On the return journey, the city streets remained bustling, like a city that never sleeps. It seed to be influenced by Xuange God City’s Colorful Pavilion of Mount Xia, with many buildings having this retro feel.

Zhu Minglang walked on the bustling roads, like soone famous but unemployed. He knew that not long ago he stood at the pinnacle of gods, fundantally supposed to be as proud as the God Emperor, yet Zhu Minglang involuntarily integrated into the crowd, pondering an intriguing question in his mind...

"How co it’s you again, have you gathered enough money?" As he reached the stone bridge, a girl with wheat-colored skin and crescent eyes asked.

Zhu Minglang didn’t notice this girl at all and glared at her impatiently, "I’m not interested in your stuff, my dragon is now drinking Immortal Dew."

"Alright then, as long as you think that makes you happy." The girl rolled her eyes and continued to greet other passing custors.

She wasn’t selling worldly honey; she was trying to find those Loose Immortals among the crowd, needing a discerning eye.

Zhu Minglang felt a suffocating sensation in his chest. Why doesn’t the good get passed down, but this sharp tongue does!

Zhu Minglang held back this ti, but next ti he would definitely arrange things clearly for her!

Just as he was about to cross the stone bridge, suddenly a surprised cry ca from the flower-selling girl.

Zhu Minglang turned around, only to find the girl enveloped in a layer of dark light of void, like a bundle of black moon rays concentrated, accurately descending upon her.

Zhu Minglang’s face showed a look of astonishnt.

This instantly reminded him of Zhu Xuehen disappearing before his eyes, was it the Black God’s Trace at work???

Zhu Minglang hurriedly looked up, only to discover a black shadowy Dragon Gate in the sky. If not for his strong Divine Sense, he might not have detected its presence at all.

The moonlight engraved it with a mysterious and sacred outline, yet it resembled an eye from another world, hanging incongruously above the mortal realm, overlooking, scrutinizing, searching...

"Help , help !!" The girl, who had never seen such a scene, cried out in alarm.

On the stone bridge, people continued to co and go, but her nearby cries failed to draw any attention. They could not see this scene, nor hear the girl’s pleas!

"What’s going on, what’s happening, I just stepped out of the Dragon Gate, I’ve completed the test, why..." At this mont, the nearby book-selling god also voiced his discontent.

Zhu Minglang looked over and found the small book-selling owner similarly enveloped in this eerie light, like soone chosen by heaven, and from his cries, it seed he mistook this glow as the Dragon Gate’s call, the divine test every God Chosen and Celestial Chosen must endure!

Zhu Minglang was equally puzzled, unable to distinguish whether this was the Black God’s Trace or the response from the Dragon Gate.

Every so often, the Dragon Gate would summon God Chosen into it to undergo a test, much like when he entered the Dragon Gate for the first ti.

In the mortal realm, many special God Codes also existed, and those who obtain them qualify to enter the Dragon Gate. In most gods’ understanding, to beco a True God, one must accept this baptism from the Dragon Gate!

In other words, a new cycle of True God selection had begun, and the Dragon Gate would throw those wandering God Chosen into the suitable Dragon Gate Ninth Heaven.

Zhu Minglang jumped to a higher place, indeed finding that in Xuantian Capital, more than just these two Dragon Gate summon lights appeared, as if each had a bright moon above their heads, creating gentle light bridges, guiding these God Chosen to another world.

However, the Dragon Gate summon lights exceeded his expectations, with thousands upon thousands in the four major capitals of Xuantian Capital, continuously increasing!

Soon, the bodies of those people lost traction, slowly drifting towards the other side of the summon lights.

In an instant, Xuantian Capital seed to have entered a kite festival, with countless beings emitting faint soul glow on rooftops, glazed tiles, city walls, eaves, still in the mortal realm, yet like soaking in a buoyancy-filled void ocean, gradually floating to the true sea level...

Their number was imnsely vast. For a mont, the sky over Xuantian Capital sparkled like a star sea, and these gods uniquely reflected the stars in the night sky, weaving an incomparably magnificent Manifold Celestial Star Chart between heaven and city, perfectly corresponding their Divine Lights with starlight, moonshine, Sun Crown, and Heavenly Radiance!!

Zhu Minglang showed a look of shock!

Isn’t the Dragon Gate’s selection supposed to be for so God Chosen?

