Chapter 1373: Chapter 1377: Immortal Elders

After completing these tasks, Zhu Minglang hurriedly returned to the Hall of Waiting.

This was the Immortal Temple in Fengdeng Divine City, the gathering place of various deities.

The Weaver Star was one of the most renowned deities in the City of Ten Thousand Miles. Naturally, she needed to attend such a grand occasion. As for Zhu Minglang and the other junior disciples, they were rely brought along by their master to broaden their horizons.

After all, they were newly accepted direct disciples, and they would eventually need to be introduced to the circle of deities their master was part of.

When the ceremony ended, deities began to rest here one after another. From the lofty halls and pavilions, one could gaze at the offerings below—colorful tiers of delicacies amassed like terraced mountains of food. Fine wines, exquisite dishes, spirit fruits, rare preserves…

If the Little Glutton wasn’t still unconscious from detoxifying itself, it would have already transford into a gluttonous tyrant by now!!

Suddenly, an overwhelming cheer reached its peak. The thunderous applause rolled through the flourishing Divine City like an unstoppable tidal wave!

Zhu Minglang walked towards the long-draped windows, parted the curtains, and tried to catch a glimpse from this ancestral temple hall. Which deity commanded such overwhelming popularity, creating this heart-stirring atmosphere?

Unfortunately, all Zhu Minglang saw was a cluster of celestial attendants; the deity’s figure wasn’t in sight.

“Heh, what are you doing here?” a voice rang out behind Zhu Minglang.

The tone was not only puzzled but carried a hint of arrogance.

Zhu Minglang turned around and saw Nie Ti Star Official dressed in an extraordinarily grand Star Official Immortal Dress. His chest was adorned with lavish and rare Star Moon Essence silver ornants, and intricate patterns of the Five-Colored Phoenix glead across his sleeves, while a lifelike True Dragon sprawled vividly across his chest.

Just to participate in this ceremony, Nie Ti Star Official looked as though he had draped his entire wealth onto himself.

Clearly, he wanted to stand out at this gathering of gods. However, when it was his turn to appear, it didn’t seem like anyone had cheered much for him.

“I woke up, then ca over with Sister Weaver,” Zhu Minglang replied nonchalantly.

Sister Weaver??

When Nie Ti Star Official heard this intimate form of address, his face imdiately twisted into that of a horse-monkey hybrid.

The dignity and nobility befitting a deity were utterly shattered by Zhu Minglang’s single sentence!

And he even intentionally emphasized that he had just woken up!

Did the Weaver Star personally wake you up??

For most people, it would have been a simple, unremarkable statent. From the perspective of a disciple, there wasn’t any real issue with it.

But to soone like Nie Ti, who bore ulterior motives, the words hit a nerve. Nie Ti had lowered his status and even sacrificed trendous career prospects to pursue the Weaver Star, ticulously performing grand displays of devotion here in the Southern Heavenly Palace. He had hoped his sincerity and actions would move her, leaving behind an extraordinary tale of romance. Little did he expect that the pivotal challenge would arise during the disciple induction phase!

And now, being the one who spends ti with the Weaver Star day and night is this brat in front of him—who even speaks such openly suggestive words!!

“In recent days, I’ve been diligently cultivating and have now broken through to the Moon Radiance God Divine Monarch Realm. I’m curious, where did you get the audacity to act so brazenly before ? After all, you’re just so minor official from the Beast Guardian Land. Do you think the Executioner Cauldron Dragon is here?” Nie Ti Star Official finally dropped the pretense, openly using his cultivation base to assert dominance.

“So, rely a Moon Radiance God Divine Monarch, huh? I thought you’d already reached Moon Radiance God King. Let know when you make it to the Sun Corona stage; then you’ll have room to gloat,” Zhu Minglang mocked.

What, so he’s not even at Moon Radiance God King Level yet??

Zhu Minglang had assud this guy was on par with the Weaver Star.

