Chapter 163: A Change of Plan!

Translator:?Sparrow Translations??Editor:?Sparrow Translations

It did not take too long for the two periods of the lessons to pass. Just as the next lesson was about to start, Ling Yun stood up from his seat abruptly after he received a text from Tang ng.

“Please do not skip this lesson. Please!” Cao Shanshan pleaded Ling Yun earnestly.

“Hey girl, of course, I won’t. I’ll just be heading outside for a short talk with Tang ng. I promise I’ll be back before the end of this lesson”.

“Make sure you keep your promise!” Cao Shanshan uttered softly.

Showing an ‘OK’ hand sign to his gorgeous tablemate, Ling Yun made his way out of the classroom.

Yesterday night, Tang ng was hanging out with Li Qingchuan and his gang at CashBox Nightclub until three past midnight. He was so drunk he only woke up when the sun rose! He went to the school gate straight afterward.

However, he did not enter the school. He ssaged Ling Yun to co out and discuss the bet they planned.

Outside the gate of the school, there was no other vehicle except for this Ferrari. Ling Yun made his way into the front seats of the car.

“How much did you drink last night? What happened?” Ling Yun probed. Anyone would have done the sa after observing Tang ng’s alcoholic stench and lethargic appearance.

“Let’s not talk about it, brother. It was all to welco Brother Chuan back. I invited a few close friends to CashBox Nightclub and we only ended at three past midnight. To be very honest, I had no idea how I got ho,” Tang ng explained as his headache from his hangover struck.

“Anyways, let’s talk about the bet we discussed the other day,” Tang ng shifted to a more important topic.

“Oh… yes! Speaking of the bet, what’s taking you so long? Aren’t you the Little Gambling God?” Ling Yun furrowed his brows as he made his statent.

“Brother! You have to understand this is not a matter of my capabilities. It is a matter of the potential outco!”

“What do you an? Till now you are still not yet convinced that I’ll be able to enter Yanjing University?” Ling Yun rebutted, clearly displeased.

“No, no, no! Brother! I don’t doubt your abilities. In fact, I have the utmost faith in you! The tricky part is that you have been displaying outstanding feats these few days, so admission into Yanjing University would not seem like sothing incredible anymore!” Tang ng explained himself.

Ling Yun was flabbergasted. He understood what Tang ng ant. He understood what the problem was.

He had been exceptionally charismatic and cool the past few days, sweeping not just Cao Shanshan off her feet, but Xue ining and Zhang Ling as well. These ladies were a special breed. They were princesses in the mind of other guys. Yet they threw themselves into Ling Yun one by one. There were no challenges Ling Yun cannot overco!

Therefore, it went without saying that Tang ng would go broke if he were to insist on holding the bet.

Ling Yun’s supporters would not hesitate to bet on Ling Yun’s successful admission to Yanjing University, even if it ant a big hole in their wallets.

Ling Yun went deep into thought, pondering seriously over what Tang ng, the Little Gambling God, advised.

“Alright, then what do you think we should do?”

“Brother! Today is April’s Fool Day! We can take this opportunity to leak so news out and then we observe what the students feel about the bet! Then we can work from there,” Tang ng expressed the idea he had thought of last night.

“No. There’s no point in leaking out this bet anymore. We should focus on the target and the bet amount instead,l Ling Yun argued.

“Target? Bet amount?”

“Yes! Firstly, we have to figure out whose money we want to earn. Who in this school hates the most and will definitely not want to admit into Yanjing University?” Ling Yun guided Tang ng to the answer.

“Xie Junyan! And Gou Junfa!” Tang ng ca up with the answers instantly. He did not have to think a lot to get the nas out.

“You are right. From the very start, the aim of this bet was to suck their wallet dry. Thus, you can actually just walk straight up to them and ask if they want to place their bet. Feel free to make everyone in the school know about their bets,” Ling Yun asserted.

“Secondly, regarding the bet amount, you have to set a price floor to it. Let’s say you set the minimum bet at ten million dollars, who else except for that two rich bastards will place bets?” Ling Yun added.

Tang ng giggled as he found himself dumber than he thought he was. He was amazed by Ling Yun’s masterplan to trap the two ruffians.

“So Tang ng, do you know what to do now?”

Showing a thumbs up, Tang ng replied Ling Yun with the utmost respect, “Brother, you are so ruthless! I would’ve never thought of that! Wait, what if the two of them do not want to place any bets?” Tang ng was troubled by the ‘what ifs’ that could happen.

Smirking, Ling Yun shook his head and answered, “If they do not want to bet, we will talk and dare them till they decide to!”