How could it possibly include all the gods this ti!!

The entire godly population of Xuantian Capital was chosen???

None seem to be left out!

Just as Zhu Minglang was deeply puzzled, a light appeared on him as well, wrapping him without warning, and then slowly, slowly lifting him into the air, his body floating like in water, yet unable to swim.

Zhu Minglang stared at the bizarre Dragon Gate, taking a deep breath. Although he was sowhat capable of escaping this light, Zhu Minglang still let it take him to a higher place, wanting to see what exactly was happening here.

After floating in the air, Zhu Minglang observed the mortal realm.

Noticing that the mortal realm hadn’t changed one bit; such a scene should’ve attracted countless citizens’ attention.

Yet they were completely oblivious to these happenings, seemingly only the chosen gods could gaze at each other!

As Zhu Minglang looked further away, through Divine Sense, he heard voices coming from all directions, most were expressions of terror and confusion.

When Zhu Minglang gazed to the even more distant star sea night sky, he found these stars too were radiating the sa Divine Light, enveloping the respective gods!

Each star represented a god.

Now, every god seed marked by these stars!

Not only the gods of Xuantian Capital, but all gods across Xuantian were enveloped by Dragon Gate’s summon light, and all were floating into the sky!!

Zhu Minglang couldn’t believe such a scene could unfold.

Clearly, he was awaiting the final Azure Calamity, yet why usher in such a spectacle.

Why have the Black God’s Trace and the Dragon Gate combined together??

Zhu Minglang attempted to use his Divine Sense to ascertain any useful information, hoping to learn the mysteries from so knowledgeable deities.

Yet, Zhu Minglang underestimated the mystery of the person behind such a grand change, finding himself, an imminent divine being, completely ignorant of everything happening before him!

It cannot be that there are still deities above !

The Dragon Gate stands suspended, with gods floating, a magnificent spectacle forged by the dazzling Star Sea and splendid Divine Souls, which mankind seems to have no response to whatsoever, as if these millions of deities are being forcefully brought into an unknown dinsion, away from this bustling and beautiful human world!

Finally, all the deities stopped rising.

They hovered densely on a plane, with the mystical and solemn Black God’s Trace Dragon Gate above them!

At this mont, a door of the Dragon Gate slowly opened.

The Dragon Gate the deities always ntioned truly has a door!

Sacred as the heavenly halls are, yet the other side of the door seems more like a true God Realm!!

This ti, is it to drag all deities into the Dragon Gate for real divine selection???

Yet this ti, Zhu Minglang did not feel that irresistible command, as he and millions of other gods alike remained in a state of suspension, releasing a ti wave to the entire world, uncertain whether they awaited disassembly or direct passage.

"What’s going on!"

"Does anyone know what happened??"

"Does the Immortal Respect know Heaven’s secrets??"

"Emperors Elder, please decipher for everyone!"

"Accept fate peacefully."

"Which deities can take responsibility for this??"

"Everyone stay calm, and wait quietly. Whoever can summon such a power and gather all Nine Heavens deities surely demands our awe and respect. Don’t be restless!"

"Is it the true essence of the Heavens??"

"Nonsense, there is no real Heavens in the world!"

"I am Emperor Youtian, Chang’e. Dare to ask which supre being enacts this spell, and what command is bestowed upon us who roam the Nine Heavens Wilderness, please reveal yourself to avoid unnecessary fear." Emperor Youtian spoke.

anwhile, the various Sky Emperors from Nine Heavens also stood out inquiring for instruction.

Great and small deities were "invited" up!

Is sothing about to happen plunging the Nine Heavens Wilderness into an inevitable catastrophe?

Zhu Minglang, as the divine selection, felt more and more unqualified. How can such significant events occur without his knowledge as one domain of the Heavens!

"All of you can begin by gazing closely at the mortal world below."

At last, a woman’s voice slowly echoed from the Dragon Gate.

Responding to her words, thousands and thousands of divine beings breathed a sigh of relief inwardly.

"Does the Heavens have any instructions?" Emperor Youtian cautiously asked.

"Simply gaze, gaze well." The woman in the Dragon Gate replied.

The gods, though confused, followed this will from the Heavens and began to gaze.

The gods gazed for a very long ti.

