When Ye Xian woke up again, a faint sll of disinfectant filled her nostrils. She slowly opened her eyes to see a ceiling as white as new.
Was she in the hospital? It didn’t feel as itchy anymore, but it felt sowhat numb.
Just as she was about to get up, she realized… she couldn’t move at all! Startled, she reached out in front of her and saw her arms and hands wrapped tightly, looking just like a mummy.
An allergic reaction wouldn’t leave her paralyzed, would it?
“Shaowen, don’t worry, the test results are out, it’s just a pollen allergy. The pollen carried toxins, which caused the initial discomfort, but we’ve managed to stop it. With further treatnt and rest, there should be no major problems from now on,”
Vague voices of doctors could be heard outside the ward. Just as Ye Xian was about to call out to him, the sound of her own voice surprised her, “Doctor, co in and talk…”

Startled, she shakily reached for a mirror on the table beside her with her mummy-like hand.

“What happened?” Ye Shaowen, hearing the scream, pushed open the door in alarm, “Xiao Yezi, what’s wrong?”
“Why have I turned into a pig?” Ye Xian’s visibly shocked and panicked eyes were the only part of her face not wrapped in bandages.
Doctor: “? What?”
So that was it~ Shaowen sighed in relief, kissed her bandage-wrapped head with a smile, “You’re allergic to pollen all over your body, so your face is no exception.”
“Am I going to be sent back to Huirong or not!”
Ye Shaowen: “What are you thinking, of course not!”
“Wuuu~” Ye Xian pouted with her swollen lips, disbelief all over her face, “You’re lying to , let the doctor say it!”
The siblings both looked towards the doctor, who had a face full of question marks: “???” I don’t understand the Martian language between you two.

“You’re still talking!” Ye Shaowen almost wanted to smack her but seeing her pitiful yet adorable wrapped-up form, he restrained himself, “Did you know when you rushed into my arms today totally covered in rashes, my heart almost stopped! You nearly scared to death!”
As Ye Shaowen recalled picking her up at the airport in that condition, his heart couldn’t stop fluttering. He couldn’t imagine what he would do if sothing really had happened to Xiao Yezi…
“Oh co on, second brother is the best, see, I’m fine,” Ye Xian embraced Ye Shaowen with her mummy-like body, tilting her head to act coquettishly. Ye Shaowen’s heart lted instantly. “By the way, you didn’t tell mom and dad, did you?”
