Lin nghan was embarrassed by his speech as she blushed and looked away. “Thank you for saving !” she added.
“Do not fidget! I’m going to remove the needles for you now.” Walking to her side, Ling Yun proceeded to pluck out the needles, one by one.
Within a minute, Ling Yun had had all the needles removed from Lin nghan’s body. “Alright. Now you are fine. You will have to wait for a while for the side effects to subside”.
Lin nghan, cheeks still red due to embarrassnt, nodded her head.
“Do you want to cover you up with a blanket?”, Ling Yun was concerned.
Realizing that she could finally cover herself up, she did not hesitate to grab the nearest blanket and hide her body under it.
You vixen! You definitely did that on purpose! Zhuang ifeng cursed in her mind.
“Hey, can you leave the room for a mont or two? I would like to have a private conversation with Ling Yun…” Lin nghan uttered as she looked firmly into the eyes of Zhuang ifeng.
“No way!” she rejected with no hesitation.
Ling Yun glanced at Zhuang ifeng and signaled to her politely to leave the room first.
She had no other choice now that even her ‘husband’ wanted her to leave the room. “Fine! But I’m tired and I want to rest early, so please keep your conversation short!” Zhuang ifeng said sarcastically as she left the room in a huff.
“Go and close the door, please.” Lin nghan asked Ling Yun, who duly complied.
“Did I look like a shaless bitch or a slut just now?” she plucked up her courage to ask.
Ling Yun chose not to answer.
‘Do you bla ?”
Ling Yun continued to keep silent. This made Lin nghan exceptionally anxious and terrified.
“It was two ladies that brought into the room! Until you reached to save , no other guys touched ! Neither did they get to see …in this state…” she attempted to explain herself to Ling Yun, in hope that he would understand.
Ling Yun knew what she was trying to explain. Despite that, he still could not accept the how dangerous it had been and how things would have ended up if not for his arrival in the nick of ti.
“Why…why didn’t you do that…to ?” Lin nghan popped the most significant question after Ling Yun refused to answer her.
And true enough, this question managed to get words out of his mouth. “Do that to you? Do what?” Ling Yun queried.
Lin nghan’s face was burning red. She had never felt so embarrassed before. “Do that…I an… have intercourse with …” she blurted out in a shy manner. After all, she was not as daring and proactive as Zhuang ifeng when it ca to intimacy.
Ling Yun smirked, before giving a short and sweet reply. “Because I’m Ling Yun.”
His na was no longer just a na now. It was an adjective as well. One that people would use to complint another person.
To Ling Yun, finding a lady for himself was not a problem. However, violating a lady when she was not conscious and unwilling about it was a despicable thing to do.
Even if she was soone ten tis more alluring than Lin nghan, Ling Yun would stick to his principle!
Ling Yun was direct and honest about his stand. That, however, demoralized Lin nghan and crushed her hopes.
“You…” she uttered.
Standing sneakily at the narrow opening of the door, Zhuang ifeng was surprised by Ling Yun’s statent too.

“That’s obviously not the main point. With your level of intelligence, I think you should not stay in the police force! Also, you will have to clean up this ss yourself! I’ve to prepare for my upcoming exams!” Ling Yun professed bluntly.
“But all I wanted to do was to prove myself!” Lin nghan rebutted.
Looking at how stubborn she was, Ling Yun refused to back down. “What is there to prove? Prove how stupid you are?” he asserted.
“Alright, I do not want to argue with you any longer. All the ruffians that I have beaten up have beco eunuchs! They will definitely co back for you so you better get this matter settled as soon as possible! Make sure you don’t drag into this!” Ling Yun was too lazy to drag this argunt further.
Lin nghan was dumbfounded. What? You turned them into eunuchs? There were at least fifteen of them!
“So what are you waiting for? Do you want to bring you to the police station so that you can leave your statent for investigations?” Ling Yun added.
“I…I will get my father to settle this matter for . And anyway, do you have ti tomorrow?” Lin nghan realized how serious the matter had gotten that only her father could bail her out of it.
“Yes, I’m free tomorrow. Why?” Ling Yun smiled.
Before Lin nghan could reply, a loud and sharp voice interrupted their conversation.
“No! He does not have ti tomorrow!, Zhuang ifeng shouted as she barged into the room and stared furiously at the eyes of Ling Yun.
How dare Lin nghan attempt to snatch my man away right in front of my eyes!
“Ling Yun, don’t you rember you have to open an account tomorrow? That will take up your whole already!” Zhuang ifeng added as she gave Lin nghan a black face.
By now, Ling Yun was confused and, at the sa ti, troubled by the tension between the two ladies. “You two can continue to discuss this further! But do not stay up too late! Rest early!” He advised them as he waved them goodbye.

Walking to the sofa in the living room, Ling Yun was still pondering about the possible outcos that could have happened if he had not reached in ti. The more he thought about it, the greater his angst at Lin nghan was.

He would be able to utilize his spiritual energy to craft basic talismans, as well as cast so elentary-level offensive or defensive spells.
With the sudden inflow of spiritual energy below his navel, this implied that he would be capable of learning and performing higher level martial arts moves and techniques! He no longer had to rely on his speed and brute strength to overco his opponents!

How did the two of them both end up sleeping together in the bedroom?!
