A denting gust of wind escaped into the place, coupled with the fog; the place was drenched in cold, chilling, spine-tingling cold.

A rudintary zephyr swirled and twirled around, and then, all the players froze.

The laughing young man and the lady paused as they listened to what was happening now.

There seed to be a cacophony of the wind in the place, shrouding the ability to see clearly, as all they saw at this point was just the fog.

"This is expected," Devon said to Drahon, imdiately summoning his scimitar-like sword and gripping it tightly.

Drahon nodded in the affirmative, also on guard, his stance fixed like he was ready to fight.

He summoned his SSS-ranked sword and also gripped it tight. This was the first ti he was holding it, and it felt pretty majestic.

The touch was solid, and it felt like hard steel.

The other players summoned their weapons; so held axes, while others held spiky swords.

They were all alerted. They hadn’t seen a monster, but it was sure they would soon.

The attack just so minutes ago from the skeleton monsters started with a thick fog. Although not as complicated as this, it made the players have in mind how a Skeleton monster was about to co.

And so they all didn’t have to see them to know they were near. They half expected them to show up. Before, they were naive—Drahon included—who just looked around and wondered who was coming, not knowing what was to co.

The fog now grew thicker, and for a second there, Drahon thought it would suffocate him, as it seed kind of hard to breathe properly.

A few seconds passed. Nothing happened. But the fog was still thick.

"We should get out of here," Drahon said. Devon was very concentrated on squinting his eyes and looking around like he was scanning the place.

Drahon was bemused.

"You see anything?" he asked.

Devon nodded in the negative. "Not at all."

The fog now beca so thick that it seed like the clouds had fallen upon them all and were now suffocating them.

The place was whitish, so whitish if one wanted to grab a handful of clouds, he instantly would.

"I have Demon Vision, aning I can see very clearly in the dark and sowhere like this," Devon said as he began taking cautious steps forward, Drahon following him.

Demon Vision?

Allows you to see clearly in the night and sowhere like this?

Drahon was speechless.

How lucky was Devon? Bro was literally OP. He had been given all unique skills in the ga like it was nothing and in just the beginning hours of Level One.

What would then happen if they entered the next level?

Drahon was kinda jealous. Not this bitter envy stuff but instead one of awe and astonishnt, because Devon’s dragon was ranked lower than him.

At so point, Drahon began to wish he had awakened a Demon dragon. Maybe, like Devon, it was what fitted his personality, as they were both dark-like and didn’t have smooth childhoods.

Maybe he needed sothing dark?

But again, it depended on the bond percentage, and if Drahon was to increase his, he would be getting so really great skills that would co in handy.

Suddenly...

The fog cleared.

Drahon was dazed with confusion.

How was that possible?

From between the trees, many towering figures stepped out, each one dwarfing the normal Skeleton Monsters they’d faced earlier.

Drahon, Devon, and the rest of the players opened their eyes in shock.

By ’Many’, the monsters were over eighty in number.

Their bones were darker (more greyish), almost black, and parts of their bodies were fused with jagged, obsidian armor. Crimson runes glowed across their ribcages, casting eerie reflections onto the forest floor.

Each carried a massive axe, its edge chipped and stained, with strange glyphs etched along the blade. Their eyes burned a deeper red, far more nacing than earlier monsters they faced.

Chains dragged behind them, scraping across the ground with a grinding screech.

"It’s the Skeleton monster!" soone shouted.

"They’re... different," another whispered, contrasting the forr person who had spoken.

Drahon instinctively gripped his sword more tightly than before. These weren’t just another wave of skeleton monsters. These were...

The Vicious Rank Skeleton Monsters, the highest-ranked monsters from the skeleton monster.

A lanky-looking player let out a squeaky yelp, a sound that didn’t match his towering fra.

The towering monsters were simply too nacing to behold.

They looked like sothing you’d only see in nightmares or horror movies.

Drahon decided to quickly scan their profile so he could see what he was truly up against.

Runes only he could see instantly appeared in front of him, and he saw:

[Monster Profile:]

• Type: Undead

• Rank: Vicious [Highest rank]

• Tier: B

• Threat Level: High

[Notable Traits:]

• Enhanced Strength and Durability

• High Resistant to Physical Attacks (able to be killed though)

Drahon made a face. He didn’t know why the monsters were given as Undead by the system. He frankly didn’t know what undead ant in this ga.

He decided to ask his system without voicing a word, just imagining it in his mind.

The instant he did that, the runes rearranged, and he saw:

[There are many types of monsters in the Dragon Ga. At this current stage, you will mainly encounter these three:]

[Undead – Creatures without life. Just bones or corpses moving through so dark and weird energy. They don’t feel pain and don’t stop unless broken apart.]

[Demon Monsters – Beasts created from a really dark and unknown stuff. They’re aggressive and hard to predict.]

[Half-Dragons – Not full dragons. Part human, part dragon. They still carry dragon power, just not the full kind.]

[Other monster types will be revealed as you progress further in the ga.]

[So skeleton monsters, for instance, may appear as Undead, Demon Monsters, or even Half-Dragons. The sa applies to Frost monsters and other types you’ll encounter soon.]

The runes faded instantly.

Drahon barely had ti to look back at the monsters when,

A monstrous roar erupted through the trees, plunging directly toward his direction.
