"I get it now," Ian said with a serious expression while Ethan was running toward the army of monsters in the north. "That guy… he completely gave in to his inner demons."
"What?" Emily frowned.
"You know, people like us had to undergo so therapy after returning to Earth, right?" Ian said. "I didn't need it, and you probably didn't need it as well. Considering that Ethan also ca to the school on the second day after his return, the higher-ups considered he was also fine, but they were wrong."

One by one, a new monster attacked him until he was almost getting crushed by a massive pile of devourers.
"Explosive… Impact," Ethan muttered.
The pile of monsters moved to the side the mont his sword hit a devourer. Thanks to it, Ethan recovered the control over his body a little bit, and with a single swing of his sword, he beheaded the several devourers that were biting him. At the sa ti, the pain disappeared, and the wounds healed.