From night gauze to dawn, then from dawn to morning glow, finally, Emperor Youtian started asking, "We have gazed."

No response.

Yet, under the dawn’s brilliant edge, amidst the shimr, the gods could vaguely see the graceful silhouette of the Dragon Gate woman standing there, gazing at mountains, rivers, and the smoke-filled mortal world like the thousands and thousands of gods.

Ti kept flowing, so gods grew impatient, and so alien Gods and Demon Gods expressed their displeasure.

Yet, they were helpless in resisting.

The force was so mysterious and powerful; they had no qualification to break free.

Just like this, thousands of gods from Nine Heavens were forced to hover and forced to gaze.

Day after day passed, and the gods began to grow weary.

But after weariness, they could only helplessly continue to gaze, and during the process, many gods began to reminisce.

Many gods gradually realized that even without gods, this mortal world seed to operate as usual, not in chaos, despair, nor unable to survive without faith in this world.

In fact, so places were progressing in a better direction, even the most humble and insignificant person seed to have gained his own aning!

So gods began to reflect.

So gods started to feel anxious.

So gods even felt annoyed!

"We followed your instructions, and this ti of contemplation indeed had a significant impact on us. We gods are indeed arrogant and self-important, and we will improve our shortcomings in the future... However, dragging it out like this will cause unnecessary resentnt, so please enlighten us on what you need us to do." Emperor Youtian finally couldn’t help but ask.

"I’m not interested in what you feel in your hearts. I let you contemplate just to have you say goodbye in your hearts," said the Dragon Gate woman.

"Say goodbye to the mortal world?? But we gods have rarely interfered in the mortal world and have always been self-disciplined," said Emperor Youtian.

"You need to make a choice," the Dragon Gate woman’s voice beca powerful, containing an intent that pierced deep into the soul!

Irresistible!!

Irresistible!!

Irresistible!!!

These four words surfaced in all the gods’ minds, causing them to beco uneasy, and begin to panic!

"You will enter the heavens, or return to the mortal world," the woman began to elaborate, her voice imprinting into their minds!

The heavens?? Where are the heavens??

Almost all the gods were filled with this doubt.

There is no real heaven in the world. The so-called Immortal Court God Realm is only an area that gods created using their spells that’s hard for mortals to reach, but there is no true isolation or prohibition, as there is still intercommunication.

"This is the heaven." The Dragon Gate woman pointed at the gate behind her, leading to the Dragon Gate world!

"Dragon Gate Ninth Heaven???"

"How is that the heavens!!"

"Dragon Gate is the Asura Field, a place to test the god chosen, how could it be the heavens!"

Everyone was shocked and they began to doubt the woman’s identity, starting to have voices of skepticism.

"This heaven is in a primitive stage, where you will have incredibly long, even eternal lives, allowing you to create the heaven you want little by little," the woman continued.

"That is Dragon Gate, where we’ll wander inside in our Divine Travel Body Shells. We regard you as the heavens; why do you treat us as fools??" At this point, the Southern Emperor Elder of Juntian angrily spoke.

"What’s the difference?" the woman retorted.

"The mortal world is the mortal world, and Dragon Gate is Dragon Gate, there’s a big difference!" said the Southern Emperor Elder.

"That’s why you need to make a choice: the mortal world or Dragon Gate heaven," the woman said.

"We still do not quite understand. The god chosen will enter Dragon Gate to take your test, most of us gods here have had such experiences. After passing the test, you gain divine power and beco worshipped gods in the world, and we’ve always followed this rule. What’s different this ti??" asked Emperor Youtian.

"The difference this ti is that the Dragon Gate heaven will open for the last ti. Gods entering it will never be able to return to the land you are gazing at now," the woman said.

This statent burst out like thunder and rain, sparking discussions among thousands of gods across the Nine Heavens, and those gods who didn’t speak also had faces full of doubt, lancholy, shock, and panic...

"Why... why?? You, honored as the heavens, why do you do this, why do you want to completely separate us from this beautiful mortal world??" Emperor Youtian once again voiced his dissatisfaction and doubts!

"Reason?" The Dragon Gate woman was evidently not an emotionless machine; she paused, as if reminiscing many past events, and eventually she gave her explanation,

"I was once a mortal, enduring the suffering every person experiences in the mortal world. However, as I grew, the so-called suffering gradually turned into invaluable mories, bringing happiness and reminding to cherish the present..."