“But… What if they bet that you can get into Yanjing?” Tang ng continued with his ‘what-ifs’.

“If they were to do that, I’ll submit a blank exam paper up!” Ling Yun said.

That left Tang ng speechless. Ling Yun had everything planned out. It was just a matter of ti before Xie Junyan and Gou Junfa fell into their trap.

“Anyways, I want to open a clinic in a few days’ ti. Try to use your relations to help get it done as soon as possible,” Ling Yun diverted to another topic.

Why did Ling Yun seduce Yao Rou? Did he have a crush on Yao Rou? What exactly was the reason Ling Yun got close to her for?

With her alluring looks as well as her wild and unconservative nature, Yao Rou was Ling Yun’s candidate as the nurse for his clinic after it was open. After all, there had to be a nurse at any healthcare organizations.

“Clinic?!” Tang ng had never expected Ling Yun to say sothing like this. He could not believe his buddy would be so daring.

“I’m a doctor, there’s no need to be surprised. I have hired the nurse and the accountant already. I just require you to settle the location and processing paperwork, and then we can all start earning big bucks!” Ling Yun asserted his stand.

“Brother! Where did you get the nurse and accountant from?” Tang ng’s curiosity grew.

Ling Yun did not have any reaction at all. Instead, he was thinking to himself, about having Yao Rou and his sister as his employed nurse and accountant.

“The paperwork and advertising are easy to handle, but your lack of a doctor certificate might change the whole ga plan,” Tang ng pointed out.

“How dumb can you be? Have you forgotten what Ning Er’s grandfather work as? That’s the easiest way to get yourself a doctor certificate,” Ling Yun announced.

“We will leave it like this. If you have nothing on hand, you can contact Tie Xiaohu. Another thing is, we will opening a securities account together later. I’ll give you a list of items I’ll need you to buy,” Ling Yun uttered to Tang ng. Ling Yun had not forgotten about the issue with Zhuang ifeng. He told Tang ng to handle it as well.

Initially, Ling Yun had intentions of playing truant for this lesson. However, given how considerate and caring his gorgeous form teacher was to him, Ling Yun changed his mind.

He opened the door and exited the Ferrari. “Brother! I saw sothing big on the news today. Guess what had happened to Qingshui City?” Tang ng’s sudden ntion interrupted Ling Yun’s departure.

“What? A pig was seen flying high up in the sky?” Ling Yun answered jokingly.

“Hey, Brother! It’s sothing serious! Do you rember the disastrous quake last night? The Dragon Mountain we were at last night collapsed after the storm! All that is left now is a few hundred ters wide pits!” Tang ng described everything he heard from the news.

“Are you serious? A few hundred ters wide pits?” Ling Yun was startled.

How is that even possible?

His intuition was right last night. It was not the collapse of any buildings or structures, but that of the Dragon Mountain.

There was the waterspout, the unusually vigorous storm and now there was this enormous pit! These three natural consequences must be linked to one another.

“How big is the pit?” Ling Yun followed up with a question for Tang ng.

“As of now, there is no concrete number. However, the newscaster at the live location did ntion it has a minimum radius of three hundred ters! As for the depth, no one can see the bottom,” Tang ng replied urgently as he recalled the image of the pit he saw on television.

“Alright, this thing does not have anything to do with us directly, so we need not be so concerned about it…” Ling Yun claid, as he turned his back and walked into the school.

Ling Yin’s mind races as he walked back to the classroom.

A pit with a minimum radius of three hundred ters? That ans a diater above six hundred ters! This is not a simple matter! I’ll have to go down and take a look myself!

His return to class cheered the dismayed Cao Shanshan up. She was close to giving up on him and his promise.

Now that Ling Yun had accepted Cao Shanshan, he was everything to her. For the following two periods of the lesson, she put in her heart and soul, dedicating herself to coach Ling Yun with his studies.

However, to Ling Yun, he planned to rember and morize everything that he could. After all, with his capabilities, he needs no more than a week to morize all the content from the books.

After an hour plus of morization, the class was dismissed. Ling Yun received a text from Yao Rou.

Yan Rou: “Handso, are you free now? I’m having my lunch break now, I want to et you…’

Before Ling Yun could even start texting her back, he was interrupted by Xue ining, who had purposely made her way to his classroom just to invite him for a al.

“Wait… You two??” Xue ining was shocked to witness Ling Yun and Cao Shanshan sitting side by side. A tinge of disgust and jealousy overwheld her.

At the sa ti, Miao Xiaomiao, who had been sitting beside Zhang Ling, looked up at Xue ining. Her pupils dilated as she gazed at ining.
