Having sworn unyielding loyalty to Dao Zi, the four great warriors imdiately charged towards Ling Yun in anger.
Were they foolish? No! Were they scared? Yes! That being said, for those who walked the path of the triads, every day was filled with bloodshed and conflict. There would always be tis where a person will et soone who they cannot defeat. However, that does not an that they should escape with their tails between their legs! After all, they were still quite well known in Qingshui City’s underworld. Even if they were stood face to face with imminent defeat, they should never give in to their fear! That’s the pride and code of conduct of the underworld!
“Stop!” Dao Zi scread while enduring the pain in his chest the mont he saw his four loyal n dashing towards Ling Yun. It was too late!

Having been kicked to the ground, the four great warriors struggled to get back on their feet. However, they realized that they could not get up because of the imnse pain in their chest. It was so painful that they were even breaking out in cold sweat.
“So? What’s your na?” Ling Yun asked again coldly as he pointed at Dao Zi
“I’m called Dao Yong, most people around this part calls Dao Zi.” Dao Zi answered obediently.
Ling Yun nodded his head before asking, “So Dao Yong, do you still intend to fight?”
Fight? To hell with the fighting! There was no way he was going to let Ling Yun have another round of human throwing session! Even together, the four great warriors could not even lift a finger against Ling Yun. Not to ntion, after the kick to his chest, Dao Zi could not even muster any more strength. What was there to fight now?
Dao Zi knew that so far, Ling Yun had only been playing with them. It is obvious that Ling Yun was holding back or else they would have been crippled! What a defeat! It was a total defeat! Not just that, Dao Zi no longer had the guts to continue resisting. That is how wide the difference in their abilities are! Dao Zi took a deep breath. Following the code of conduct, he wrapped his right hand around his left fist and spoke.
“We did not know that out opponent was such a warrior, we shall admit defeat for today. Please have rcy and let us off!”

Dao Zi imdiately held back twenty plus n and ordered them to clean up the clinic before they could go. At that mont, all those young n had lost their will to resist. Thus, they went obediently into the clinic and using what little lighting the street lamp provided they started cleaning. “Thirty thousand?” Dao Zi exclaid as he grit his teeth. Let’s just take it that that fat custor did not co yesterday night! He thought in his mind.
Ling Yun was now looking at the ground as his leg kicked the pieces of shattered glasses nonchalantly. Just by looking at the nurous cars that lined along the road, one could easily guess that they were worth at least two to three hundred thousand dollars. Yet Dao Zi was only offering a re thirty thousand? was he taking him for a fool?
Dao Zi’s heart hurt just thinking about losing so much money! To think that he had co to the clinic with the intention of exterminating the whole family. “Sixty thousand dollars, cash, in exchange for your five lives. Now hurry up and bring the money here!”
Dao Zi almost rolled over and fainted. The shock was equivalent to a mallet smashing his heart! That sum was worth two months of his pay!
As crazy as it sounded, at least the sum had been finalized. Just like what Ling Yun said, sixty thousand dollars in exchange for five lives. Twelve thousand dollars for each life. Following that train of thought, it was a fairly good deal. Furthermore, Dao Zi was sure that if they were to refuse this deal, they would no doubt pay the consequence on the spot! Even if Ling Yun did not kill them, if he were to use just a bit more strength, their dical bills would easily exceed even this amount!
Not to ntion the fact that Dao Zi had already damaged the clinic to such an extent!
Therefore, as much as it hurt him to part with such a large sum of money, he still reluctantly decided to agree to Ling Yun’s offer. He imdiately called the financial secretary of his gambling den and ordered her to bring the sixty thousand dollars over as fast as possible.

“By the end of the month, you’ll be back to normal. However, at midnight tonight, you’ll experience imnse pain for three to four minutes. Once you endure through it though, everything will be fine.”
Ling Yun gave Dao Zi a wide smile before continuing.
“I don’t care why you ca to wreck our clinic but if any more trouble were to befall this clinic in this month, you guys can get ready to forfeit your lives. Are we clear on this?”
Dao Zi was finally utterly convinced that the man before him was none other than a legendary martial artist! He could only lower his head in defeat as he accepted the bitter reality before him.
After twenty minutes, a car arrived outside the clinic entrance. A man and a woman got out of the car. Each carried a black bag stuffed full of hundred dollars notes in a neat and tidy fashion.
Dao Zi took the two bags from them and held it towards Ling Yun respectfully with both hands.
“Do you want us to count?”
Ling Yun took the bags from Dao Zi and dropped both of it nonchalantly on to the ground beside him.
“No need for that!” Ling Yun blurted out as he turned his head towards the clinic.
After making sure it was cleaned completely, he turned back to Dao Zi and reminded him, “Rember what I said. Co back to this place and find in a month’s ti. Now get your guys and get the hell out of here!”
