Xi Ruochu had been in the circle for almost a year, and she could tell at a glance that this was an excuse from Pang Kai.
President Bo’s ti was so precious, every minute and second equated to money; if she did not go in now, President Bo and Ye Xian would finish discussing their matters and he would leave imdiately.

In the lounge, Bo Tingshen was pulling his arm out from Ye Xian’s embrace, casually rolling up his sleeves as he seed to be whispering sothing to her.
Pang Kai sighed in relief, the CEO had finished?
"President Bo, you’ve co to visit the set?"
Xi Ruochu walked in with a smile blooming on her face, eagerly extending her hand, "I am Xi Ruochu, a newcor under ng Fei at Starlight Entertainnt!"
"Hmm."
The man just humd faintly, seemingly not noticing her outstretched hand.
His brief and indifferent response cooled the atmosphere instantly.
Xi Ruochu was at a loss for words, not knowing what to say.
It appeared President Bo was just as high and aloof as the rumors suggested, completely unattainable!
Seeing Ye Xian with her head down next to her, Xi Ruochu had a spark of inspiration!
President Bo had specifically co to the lounge to speak with Ye Xian, which likely ant their relationship was very good; using Ye Xian as a leverage seed like an excellent choice.
"President Bo, did you see Ye Xian act when you arrived today?"
"I saw."
Indeed, as soon as Ye Xian was ntioned, he spoke more!
"What do you think? Isn’t she exceptional? I think out of our whole team, Ye Xian has the best acting skills. I beca a fan after watching just once!"
Ye Xian, tornted by the impending doom of servitude and how to possibly make the CEO change his order, was stricken with indecision and did not absorb a word of Xi Ruochu’s flattery.
Xi Ruochu: "Of course, not only is Ye Xian’s acting great, but her character is wonderful too. Every day after shooting, she would take and a bunch of supporting actors to play gas from evening till deep into the night. It’s aweso!"

The more Ye Xian heard, the more sothing seed off, staring at her in disbelief, What are you blabbing, girl? It’s just a few gas at leisure, isn’t it an exaggeration?
"CEO, don’t listen to her rambling..."
Just as Ye Xian began to explain to Bo Tingshen, it was too late, his face gloomy as a cloudy day, "From evening till deep into the night, Ye Xian, is that what you ant by ’busy’ earlier?"

Ye Xian chased after him, but returned a few minutes later to find Xi Ruochu sneakily eating her strawberry cake.
Xi Ruochu, holding the cake, looked puzzled, "Why didn’t you chase after him?"
Ye Xian gave a cold laugh, "Do you think my two legs can catch up with his four wheels?"
"Can’t catch up," Xi Ruochu said, "But it’s strange, what did I say wrong? Why did he suddenly get angry?"
"You! Shut! Up!"
Ye Xian wanted to kick her flying.
All her acting and hard work, all that effort she had put onwas frivolously ruined by a single sentence from Ruochu. Now, it was over; no excuse could save her, and she would have to go back and dutifully play the role of a servant!

Xiao Nan ca over with a glass of water and handed it to Luo Yuwei, who was sitting on the hospital bed lost in thought, "Sister Yuwei, drink so water. The doctor said you just have mild heatstroke. You can work after you rest a bit."

Luo Yuwei took the water, muttering to herself, "What kind of woman would a man like him fall for?"