"As a god, I felt the sches and ruthlessness among gods, competing to ascend. I wished to be a god who could protect the people and establish order, but no matter how earnest I was, I couldn’t escape causality. A small decision of mine could save millions, yet a mistake of mine could doom the sa number to annihilation. In the struggle of gods, mortals are even less than dust, fragile and humble..."

"Gods are too powerful, and once one becos a god, the creatures of a Star Continent can be annihilated in one thought. Creatures are too insignificant, if they do not rely on the belief in gods, they have no reason to exist."

"There are many injustices in the world, impossible to eliminate all."

"But the greatest injustice is to place gods and ordinary spirits in the sa world, allowing gods to continuously swell with arrogance due to worship and divine authority, forcing billions of creatures to undergo countless cycles of life and death just to barely survive..."

"Gods and ordinary spirits will be forever separated—this is the first decision I made after becoming the heavens, and also the only decision." The woman enunciated word for word.

If the previous statent was thunder and rain exploding, then this statent was even more like flaming burning sky!!

Gods and spirits will be separated!!

Gods entering Dragon Gate heaven will gain so-called immortality.

But the price is to never set foot in the mortal world again!

"But I don’t want to enter that Dragon Gate heaven. I have a wife, and my wife is a mortal!" At this mont, a minor god who looked like an official said.

"You can also choose to return to the mortal world, your divine power will vanish, and like mortals, you will feel the cycle of birth, aging, illness, and death. The path to cultivate into a god will close, and even if soone miraculously becos a god, he will face the sa choice: release his spirit root to return to the mortal world, or ascend to Dragon Gate heaven and leave the mortal world," the woman said.

Either enter the heavens and attain immortality in the Dragon Gate Ninth Heaven.

But most of them were well aware of what Dragon Gate is like.

It’s primitive and wilderness, even if there is a certain aura of human civilization, compared to the currently prosperous and flourishing Nine Heavens Wilderness mortal world, it is far less, and due to the nature of the Divine Travel Body Shell, so senses and touch are not as authentic as flesh.

As for the mortal world, it is evidently more rich and colorful, with bonds of gratitude and enmity, as well as birdsong and the fragrance of flowers. However, lifespan remains an insurmountable threshold. No king standing in the supre position of humanity doesn’t yearn for the path of immortality. Even if the door to immortality is closed to them, they will exhaust their entire court to allow themselves the freedom to beco immortal.

A black totemic sail, sotis visible and sotis hidden under the shifting light of Heavenly Radiance, hangs mysteriously alongside the Dragon Gate over the heads of the gods. Together, they release a force that leaves the myriad deities powerless to resist.

At this mont, their power seems utterly stripped... Or rather, it should be said that the Black God’s Trace and the Dragon Gate have reclaid their powers.

All are like drowning n floating on the ocean’s surface; only these two choices lie before them!

"We have never yearned for the aningless human world. The mundane and I are inherently incompatible. The Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm is truly suited for . Fellow gods, I, Fei Xi, shall take the lead and wait for you at Heaven on the Ninth Layer of Heaven to co and worship!" said one deity without any hesitation.

Though the Dragon Gate may have many shortcomings, the promise of eternal life is enough to attract many cultivators.

The older one grows, the more easily one becos ruled by the dream of immortality. Now, a gate to eternal life opens before them; why hesitate?

As the female Azure God stated, whatever kind of heavenly realm they desire, they can cultivate and forge it themselves. They have endless years to complete it!

With Fei Xi leading, gradually, so began to make the choice to head toward the Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm.

Those who did not hesitate were mostly old deities.

Bear in mind so old gods reaching the end of their lifespan would even resort to depraved acts such as robbing the divine code from younger divine chosen, just to enter the Dragon Gate.

On one hand, the passage of ti within the Dragon Gate does not affect one’s current lifespan; on the other hand, if one ascends to a higher heaven and gains a higher divine form, their lifespan limit would also rise.

Having spent the latter half of their lives fighting to enter the Dragon Gate, now with a path to Heaven laid before them to beco an immortal enjoying eternal life, why not?

Gradually, the deities made their choices.

Yet, those who made such resolute decisions were all those who flew into the Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm!

"The ti the Dragon Gate is open is limited. Please consider earnestly, as once a decision is made, it cannot be undone," the woman said calmly.

