There were several red marks gathering near a green one... and one of the red marks was bigger than the others.
"I think... I should check it..." He hesitated. "But... they’re low level. Which ans, the mont they see —they’ll attack. Then I’m damned! ...Well, no ti to think. Just take a look."
He tapped the panel, pulling out a drink.

He gulped it down. Suddenly, his hands, legs, and even his body began to fade—becoming transparent. He was invisible.

Suddenly, a low-level hyena lunged at him, its fangs almost tearing through his head.

Hyenas with bloodthirsty eyes circled him, their fangs bared. They could attack at any mont... and divide him among themselves.
"Heheheh... I’m dead this ti, for sure."
His legs trembled in fear and couldn’t stop his body from shaking.
"Hah..." He took a deep breath, forcing himself to focus on the hyenas.
At that mont, he heard so creeping, dead-like voice flowing into his ear.
"Help... He..."
"What was that sound?" He was a bit confused and afraid.
Suddenly, sothing grabbed his leg with a slimy hand, and he heard the sa voice again.
"Help... He..."
He instantly looked and was terrified .
"It’s a zombie... Ah..."
A person, bleeding from all over her body, her face hidden beneath the blood, clung to him.
"Ah... Ah!" He moved his leg fast to separate it.
The hyenas were also trying to attack him. He was dodging their strikes, and anwhile, she held onto his leg.
"Hey... I’m... not... a zombie... save... ..."
She fell unconscious to the ground.

He tried to dodge, but the hyena’s claw grazed him, leaving a deep cut—blood dripping down his side.
Gritting his teeth, he pulled out a healing potion and drank it.

She was recovering—the potion was working. Her injuries were external, so they weren’t life-threatening.

He glanced back—the wolves were fighting fiercely, but they were outnumbered by the hyenas.

He was terrified to look back.

The other hyenas also started howling.
He felt sothing coming close from behind—almost hitting him. He grabbed the Girl tightly.