But now it seems Nie Ti Star Official, despite his extraordinary talent, lacked the diligence to match. The Weaver Star was already nearing the threshold of the Sun Corona Level Realm. If she encountered a heaven-sent opportunity, she might directly ascend to beco a Sun Corona God who dominated the Nine Heavens.

And yet, Nie Ti remained smug about barely attaining Moon Radiance God Divine Monarch—a whole realm behind!

Moon Radiance God Divine Monarch??

Couldn’t even defeat a newly erged Reverse Spot Dragon, let alone pose a challenge to the Ten Thousand Dread-Earthbound Dragon, whose cultivation and injuries were quickly recovering to its peak state.

“Hmph, and what is your cultivation base? Do you realize that impudence in the realm of deities invites divine punishnt? I’ll have you bow and kneel before —dare you disobey?” Nie Ti Star Official demanded, his tone tinged with anger.

“Then, why don’t you open your eyes and take a good look? What cultivation level do you think I’m at now?” Zhu Minglang replied with a sly grin.

The so-called hierarchy Nie Ti referenced, where Star Gods must kneel before Moon Gods, wasn’t explicitly outlined in any divine decree. Modern-day deities and immortals were far more open-minded and would never resort to feudal customs to assert superiority—especially not in a progressive region like the Southern Heavenly Palace, which welcod erging talents.

Nie Ti Star Official found himself shocked by Zhu Minglang’s confident deanor.

He released his Divine Sense to probe Zhu Minglang’s cultivation level, and soon enough, he detected a contract linked to a Moon Radiance God Dragon.

This was only because Zhu Minglang allowed Nie Ti to sense it. Normally, with Zhu Minglang’s formidable Divine Sense, Nie Ti wouldn’t even co close to gauging his strength.

“Moon Radiance Stage??” Nie Ti frowned, visibly startled.

This brat—how old is he??

How had he possibly broken through to the Moon Radiance Stage already!

In theory, Star God Divine King Level was the most grueling bottleneck for cultivators. Many prodigiously talented immortals and deities would falter due to celestial jealousy, unable to ascend further. Nie Ti himself had stagnated at that stage for about three years.

“Nie Ti, co over; let introduce you to a few celestial uncles,” a voice called out as North Chongyang Immortal approached, noticing Zhu Minglang and Nie Ti standing off to the side.

North Chongyang Immortal gave Zhu Minglang an appraising glance, surprise flickering across his face.

“Kid, you’ve reached the Moon Radiance Stage??” North Chongyang Immortal asked.

At this point, Immortal YaYue, Town Mountain Immortal, Bai Anzhong, and the Southern Sea Witch also arrived, flanked by their respective direct disciples.

“Hey, you old tirs, co over here!” North Chongyang Immortal suddenly yelled.

The other immortals of the Southern Heavenly Palace also approached with puzzled expressions.

“What’s the matter?” asked the Southern Sea Witch.

“Take a look at this kid—this Zhu Lang here. Check his cultivation level,” North Chongyang Immortal said, gesturing towards Zhu Minglang.

Zhu Minglang stood there, akin to a young relative cornered by nosy elders during a festival, forced to maintain a polite smile while enduring their evaluations.

“Well, well, a Moon Radiance God Child—already a Moon God!!”

“Incredible! Young Zhu Lang, when did you break through this heavenly barrier? How could such a monuntal feat go unnoticed by our Immortal Sect?”

“Indeed, we ought to hold a celebratory Immortal Ceremony, allowing the countless disciples of the Southern Heavenly Palace to look up to you as an example!”

“I’ve always said this kid was a precious gem. What a pity, what a pity—I didn’t humble myself enough to steal him as my disciple back then!”

The immortals chid in one after another, lavishing praises on Zhu Minglang.

Amid this flurry of accolades, Zhu Minglang could only retain his courteous yet slightly awkward smile. After all, several of these immortals had taught grand lessons before and were, in a way, his instructors.

To deflect further scrutiny, Zhu Minglang attributed his success to the Weaver Star’s generous ntorship whenever North Chongyang Immortal pressed him with questions.