The dispute was imnse, each heavenly god had their own thoughts, and attempts were made to unite and do sothing.

So were not inclined to make such a choice.

However, judging by this female Azure God’s attitude, this is by no ans a choice that is fair and just for all.

This is her decree.

Like a founding law!

This is her decree of creation, the world can’t coexist with gods and mortals. Ordinary spirits are too fragile and lowly in a world with deities, yet the entire world’s operation can’t do without the breath of ordinary spirits; they bring color to the world, unlike the primitive wilderness of the Dragon Gate.

And whether gods devote themselves to their people or solely pursue ascension for divine power, as long as they exist, they are a form of obliteration to ordinary spirits, the greatest source of catastrophe for the world.

To establish a true order, including the supre Azure God, no matter how they restrain and specify, cannot guarantee that a thousand years later the Nine Heavens Wilderness won’t shatter again. Only by truly leaving, not disturbing, can the overly large tearing force disappear from this world, reaching another plane...

Although not every being can receive a fair and just treatnt from the heavens, their chance of survival is indeed increased, allowing each living body to lead a more aningful existence.

The world will complain and rage, questioning the heavens, why so unjust?

In fact, what the heavens can do is rely this, letting you survive, avoiding unwarranted disasters in the struggles among deities.

To possess the power to question and curse the world’s injustice is far better than such ashes-like humiliation and insignificance!

"As far as I know, the Azure God should have two entities," just then, the Emperor Youtian slowly spoke.

Ultimately, too many are unable to make a decision, enamored with the various beauties of the mortal realm, unwilling to abandon the great opportunity of eternal life.

The woman standing in the Dragon Gate made no reply.

"I wonder what the other heavenly entity thinks, whether he agrees with your decree?" Emperor Youtian was evidently a true god who glimpsed into the heavenly mysteries. He didn’t blindly submit nor blindly oppose; he rely maintained skepticism and doubt.

This remark once again sparked intense debate; none of the deities had ever seen the true heavens.

At this mont, they were similar to the Supre Court Courtyard Continent, suddenly descended upon by a god.

To the deities, aren’t the heavens just like the gods in the eyes of ordinary spirits?

Hard to defy, yet full of perplexing aspects.

They could only cautiously probe.

"Heaven above, please grant us revelation!"

"Heaven above, please grant us revelation!!"

"Heaven above, please grant us revelation!!"

It was as if they returned to the most primitive tis, praying for rain in drought, sacrificing to the heavens, beasts rampant, praying to the gods...

The myriad of gods in the Nine Heavens felt imnsely lost, unsure of where to go. If there were only one heavenly entity, they would almost inevitably have to make a choice, to obey this decree of the Black God’s Trace heavenly entity; but if there was another heavenly entity, they must listen!

All deities placed their hope in the other heavenly entity.

They believed with his vast divine skills, he must be aware of all that is happening.

They needed a final answer, needed a final revelation, or they hoped this was rely the Black God’s Trace heavenly entity’s solitary decree!

Perhaps the two deities will clash over this matter, ushering in a new age of the gods!

The voices grew increasingly louder.

The gods still hope that the other Azure God will appear.

And in fact, so of the gods from Xuantian Capital know more or less who that Azure God is.

Thus, Xu Jiuyou and Bei Can of Xuantian Capital had already set their sights on Zhu Minglang, who was also floating beneath the Dragon Gate.

Gradually, more and more people focused on Zhu Minglang.

In truth, Zhu Minglang did not wish to step forward, but as the God of Nine Heavens looked his way one after another, he realized he could no longer hide his identity as the other deity...

Yet Zhu Minglang was still sowhat puzzled; there are nine Dragon Gates, which ans nine Azure Gods, where are the other seven?

The Emperor Youtian who glimpsed into destiny just said that there were only two deities.

This Black God’s Trace...

Previously appeared in Jun Tian, and in other Sky Fields too.

Is it possible to understand that the other seven Dragon Gate Azure Gods are either assimilated or have been resolved?

However, if it were myself, being tasked with issuing such a decree and standing equal amongst nine, I would indeed resolve the other eight!

In any case, the other seven colleagues can’t possibly make a sound.

Only I can speak out.

And Zhu Minglang also understood why he could speak out, neither assimilated nor dealt with.

