Chapter 1430: Chapter 1434: Careless

The complete removal of the seal still requires so ti, and there will be traces of the Flare Print lingering. Empress Li can use these lingering traces to locate them, and when that mont cos, escaping will be incredibly difficult.

Therefore, it’s best to make a move during the solar sunspot’s arrival. Once the solar sunspot subsides, Empress Li will lose all connection to the Sword Spirit Dragon through the Flare Print and will have no knowledge of where the Sword Spirit Dragon disappeared to. She might not even know who was behind it at all!

Zhu Heavenly Officer provided Weaver Star with many useful suggestions.

It could even be viewed as luring Weaver Star onto the sa sinking ship.

In truth, Zhu Minglang considered dealing with Empress Li an even more challenging task compared to facing the Golden Crow.

The Golden Crow had flaws that could be exploited to find weaknesses and achieve their goals.

Empress Li, on the other hand, was no less powerful than the Golden Crow. Moreover, she had four Solar Corona Level masters by her side. Even Weaver Star admitted that pulling this off without leaving any traces was practically impossible. As such, they had to ntally prepare themselves for a potential direct confrontation with Empress Li.

In addition, the various Elder Emperors would never allow the Red Sun to escape. Taking all these factors into consideration, they needed more power to face any unpredictable scenarios that might arise.

Thus, after leaving the Divine Weapon Pavilion, Weaver Star began searching for Xianyou who could lend a hand.

She first traveled to the Southern Sea Witch’s Immortal Island. After expressing her intentions, the Southern Sea Witch let out a long sigh, as though she had foreseen Weaver Star eventually embarking down this path.

“I will assist you, but everything must take the greater good into consideration. If Jun Tian begins to stir because of this, I hope you can turn back in ti,” said the Southern Sea Witch.

“Thank you, Grandma!”

Next, Weaver Star headed to the Southern Heavenly Palace to visit the Immortal Crane Sage, whom she had once turned to for help.

Upon hearing Weaver Star’s proposal, the Immortal Crane Sage furrowed his brows tightly.

“Leave. I’ll pretend you never ca here today.” The Immortal Crane Sage clearly disapproved of Weaver Star’s defiance of the natural order, waving her off with a dismissive gesture.

“Uncle, you and my father once faced life and death together and were like brothers. Don’t you want to know why my father disappeared from the mortal realm?” Weaver Star asked.

“Xuan Sang, your mother and I both saw it with our own eyes. It was undeniably the Red Sun that killed Li Yin,” said the Immortal Crane Sage.

“Then where is the body? Why was there no corpse in the mourning hall, nor ashes in the shrine?” Weaver Star pressed.

“This…” The Immortal Crane Sage found himself at a loss for words.

They had assud that the young Li Xuansang wouldn’t notice such burial details, but it was now evident that she had rembered everything, carrying that confusion and grief deep within her heart all these years.

In the past, she lacked the power to seek the truth. Now, having ascended to the Solar Corona Level and gained knowledge of destiny, she needed more than just the truth of that fateful year—she worried about what terrible secret might be involved, one that could threaten the entire Immortal Court!

“The answer lies with the Red Sun. Only by freeing the Red Sun can we uncover the truth!” Weaver Star declared earnestly.

“Do you really want to go through with this? Isn’t everything fine as it is now? The Red Sun has fifty years left of its final rotational duty. Once fulfilled, your mother and the Elder Emperor will free it. Why must you do sothing that defies the laws of the Heaven realm? You could beco a god respected by all deities and admired by the world. Why throw away all the cultivation base, enlightennt, and virtue you’ve painstakingly accumulated, just to beco cursed by the Immortal Gods and reviled by people?” said the Immortal Crane Sage, his tone heavy with sincerity.

Indeed, he too longed to know what had truly happened back then. Li Yin had been his most cherished friend, but so many years had passed. Everything had returned to its rightful place. To reopen old wounds would co at too great a cost and might even involve further complications!

“There was a ti when I believed that all trouble would dissolve as I ascended to higher realms. Yet, when I stood at heights equal to yours, what I saw left utterly shaken. The peace of the mortal world is fleeting. The order of the Immortal Court is a sham. The cycles of the sun and moon are like a clumsy play endlessly replaying itself, riddled with incongruities and abnormalities, unreal like a dream…” Weaver Star voiced the revelations her divine sense had uncovered about the nature of the world.

Once, she attributed the countless oddities to her limited perspective at lower levels, unable to discern the world’s true face.

Now that she had reached the Solar Corona Level, she saw her once-mystifying anomalies as glaring, vast voids. Their presence seed to signal that the world she had lived in was never whole—it was shattered, pieced together.

“Xuan Sang, every single person who ascends to the Solar Corona Level is riddled with regret. Without exception.”

“Every deity of Solar Corona Level found no solace in their powerful celestial rays. Instead, they beca increasingly uneasy and restless.”

“We all know the so-called Heaven no longer exists. At so point in a forgotten era, Heaven abandoned us. Regardless of how many suns shine in the firmant, we are living in an age of darkness. No matter how many deities adorn the sky at night, none can guide humanity along a true path. From where we stand, we see this world as a burdened old man on the brink of collapse, and yet we discover no new vitality. We can only watch as it withers away with ti.”

The Immortal Crane Sage’s voice was tinged with despair and helplessness as he spoke.

When Zhu Minglang had awakened the Heavenly Yuan Sword, he too had glimpsed certain truths.

The truth was indeed cruel!

All deities who reached the Solar Corona Level must have grasped so portion of this truth.

“So if the present cannot be maintained, we can only try to forge a new path!” said Weaver Star.

“When you say that, you resemble Li Yin so much…” A hint of sorrow and nostalgia glimred in the Immortal Crane Sage’s eyes.

In the end, he nodded.

He agreed to help Weaver Star.

“In a critical mont, I will hold off the Southern Heavenly Emperor Lao for you, but I can promise nothing more,” said the Immortal Crane Sage.

“That’s enough. Thank you, Uncle!” A faint smile erged on Weaver Star’s face. Convincing the Immortal Crane Sage was the most critical step.

“Alas, at my old age, I am dragged along by you youngsters for one last act of madness,” muttered the Immortal Crane Sage.

After leaving the Southern Heavenly Palace, Zhu Minglang was left pondering.

Why did this plan involve the Southern Emperor?

“The Southern Heavenly Emperor Lao oversees the laws of the Heaven realm. What we are about to do cannot escape his formidable divine sense. If we don’t find soone to confront him, we might be apprehended by the Southern Heavenly Emperor Lao before we even act,” Weaver Star explained to Zhu Minglang.

“I underestimated the situation and oversimplified things,” Zhu Minglang admitted, patting his forehead.
