more, "Bear with it, it won’t hurt after a while."

"You’re lying! It hurts, still hurts... eh?"

After he massaged it for a bit, the warmth from his palm began to spread, pressing against her skin, and indeed... it didn’t seem to hurt as much.

Ye Xian, with her drunken cat-like head, stared unblinkingly at him.

Her man was really handso, his every posture so refined and noble, like an emperor high above, with a pair of pitch-black Feather Jade Eyebrows shaped perfectly, a rare find in ten thousand miles, eyes both deep and slender, pupils black like precious Yao Stones, shimring with a gleam.

A proud nose, thin lips, and a well-defined contour, like he was sculpted stroke by stroke by the world’s top artist with a magic brush, flawless.

Especially when he was focused on sothing, he looked so enchanting it was as if he could steal one’s soul away.