"Cough, cough..."

Zhu Minglang knew he was the last hope among the countless gods of Nine Heavens, he had to step forward and lead the situation.

He shook his body and easily freed himself from the shroud of Dragon Gate Heavenly Radiance.

That mysterious floating power couldn’t restrain Zhu Minglang.

This scene also made all the gods’ eyes shine brightly.

Not being constrained by such power proved he was the other sole deity, after all, in the Nine Heavens Wilderness, no matter how high the cultivation base, no deity could move an inch under the Dragon Gate Heavenly Radiance.

"You may not be very aware of my family situation, but all along, my family affairs have been managed by my wife." Zhu Minglang cleared his throat and made this statent.

Ah??

You are husband and wife????

The complex emotions were written all over Emperor Youtian’s face, and the gods of Nine Heavens turned their expectant eyes into utter shock!!

They are husband and wife??

This Black God’s Trace deity and the White Dragon deity...

There’s no room for maneuver!

"Moreover, I also feel that separating ordinary spirits from gods would be beneficial for everyone." Zhu Minglang agreed.

In the Dragon Gate halo, Li Yunzi, standing before the Dragon Gate, was doing her best not to burst into laughter, fearing to ruin her dignified image, mainly because Zhu Minglang’s statent was too unexpected.

Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm, Nine Wild Mortal Realm.

Two gates.

Initially, when Zhu Minglang ca to this world, he mistakenly thought everything was orderly.

But after enduring various hardships, Zhu Minglang realized he was in an era where, after The Beginning of Heaven and Earth, there was no real order.

Asked where this world was wrong, Zhu Minglang could list a whole lot, most people could curse the heavens for days without repeating.

Yet when one really becos a deity, tasked to make improvents, one might just stand dumbfounded, completely at a loss.

Take Zhu Minglang himself, he didn’t know what to do as a deity.

Not interfering seed to be the greatest rcy.

Until Li Yunzi stood at the Dragon Gate and issued the current decree.

Zhu Minglang was initially as bewildered as all the gods, but after repeatedly gazing at the mortal world and pondering carefully, he beca increasingly convinced this decree would make everything better!

Transforming the original Wilderness Dragon Gate into the godly Heavenly Realm and granting the gods immortality.

To achieve a clean and clear mortal world.

Zhu Minglang knew Li Yunzi had been preparing for a long ti.

The other seven Azure Gods whose nas didn’t appear should have been a long and arduous struggle, but Li Yunzi persevered through centuries and triumphed.

Except when it ca to himself.

She stepped forward.

Her divine tribulation is likely himself.

There was originally only one deity.

If he denied her decree today.

All her efforts would be in vain!

Zhu Minglang understood Li Yunzi’s painstaking efforts.

Her decision today, conversely, filled Zhu Minglang with imnse relief.

Because it also proved she was the perfect choice for deity!

To seek such a truth amidst a chaotic world mixed with gods and spirits requires extre clarity.

The wife was chosen by himself, husband and wife should indeed unite, emotionally, Zhu Minglang unconditionally supports this decree.

The deity was also chosen by himself; drifting and sinking for many years, he knew well that what brought the most suffering to people was overly dominant divine power, logically, Zhu Minglang also agrees with this decree.

"And what about the two of you?"

"Are you two exempt from this law?"

"If the two deities set an example, what grievances could we have?"

At this mont, Emperor Youtian uttered these words.

"Indeed!"

"If all gods must abide, you two are also gods, you too must make choices between the mortal realm and the heavenly realm!"

"If all are treated equally, then please, you two, also follow this decree, otherwise, should there be existence breaking this divine rule, everything would be aningless, your descendants, your family, and gradually changing thoughts will eventually have this celestial rule devoured!"

"This decree inherently includes us, both he and I can’t escape it either," Li Yunzi calmly stated.

The power of Dragon Gate isn’t limitless.

If it were rely about controlling the Dragon Gate, gathering all gods into the Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm, Li Yunzi and Zhu Minglang as the Dragon Gate Azure Gods could indeed escape this rule.

But likewise, with so imnsely skilled Heavenly Gods, it would also be possible to escape using various thods.

To ensure there are no loopholes, Li Yunzi incorporated the Black God’s Trace power.

The Dragon Gate represents Yang, Black God’s Trace represents Yin.

Yin and Yang rged together, no god in the world could escape, including herself and Zhu Minglang.

These words led the gods to have no more doubts.

In fact, they were rely struggling in desperation.

How could there be no unruly troublemakers, they would use so so-called human and divine rights to protest and vent.

Yet Li Yunzi wouldn’t bother to deal with them.

To such individuals, she simply needed to strip their divine forms and use strength to tell them she is the deity, and her decision is not to be defied!

"Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm will close when the sun sets. By then, those who have not flown into the Dragon Gate will be deed to have abandoned immortal forms, returning to ordinary mortal realms." After speaking these words, Li Yunzi said no more.

The rest is about making choices.

...

On the ground, a beautiful lady adorned with a scarf stood at a mountain pavilion.

She possessed a pair of unique eyes, able to see the gods.

But she was still a mortal.

She was one of the few mortals able to witness the spectacular celestial scene in the sky and could hear the gods talking to each other.

She was the wife of the deity who looked like a literary officer, and her heart brimd with imnse relief, for when the Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm was ntioned, her husband had expressed he wasn’t interested in it, he had his mortal wife.

The sun gradually set, and the gods began to make choices.

As this wife hoped her husband would descend from the ethereal clouds into her embrace, she saw her husband, without turning his head, heading towards the elusive...

She stood there stunned.

Having been excited and expectant for so many days.

The outco was as it was.

She even felt imnse fear and unfamiliarity, the smile on her husband’s face when he went to the Dragon Gate was sothing she had never seen before...

...

Immortality, destined to be lonely.

Even if lingering in the mortal world, close relatives will eventually depart.

The choices made by the Gods also result in their own joys and sorrows of separation and reunion.

...

Zhu Minglang looked at the sunset’s afterglow, rendering the mortal world with splendor and diversity.

He looked up again at the Dragon Gate; he had indeed experienced everything there, but ultimately chose to forget.

In Zhu Minglang’s heart, the answer had long been clear.

Moreover, Zhu Minglang knew very well, this was the only way for both himself and Little White to avoid the Great Catastrophe.

The reincarnation physique he and Little White possessed was destined not to ascend to the Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm. Under the illumination of the Dragon Gate Heavenly Radiance, so silver threads had already started to appear on Little White’s body.

Fortunately, this ti the white threads did not grow on himself, only Little White had begun to form a cocoon.

"Sleep, sleep, when you wake up, our backyard will surely be filled with silver mulberry trees..." Zhu Minglang gently patted the Little White Dragon on his shoulder, and his body involuntarily leaned backward.

Lying supine, Zhu Minglang slowly descended into the hustle and bustle of the mortal world amid the radiant sunset clouds.

This last Great Catastrophe of his could probably only be avoided in this manner, just as Li Yunzi had wanted to say but never did when drinking with him before.

She would not let him face that cruel choice.

Indeed, compared to the previous cruel choice, Zhu Minglang more calmly accepted the present one.

Even if it weren’t for accompanying Bai Qi in enduring the sentence of reincarnation, Zhu Minglang still felt inclined towards descending.

In the process of falling, Zhu Minglang saw countless deities rushing towards the gate of immortality, with himself being one of the few who chose the mortal world among the Gods.

Of course, occasionally, he also saw so Gods who were not fond of immortality; they, like him, were as noticeable yet not brilliant as teors at dusk.

At this mont, Zhu Minglang’s mood was actually the sa, filled with anxiety.

Looking at the Dragon Gate, he appeared calm and serene on the outside, yet inside, like the wife in the mountain pavilion, he had expectations and nervousness.

They had suffered hardships since childhood, their souls required coexistence.

Many things were beyond their control.

And in the Dragon Gate Heavenly Realm, they beca their own selves independent of others.

...

The Dragon Gate was gradually closing, and the Heavenly Radiance was also fading.

The night in Xuantian Capital was so wonderful; Zhu Minglang, still gently falling, could already sll the familiar essence of fireworks.

Yet why did his heart feel a tinge of loss still?

It wasn’t because he missed out on immortality, but rather...

Suddenly, Zhu Minglang saw a figure, hesitating slightly in the distant and ethereal crevice of the Dragon Gate, but ultimately she resolutely plunged towards the direction where he was falling!

She looked like a Chang’e fairy, her graceful figure was so outstanding and dazzling under the Black God’s Trace and the Dragon Gate’s Yin-Yang Pole Crown, like a tender star and charming moon, she dove into his embrace.

The wind danced through her hair, and that stunningly beautiful face once again made him infatuated and intoxicated.

The sense of loss in his heart vanished, replaced by indescribable joy...

Zhu Minglang also opened his arms to embrace her.

The vast celestial crown completely vanished, and the Dragon Gate shut abruptly.

In this brief darkness without light, with divine power slowly fading away, Zhu Minglang gazed hazily at the breathtaking beauty rushing towards him.

Those clear and beautiful eyes...

He would never mistake calling out her na.

Uncle Luan:

This marks the conclusion of "Dragon Shepherd."

I’ve always been unwilling to confine myself to one genre in writing, enjoying many attempts and experints.

There have been great successes and significant disappointnts, but fortunately, I have a heart that loves writing and will probably never waver, so even if my writing career is turbulent like Zhu Minglang’s, it’s a unique experience and mory for .

A book feels like a phase of my life.

Over more than a decade, I’ve walked through many phases of life.

Sotis I sit on the balcony, gazing at the sky and the flying birds, and start reminiscing about the books, the characters, the stories I’ve written before, feeling like an old man who unconsciously recalls his forr youth.

Yet as I dwell in this state, a voice in my head bellows, "Are you crazy? We’re only in our early thirties!!"

We’re experiencing youth at its finest!!

Well... what you say makes a bit of sense.

So, only in the early thirties? The older a writer gets, the more cherished they beco, with great stories still being written at sixty.

Ah, there’s another thirty years of writing possible?

At this point, another voice erges in my ear, deep and srizing: "Do you really still want to write for another thirty years? Honestly, writing is exhausting, reclusing, gaining weight, being a night owl, getting PUA-ed by readers for updates, getting criticized for bad writing, having more antagonists when writing well. Just think of the numbers in your bank account; don’t you feel you could live the next thirty years quite leisurely? You could taste true youth!

"Sorry, I want to write books."

"If possible, continue writing at seventy."

To clarify, the above voice isn’t a little devil in my head but life advice from most friends around .

Humph, these mortals simply don’t understand the joy of writing books. At a re thirty-two, I’ve experienced lives that many dream of!

First-person imrsive experience, understand? Knowing literary art, readers only see lines of dense words, but for those like us who read, what they see is grand, shocking, beautiful, touching, and resonant, which no film, no animation, no real scene can provide!

Hence, adaptations can never capture the feeling readers have in their hearts. (Not saying anything whitewashed; our book adaptations have always been very excellent.)

I love this feeling in books, and I believe everyone loves reading for this reason.

I feel like I’m not really an author but more like a navigator, taking everyone on a journey through a different world.

It’s an honor to be everyone’s navigator.

Truly, an honor.

I hope everyone enjoys this cross-world sightseeing ship nad "Luan."

...

Now let’s talk about plans after concluding and new books.

Hmm, over these more than ten years, this old ship is indeed a bit worn and damaged, needing a pause for rest and reinforcent.

What I want to write is far more than this, but while writing this book, I deeply realized that the knowledge I possess is still far from sufficient.

I want to go into secluded study for a period, it may last around a year.

First, treat any ailnts, exercise to get in good shape, which should be a top priority; otherwise, how can I write for another thirty years?

Then spend ti with family.

It’s been five years married, and still owe a honeymoon, and how suddenly is my son five years old, his words tinged with philosophy, how have the parents who have been by my side grown so many grey hairs...

Rambling, rambling, haven’t had a heart-to-heart talk with everyone for a long ti; actually, there are many things I want to say, and I like having heart-to-hearts with everyone, but often feel guilty when updates are less or not on ti, letting everyone down. The sa applies to family, sotis deliberately reducing communication, in truth because I feel guilty inside.

I know I haven’t been perfect to readers or to my family, but fortunately, whether it’s the big reader family or the small family at ho, they’ve all been very accommodating, giving ti to adjust and the opportunity to fulfill my duties...

Make so adjustnts.

Enrich myself.

Rest for a year, then continue sailing.

The new book is tentatively planned for next year’s Children’s Day!

Wow, today’s a great day for concluding.

I’m happier than the children on Children’s Day!
